It's everything you could ask for in a Thai delivery place, the restaraunt is kinda small inside, but comfortable enough to seat a small group. The food is pretty damn good by standard, everything tastes fresh and the spices are excelent. I usually have it delivered to the office being the lazy fat ass yelper that I am, and the delivery guys are always prompt and I've never had a problem with their service. Today I'm having the fried squid appetizer and Spicy Mint Leaves, with shrimp and beef dinner combo Its excelent!!! It comes with steamed rice and small soup which consists of a couple cubes of chicken and tofu, egg noodles, sprouts and onions... the soup is aight, its a little watery but its good. read more

I hope this review is helpful: I got panang curry. Perfectly spicy, favorful but lacking snowpeas or potatoes! Chiken in it wasnt great. Thai iced tea tasted really authentic, not overly sweet/syrupy tasting. Also, had mango & sticky rice: amazing! So good! With coconut milk, big serving! I've gone to/ordered from this place a few times and this is what I think: Service: when you go there, they're super nice and friendly. On the phone they are courteous. Once, On the phone i was spoken to very rudely I wanted to cancel my order and be like fuck you guys! BUT he explained they were very busy and apologized and I was hungry so I let it go. HaVn't happened since. Prices: I think their prices are just a tiny bit on the high side, for the amount you get, but nothing too crazy. It's ok. Food: I try to make it so that I try something new everytime I eat here and so far this a what I've come up with; AMAZING Tom kha gai soup! Just thinking about it now is making me crave it! Really good egg rolls- not too greasy good flavor and great veggie/noodle/meat ratio. (I've had some at other places where they claimed to be veggie eggrolls and had all rice noodles and such) Seafood pad see ew is tasty. No imitation crab all fresh. Good flavor. I wouldn't recommend the wantons- giant wonton with no filling, no flavor. Also the Kung Pow chicken... I'm sorry but it was bland and didn't look or taste authentic. No bueno. I am very disappointed in the food. Especially the Yom Yum Kung...shrimp soup with lemongrass...just about the most horrible soup i have ever had. The only reason i gave 2 stars is because the eggplant dish was good. But i paid extra for beef and shrimp to be added to the padthai and it was only chicken...not the tastiest dish either. I ordered curry to go it was 14.00 dollars it was terrible the rice was super watery and gross and then the curry didn't even taste like curry and it was full of oil. I was so disappointed that they give you like literally a little bowl maybe 2 ounces something ridiculous. I just wanted to give it back but since been in the industry. I'll just tell you what a horrible place you guys are. I live down the street and I would've gave you guys so much of my business you should really learn how to run the restaurant and correct your recipes very very disappointed. The guy taking orders over the phone was super nice. easy to talk to and understand. We ordered the beef salad which was ok... nothing special about it. It just tasted like what a beef salad should taste like. My friend got the beef pan nang curry. He said it was also ok that hes had better but the one from royal taste wasn't too bad. Pad see ew was ok. The rice we got wasn't cooked all the way. The shrimp tempura wasn't even tempura batter which i was looking forward too. We ordered sticky rice with mango which they forgot to bring but they came back after i called. No hassle. All in all everything was just mediocre. i had nothing special to say about any of the dishes except they just tasted like what they should. nothing extremely good or bad. i probably would order from here again because they deliver and the food doesn't taste bad. read more

This place just isn't what it used to be. I've been coming here since my mother was pregnant with me, so I've seen quite a few changes in ownership. To the new owner I must say, you need to step up your game, perhaps get a new cook. Being that I'm now working from home, I haven't stopped in here for nearly a year (my job is 2 blocks away from here). Although the quality of food has been at a steady decline over the years, I'd still order at least once a month for lunch. I'm doing what I can to support small businesses so decided today I would surprise my mom with dinner from "our place" as we used to call it. I ordered panang, red curry, spicy noodles, lemongrass soup, all at a medium spicy level, and 2 Thai iced teas with boba. I'm sad to say, everything was a complete disappointment. Never have I ordered lemongrass soup and been able to see completely through it. The broth literally looked and tasted like water with the faintest lemongrass flavor and not a drop of spice was added to it. The panang and red curry were both ridiculously spicy, runny and thin. It was as if they were watered down just like the soup. Definitely not the thick yummy curry we've had here in the past. The spicy noodle was so bland and mushy with very little beef, and again, no spice. The noodles all come together to form one big noodle block. I couldn't pick apart a single noodle. The Thai iced tea was nothing excited and the boba was not cooked thoroughly. Every one I bit into was still hard. I ended up straining the tea into a glass and throwing the boba away. I'm sorry, Royal Taste, but you've lost a customer of over 30 years. read more

Ever since Parichart closed we've been looking for another Thai spot that delivers n I have to say Royals is pretty awesome. Usually when we order Thai delivery it's a gamble but this one paid off. We got chicken satay: nice marinade, kinda wonky peanut sauce, I love the little container of pickled cucumbers. Generic chicken egrolls: crispy, piping hot, surprisingly good sweet/spicy sauce. Yellow chicken curry: I only had a bite and it didnt bother me but the boyfriend said it was made of curry powder and water. Dry. No Bueno. And now for the STAHH of the meal, Tom Kah Koong: spicy coconut shrimp soup with lemongrass and ginger: Good Lawd!!! I asked for spicy and I got it, but it burns so good. The shrimp was obviously just dropped into the piping hot soup because it wasn't super over cooked. The soup itself wasn't oily like they can be sometimes. The soup was silky n sour and sweet but no too thick. I could go on and on. There's a ton more on the menu that I can't wait to try! I was impressed and I will be calling them again. read more

My husband and I celebrate Thai tuesday some weeks and this is our go to place! We place an order to go so we can enjoy it at home, but also because the dining room is pretty small. My favorite item on the menu is the green curry with tofu. The level of spice is a little inconsistent, but if you tell them how you like it when you order they'll make it that way (: The service is very quick and friendly.
