On 08/12/2021 i went to the royal sweet I bought uncovered sweet on plate looks good I asked the person as helping me is it fresh she said of course so I bought it took it home when I opened it try to eat some it was very stale sugar was dry on the top of the sweet I called them try to eat my money back they did not refunded me but she give me another one she said that's fresh I just cut it now my self however, tried again I. Couldn't eat it still stale . bu I heart from my relative and family they have a bad experience with there products as well I thought they were exaggerating but it was true some customers contacted the owner she'll blame the workers So, the bottom line is please don't waste your money try the item before u buy it. thank for your time read more

Literally everything looked amazing in there, except for the writing on a cake, looks like a 3 year old wrote it, but whatever I was going to pick one without writing. This is the worst place I ever been to and I had the worst experience ever! So I was trying to order a cake I showed them a picture. I specifically told them I don't want that red icing to be like that but instead a straight red line. Also I wanted fondu and they told me they don't do that cause the Scarface is a picture and they told me they can't do the money either ? Then they said they can do cream. That's not what I wanted at all but I had no choice I needed to order a cake for my brothers birthday. They also told me that they would write the happy birthday in fondu the same way it's shown in the first picture and clearly they didn't. Now what angered me the most is that THE PICTURE IS GREEN. I was very angry and on top of all this mess they spelled SCARFACE AS SCAREFACE instead like this cake couldn't get any worse!!! I wouldn't even pay 10$ and I paid 90$!!!! The worst thing is that they didn't care one bit and said oh the printer stopped working and didn't even give me any money back!! Also they said they will fix the name. The guy took the letter E out and it was a complete mess and ugly and he put a MACAROON in the middle of the name to cover his mess!!! There was pace of hair in her baklava displays I show it to her. All she does remove it from the display and put it back for next Custmer to come and buy it. I said what fuck why did you just put back in the display she respond me we will remove it. Once I am gone I told her that's lie and I come in 2 hrs the baklava pan is still in display for customers to buy slice wow. I will never ever go there or neither my family from this place. She remove it from her finger her finger nils yacky. Thanks god I catch it before I bough from her. Very nasty. read more

I came here and it took a good 3 minutes before I was I guess acknowledged? Or greeted for that matter. Otherwise I would've gave 5(first impression is important, this can easily alter a customer's experience for the good or bad). It appeared some of the employees were leaving and everyone was saying their goodbyes. I felt kind of awkward tbh but I continue to look around and then suddenly one of the women working handed me a yummy little sample and then she became very welcoming. I picked the pieces I wanted and my total was $20(they sale by the pound). I think I got like 12-15 pieces. I've gotten baklava for $2.50 A PIECE & those pieces were 1.5"x1.5"-2" so the price is standard from what I know. I came back another time a very pretty younger girl was working this time and she was pretty nice. If you like baklava but don't care about customer service this will be good for you. read more

I never leave a bad review.... But this was special. I bought a few things from this place in the past and it was good, but the last couple of times was very disappointing. Not only I had to wait a long time to get an order in with one person working both on taking orders and cash register. I ordered a cake which was for a very special person, I ordered white cake with raspberry inside and vanilla cream. My husband went to pick it up and I was horrified of the way they wrote the name, a three year old's writing looks better than this, then we cut the cake and to my special need person it was a disappointment. The cake was chocolate, and no fruit. I am guessing the lady just picked whatever they have and gave it to my husband thinking we're not going to notice. Seriously? Will never go back there again. Sad when businesses that we are trying to support do that. read more

This is an ultimate gem in El Cajon! I was given a balkava by a colleague and immediately found myself here the next day getting a big shareable tray for others. It's that good. The staff are super friendly and helpful, and the selection is great! The cakes also looked GORGEOUS but I stuck with the baklava. I got a sampler tray of lots of kinds, and each one was similar but had enough difference to be super interesting! The flavors and textures were NEXT LEVEL and just seriously enjoyable. The price is also really reasonable! I paid$11.99/pound as of May 2018. You can't really go wrong here! read more
