Pad See-Ew and Green Curry (24 oz)
    Halley C.

Don't let this hidden place fool you! It's so good! The place is small but comfortable and very clean. The servers were so kind and were so happy we came from Los Angeles to try their food. The Pad see ew was fresh and the veggies were tender. The noodles were perfectly cooked too! The green curry was creamy, fragrant and balanced . My boyfriend loved the seafood soup said it reminded him of the Ochoa seafood soup from back in the days which sadly doesn't hit the same anymore. Only thing I would change would be to request a higher spice level. I requested the mild spice level and to me it was not spicy at all. Other than that everything was great and the prices are not bad at all for the quality and quantity!

    Updated Lunch Special Hours

Came in for their lunch special. They still have til 3pm in Yelp. I arrived a little past 2. I requested them to update their hours on Yelp. I ended up ordering from regular menu. Got shrimp Pad Thai, 9/10 and Beef with Broccoli, 7/10. Also got Thai Iced Tea, 10/10. They had everything done in few minutes. The ladies are all nice and greet you soon you come in. Lots of parking in the area. The place is clean with homey atmosphere.

My first time and we got take out last weekend and I know I'm already going back this weekend. Really good Thai food with excellent flavors. We had it for the first time last weekend and I already want more. Like other reviews have mentioned, this is more of a take out place with a few small tables. The kitchen is open air so you can see the Chef cooking up your food nice and fresh. I called my order in and it was ready in the time they mentioned. Everything was great! Delicious. My favorite part of this place is they can substitute fish fillet for all of their dishes! Including the curries! And they can accommodate food allergies based on the menu. Highly recommend the spicy fish (makrut lime leaves! So good!!) and spicy fried rice (so gooood). We did medium spice but next time we are going to try "spicy." Looking forward to being a regular!

    Drunken noodles with mixed seafood

No wonder there's a line for lunch. Their portions are ginormous. And the flavors were popping. I'm not a huge fan of Thai food because most restaurants blandify their food. This one is an exception. Not pictured is the short ribs, which were piled on like a mountain and could probably feed 5 hungry adults. The same can be said of the other dishes we ordered. The drunken noodles were properly spiced with basil leaves being the most prominent flavor. The calamari stayed crunchy for the whole meal and the papaya salad had that slightly salty, fishy, limey flavor like it's supposed to. We went a bit early and were seated immediately. The interior was pleasant enough, slightly dated. Parking was pretty good. It's not a huge lot but enough spots that it wasn't painful. Recommended but if you're late, expect a wait.

Crispy Pork Gailan and Crab Fried Rice

We love take out from v Original Thai. Initially we weren't too fond of the food but after a few years, we gave it another try. Now we love it! Kids love the chicken satay and chicken pad see ew. Crab fried rice is the absolute favorite for my daughter and I. I've tried cream fried rice at so many That restaurants but nothing hits the spot like the one here. We get it every single time. The pad kee maw is also good but really spicy, even when you order it medium hear. It's not a drunken noodle but similar in texture and taste. The crispy pork gailan is also pretty good. I've had it twice so far. We will definitely be coming back for more crab fried rice!

Pad Thai Chicken and fried tofu with dipping sauce. Delicious!

Great stop on Halloween traveling through. Excellent food! I got the traditional pad thai spicy with chicken. Delicious. Appetizers for me tonight was fried tofu with dipping sauce. Loved it. The pad thai was so good that I ordered a second one to go. So saving this location for a future return. Copy little place. Vibe is champ. Recommend

Today we came for lunch to celebrate a birthday. The size of this location is so great for groups! I will always appreciate the easy parking too. We all LOVED everything we ordered: Pork & shrimp dumplings w/crispy skirt - made fresh, chewy, meaty, yum! Salmon belly fresh rolls w/tamarind sauce - we always have to get at least 2 orders bc these are so good! Pomelo salad - the freshness of this light salad is amazing. Pomelo chunks, shrimp, red onion, crispy shallots, mint, carrot, bean sprouts, lettuce, a light dressing & crispy shrimp chips makes this one of the most perfect dishes! Garlic noodles w/shrimp - another one of the best dishes on the menu - fat shrimp, garlicky umami-rich noodles. So good! Shrimp skewers - head & tail on, super garlicky, super fresh shrimp! Sizzling filet mignon - the most tender chunks of beef, in a delicious sauce with bell peppers, onions, tomato & cucumber. Served with steamed rice & a dipping sauce that I wanted to pour on the rice & just eat that alone. Just writing this makes me wish I had leftovers to snack on right about now. But everything was so good, we ate it all. No leftovers for me, so I'll be back again very soon!

There's quite a few things on the menu, including some all-day specials. However, heard the better dishes are not from that menu, so opted for some appetizers and an entree. Ordered the salmon belly spring rolls and pork spring rolls. We also ordered the pork clay pot. Spring rolls came first - they were both well made and tasty. The sauces match great with them. I preferred the salmon belly spring roll but that's all relative - both were good. The clay pot dish came shortly afterwards. The rice was nice and crispy from the rice pot and went well with the pork belly pieces in the other pot. The sauce was on point - was worried it would be salty, but wasn't. Price point was decent. Would come back and try out a few other dishes next time around.

You can watch the whole process of your kimbap get made: rice and ingredients on top of the seaweed, rolled, brushed with sesame oil, and cut. I've tried most of their kimbaps [tuna, bulgogi, jinmi (spicy squid), cheese, kimchi, yuboo cho bab (fried tofu skin kimbap), Angel kimbap (keto)], and my top three are: bulgogi, tuna, jinmi. I absolutely love their spicy chewy noodles with vegetables (jjolmyun). It's not that spicy and packed with shredded cabbage, carrots, and cucumbers. Their spicy rice cake (ddukbokki) is decent and hits the mark. The steamed dumplings and fried chicken were okay. The hand-pulled dough (vegetable) soup (sujebi) was good. They also offer delivery through Postmates. I'm always coming back here to get my kimbap craving satiated!

Nice mom and son store with great Taiwanese food and even greater authentic Taiwanese restaurant…read moreexperience! Came here for the first time and was immediately greeted and seated by Taiwan ma. Her Taiwanese hospitality is both straight forward and honest. She didn't want me sitting right next to the door to avoid the cold draft. I also returned my Taiwanese honesty mentioning not wanting to take up a bigger table for just 1 person. Looked through the menu and chose the filet mignon rare. She looked shocked for the rare request and we gently negotiated for a 5(分)out of 10 10 being well done. Meaning medium. The food came and it was great. Medium was perfect amount of rare as Taiwan ma knew it would be. Perhaps American scale and Taiwanese scale are different and I'm the fool for not knowing. With the tenderness of the meat and the flavors of the mushroom gravy working in symphony, I was in texture and flavor heaven. The corn chowder and 2 slices of French garlic bread before was also perfect in every way from simple presentation to the crispness of the toast to how well the chowder soaked into the bread with a dip. Amazing. Taiwan son talked to me about Pokémon cards and Taiwan ma talked about sleep disorders and some happenings in the community. You can tell she really cares about her customers and their wellbeing. She reminds me of who I try to be as a dentist playing doctor in my community and I called her a food doctor as a compliment! Earlier, I heard Taiwan son talk about dating woman of different nationalities and Taiwan ma told her son in passing that I have an Indian wife! As if I could be a source of wisdom in interracial relationships. I'm not. While this maybe a source of awkwardness for some, this Taiwanese banter warms my heart and makes me wish I live nearby to come see them every week! Maybe I can be her son's wing man and help him catch some foreign game? Haha sorry for bleeding that Taiwanese banter onto the virtual Yelp pages. Taiwan ma told me the history of her journey opening the original store in Rowland heights, then moving here. Sold the place in 2018 and just reclaimed the restaurant in November of 2025. Wishing her the best of luck and that I could come see her and her son thriving every year I come to Anaheim for the dental convention CDA
