Not sure I've ever had such a bad pedicure. In town for a few days to celebrate my birthday with my daughter who lives near this business and while her toes turned out amazing, mine look like this. The hot stone portion was just plain torture. For some reason she thought my shin bones needed a hard hot rock massaged on them rather than my foot or the back of my calf. I gave it 2 stars because my daughter had a nice experience and everyone besides the woman who worked on me, was very nice and the salon looked clean. read more

I have been using this salon ~every 3 weeks for pedicures for sure, as well as occasional manicures. I have had 2-3 sets of SNS powder gel nails, but don't really like the taking off process, so I bring my own OPI polish. This is the only negative I have experienced at this salon. They only have a few non-gel OPI colors, none of which I like for my fingers. I use their Cajun Shrimp regular polish on my toes. My work around is to bring my own color. The place is busy, but still manages to be calming. After you have been seated in a massaging chair with the requisite plastic liner, they bring you snacks and water drinks on a silver tray. Additionally, all of the implements are in their sterilized bags and are opened in front of you. They also don't reuse nail files or the yellow/pink/purple scrubby things for your feet. If you are a germ-o-phobe like me, you have found a salon you can relax in. read more

Oh, absolutely not. Not today, not ever. Because why--why--did these flimsy, tragic little Gel X nails, with a hideous base color and the saddest excuse for a pink line, cost me a staggering $300?! And let's be clear--not a single ounce of quality, creativity, or basic effort was reflected in that price. Not even a whiff of it. And then there's my mother-in-law, who specifically requested a glittery French tip--simple, right? Wrong. Because somehow, some way, this salon managed to deliver not one single speck of glitter. Not one. It's almost impressive how badly they missed the mark. But the real kicker? When questioned about the change in price for this absolute disaster of a salon trip, the lady at the front desk--you know, the one with that lil' headset like she's dispatching air traffic, but she absolutely is just listening to every conversation ever had in there cause the moment the girl who was going to actually do my nails told me they can actually offer the less expensive route, the lil dispatcher intervened with an explanation that made zero sense and really translated to "I already told you, this way is better but only because it's more $$ money $$" -- looked at us like we were the ones trippin; and she said I had received an additional manicure, on top of my pedicure and the charge for the nail removal she insisted had to happen and the amateur application of a whole new set of nails, because "GelX cannot be filled in" (which it absolutely can, our regular salon literally did it 2 weeks ago for my current set - but anyway, when my mother in law went to tell her that I didn't get an extra manicure, the women, must have been waiting for someone to test her gangstaa all day, cause she responded with the quickness and with her whole chest, "she got a line" And since nobody is about to negotiate with a thug in a pink cardigan, we paid the three hunnnit $$$ and charged it to the game cause - this is NOT and could nevvvvvvver be our usual salon, we unfortunately ended up at this one due to our usual spot being closed, and limited time... Moral of the story, STAY LOYAL TO YOUR USUAL SALON, STAY LOYAL, STAY LOYAL & STAY LOYAL. if your nail salon is closed, GO HOME & come back - because $25 for a line, and the disappointment of anticipating glittery cute nails and not even getting sparkles, is audacious - and then being bamboozled by a cardigan wearing, unbothered, sales-lady thug was the oddest thing I think I've ever experienced lol - and it will not be happening again Wouldn't recommend. I'll start by saying Helen at this location is amazing. Thorough, kind and does genuine good work. Makes everything well worth the price. She did my manicure and pedicure last time and I was beyond impressed. I called today and she was not available. But my last experience was so great I was willing to try someone new. Big mistake. I was assigned the sub par technician Danny. I noticed he was doing poor work. I stated a concern with length and shaping, but he rest assured me it would all be filed etc in the end to be even and smooth. As hes putting on the SNS powder for my French nail design, I notice varying lengths again and bumps. Rest assuring he would go back and fix it. He never did. Every single nail looks different. Every single nail is a mess, bumpy and sloppy. When asked to speak to someone, I was met with hesitation and finally offered 10% off my $75 manicure... $7? That's more insulting than keeping it at $75 IMO. I will never go back here. No one made this right in my eyes. And for a $75 manicure, I expect more. read more

First off, let me say that I was impressed by the appearance. It was clean and well decorated. But, once my gel manicure started, the let down began. Over years of using this product, I have found OPI to be a superior product. Imagine my surprise when I asked to see OPI colors and was told they don't use it. It seems like the two technicians were racing. (They don't carry SNS brand either). Then, it seems like the two techs working on my sister and I were racing. From walking in the door to walking out, it was around 30 minutes. It didn't feel pampered in the least. It felt like I was on time clock. The product they use is very thin and the finish isn't smooth and shiny. I will say that the individual that did my nails was very sweet (for the short amount of time I was with her). I did not notice until I got home and looked up close that almost none of them are even. My toe nails were clipped crooked. And I tried to correct but the person doing my toes did not speak English well. I am disappointed because I just noticed they barely scrubbed my feet and the polish was not taken to the tip of the toenail making it look unfinished. Also, my cuticles were not clipped as well. I paid $100 for mine and my daughter's service. I probably won't be back. All of the employees were definitely rushing through their clients. Abby at the front desk answers the phone professionally and is always sweet and kind when she assists you in person. Christine did a fabulous job on my pedicure! She cut my toenails to the perfect length (I like them really short) and my gel polish looks fantastic. Sonny is so meticulous in execution and makes helpful suggestions when planning my acrylic nail designs. He took a lot of care and really made me feel pampered. Kate did my gel manicure and had a very gentle touch as well. So I've been shopping around for a new salon for a while. My last straw at my last salon was that they extremely damaged my hands (you can see a little in the photos around the cuticles) and made me and my friends hands bleed. I was apprehensive about trying a new salon but I will not be going anywhere else. The Salon was clean, beautiful and a great atmosphere. My only complaint was waiting 20 mins but that wasn't bad at all especially since it was a Saturday morning and it was very busy so it was understandable. Tracy did my nails and she was amazing! She was very kind, and made sure to get the exact length and shape I wanted (which my old salon could never seem to get right, just short almond nails) but Tracy nailed it!
