I appreciate it because I didn't know that my dog was scared of getting her nails trimmed. They're always busy so make sure you call ahead to make your appointment. They also have a store attached to them so you can buy retail items there. The service was pretty fast and there's tons of things to do nearby while you wait. Pricing was $95 for my pup. My only complaint was the parking. It was a little difficult as it is street parking only.

We started getting daily reports, with "basics" box checked. They were thorough, precise, and complete. My Dad worked for Polaroid for 20 years, and these pet sitters were awesome at taking pictures. Every day we'd open up the emails and this noise would come out of our mouths: not ooh! Yecch! But...: Awwww, look at how cute she looks. Her wariness and caution as a cat showed, but her shyness rounded the corner a bit. Sitter4paws let us take a long vacation worry free at what we thought were reasonable prices, for a truly truly worry free vacation. I will never use them again after my TERRIBLE experience. Initially used this service for a short business trip with success so tried again for a longer trip to see family between Christmas and NYE. The company sent a sitter I had never met who incorrectly used the pill injector on my sick, elderly cat and forced her to swallow the over inch-long applicator tip. Resulted in $3,000 emergency vet surgery to remove that I had to manage from out of town. So deeply stressful for me but mainly my poor elderly asthmatic cat!! They handled it but SO unnecessary and only happened bc of their bizarre business model where they pick whichever of their employees are available, not someone who knows your house/pet. So if you get one who knows what they're doing you don't necessarily get them again - it's totally random from the customer's perspective. Instead of enjoying my family I had to spend the time managing the emergency they created from afar, stressed and fuming that I trusted this company to send someone competent to care for my sweet older cat. After the first disastrous pill delivery issue they sent the **same person** again a day later who clearly doesn't know how to give a cat medication and she, again, incorrectly gave my cat her medication!!! My cat gets ill if she misses just one day, the medication is a high-dose steroid for her asthma. The employee did not know how to give her the pill, but still marked the medication as administered on their form (I only figured out it didn't happen when I read the notes) and instead of giving her the pill rubbed it on her gums -?!? I am FURIOUS for my poor cat and at the incompetence of this employee they continue to use, along with the management that assured me they know how to give cats medication and yet still sent this individual out after it was proved that they cannot give a cat medication effectively. The other employees seemed to be ok but I had no choice over who they sent over, meaning every visit was a gamble. If you need anything beyond the most basic service, avoid avoid avoid!!!

I spoke before hand with the owner and told her all of my concerns and after a day she called me and arranged for a meet and greet with Gabby (dog walker). On the first day of the scheduled walk my dog did not want to have his leash put on and even growled and showed his teeth to gabby. She was so kind and patient with him!! She spent 1 hour trying to get him to walk with her... she truly loves what she does and it shows!! He eventually got acclimated to her and now he loves her!! Thank you Fetch from the bottom of my heart for taking such good care of my beloved doggie!! I called the morning of my scheduled drop off just to verify that everything was complete and that I was clear to bring my cat in. The woman who answered confirmed that everything looked good, that all paperwork was complete, and that I could drop off before 6 PM (closing time). I told her I would be there at 5 PM and she said that was perfect. I drove there, knocked on the door, rang the doorbell, and called multiple times. No answer. No response from anyone. No call back or explanation. I was left standing outside with my cat and had to scramble to find a last minute sitter. If I had not confirmed that morning I could understand a miscommunication, but to be told everything is confirmed and then to have no one there is unacceptable. I would not trust this facility with my pet. One star, and I will not be returning.

My dogs used to go to I dig my dog, but I stopped after an incident wherein my dogs had been peed on and attacked by a larger dog. I think any place that you choose is fine so long as the staff and the place resonates with you; for me, Dogtopia is that place. I absolutely love Dogtopia! Every month they provide you with a calendar of events, and you can take themed photographs of your dogs or do arts and crafts. My only complaint is that sometimes I feel like I am overcharged for the photographs, considering my dogs are in the photo together. However, the fact that they take the time and effort to do these projects with the dogs is so cute and appreciated. The boys also love going and every time we drive by, or pull up to the driveway they get really excited. I have left them overnight a couple of times and I have had no issues. Dogtopia provides kibble for them, and they also cook food for the dogs. Or you have the option of bringing your own food for them. I also really love that they provide you with a little report card whenever the dogs get boarded. There is an app so you can schedule when you want your dog to come in, and you can schedule grooming or spa appointments. There was an incident once where my dog had his nail cut a little too much and was bleeding. Dogtopia did let me know, and I appreciated that they took the time to remedy the situation. I was even offered a free day of daycare because of having to take my dog to the vetveterinarian. I feel like they really care about my dogs, and they know their names as soon as my boys arrive in. They are also aware of who is picking them up and who is on your emergency contact list. Whenever my dogs have had any issues, I get phone calls. For example, Kennedy did have a seizure and I was immediately called. There was also a time where one of my dogs had a large hematoma, and Dogtopia did a good job at making sure that his wrapping stayed intact. It was nice to be able to have Carmichael still go to daycare, even though he was in medical treatment. The staff is really friendly and for the most part they do a good job at making sure everything stays clean. I love getting the weekly newsletters, but my favorite is getting photographs of my dogs. If only they provided more photos! Plus, I love watching my dogs on camera.

It means so much to have a reliable place where I know Finn is happy, safe, and well cared for. As the person in the relationship who has never owned a cat, I felt as though I was at a huge disadvantage in both advocating on behalf of our Aussie but also facilitating a compatible future partner in crime. Given that we were understandably unable to facilitate a meet and greet with both pets, I am very appreiciative of Christine, who helped us as she was both incredibly kind and patient with me, taking the time to provide thoughtful answers to all the questions and concerns I had. it was very reassuring being able to lean into Christine.

I took my tortoise to Exotic Animal Veterinary Center because he had stopped eating, hoping to finally understand what was wrong and get a clear treatment plan. Instead, I spent over $1,000 in just two days and left feeling like I had more questions than answers. The doctor was unable to give us the explanations we were asking for, and the diagnostic process felt extremely slow. We waited what felt like forever for results, and ultimately, we still did not have a clear answer about why my tortoise wasn't eating or what was actually wrong with him. What made the experience even more frustrating was that despite spending such a significant amount of money, I felt like the focus was on recommending additional services and costs rather than giving us meaningful answers. I understand that veterinary medicine, especially exotic animal medicine, can be complicated and that not every case has an immediate diagnosis. But when a client spends over $1,000 in two days, they should at least leave with clear communication, a reasonable explanation of the findings, and an understanding of what happens next. Instead, I left frustrated, disappointed, and still searching for answers about my tortoise. Very disappointing experience. Based on my experience, I would not return.

We adopted our two other birds from local fosters and non-profits. After texting the number of the organization, I was immediately in touch with Marie, sweetest person-ever! We coordinated a date and time to come by and see the available cockatiels ready for adoption. I brought my partner and daughter along. As we got a review of the birds, Marie's hyacinth macaw Howard came over to greet us. Such a handsome, boy! We landed in adopting out a young male cockatiel (likely to be 1 year old due to the pearls still visible in his feathers) named "Patrick". He'd been saved from the elements, rescued after being dropped from the sky by a crow. Marie helped get him back in tip top shape, provided me the labs for his current health state (healthy!) and his DNA sexed paperwork. I appreciated the level of care and service Marie provided. She was professional, detailed, and super accommodating. I really loved her level of attention to understanding each and every bird's quirks, preferences, and history. Before we left, Marie provided a bit of food, snacks, and helped us pick a few perches and toys that "Patrick" would be happy with from his current cage. I was very grateful to be able to donate towards the foundation through Venmo. They also do cash or check, or Zelle. The feel the contribution/donation fee is minuscule compared to the value you give back to new member(s) of your flock. I understand only time will heal him from the trauma of his ordeal. We hope the love, care, and patience, our family can provide him with the right environment to help him heal at his own pace. If you're ever looking to adopt a bird in need, look no further than Fine Feathered Friends. Marie is wonderful and so dedicated, and it shows!

We had to awkwardly maneuver and wait around while they were getting tables and chairs set up and then we didn't get started til 645 which is pretty bad when your event is advertised as starting at 6. It was nice to walk around to see and pet the cats but that was not the primary point of the visit. What made this a pretty poor experience was the instructor and lack of organization. I've been to other paint events and you usually know what the inspo is ahead of time and the paint palette is provided with all the colors and right amounts you would need. They passed around the inspo pic and we had to wait while it was going around the room to take a picture and then we had to go up front to pick our own colors. The brushes were so overused and limp, floppy, and just in bad shape. The instructor said maybe 3 sentences to say she was going to outline the cat but there was no guidance whatsoever around how to shade, how to outline, how to do anything. It was not beginner friendly whatsoever and I think most of us were literally just winging it. The instructor also did not walk around the room or offer any assistance, feedback or help. I could tell some others were over painting and just got up to play with the cats. The concept is great but execution kind of failed. I'm sure they're not a trained paint instructor and maybe an employer or volunteer who likes to paint but that doesn't make for a good experience. We expected to have direction and instruction to paint. So essentially we paid $40 to be around cats and maybe $5-$10 worth of materials. Definitely would not recommend this event.

I was especially nervous because the previous groomer had told me that Lilo was aggressive and had supposedly charged at three different groomers. This was extremely difficult for me to believe because Lilo has never been aggressive toward people or other dogs. She has been groomed before without any issues, so hearing this was concerning, shocking and upsetting. Thankfully, Hilda completely put my mind at ease. She was calm, patient, professional, and clearly very comfortable handling dogs. She treated Lilo with such care and confidence, and most importantly, Lilo did amazing with her! Hilda was able to complete all of the grooming services we had originally planned, and there were no issues whatsoever. Seeing how well Lilo did with Hilda was such a relief and made me even more grateful that I was able to find Puppy Fades. I truly appreciate Hilda taking Lilo in on such short notice and giving her such a positive experience. She was wonderful with Lilo, and I could tell that she genuinely cared about making her comfortable. We will absolutely be coming back to Hilda at Puppy Fades! Review for self service bathing…read more I made an appointment online thinking there was only one station available. Upon arriving, turns out there was about 5 self serve stations. If you aren't able to make an appointment, it's first come first serve. The pricing is dependent on weight of your dog. As a first timer, the front desk person was nice and helpful. Staff were also kind and showed us the ropes. One thing to note is that conditioner is not readily available (only shampoo) so be sure to ask for conditioner if you need it. Self service station basics include shampoo, two towels, a few combs, and a blow dryer. Water pressure is good and has a hose attachment so you can change the nozzle settings. The water temperature was warm and the blow dryer was warm. I wish the blow dryer had the attachment to focus the air so my dog could get dryer faster but not too bad. Will definitely be back for self serve bathing and maybe try out grooming.

I asked for a BATH prior to pick up. They gave her a bath but also CUT her hair. I am VERY particular about her grooming. It was a horrible cut. Hopefully it will grow back. How dare they cut her hair without my permission? I asked to speak to the owner in an email....never again were my emails returned. At that point I contacted American Express and had to dispute my charge! I suggest checking out Glassdoor.com. Unfortunately I saw the comments after this disaster.

Everyone on the team speaks to the dogs in a calm, soothing, gentle voice. I tell all my friends that it reminds me of a day spa for dogs. I can tell my little guy has so much fun here because he eagerly races inside and when I arrive to pick up him at the end of his stay he doesn't frantically leap into my arms like when he's finished at the vet - he is happy to see me but makes it clear that he's not quite ready to go LOL. We've used these services: *The Shab Cab: Super helpful. Kind, compassionate pickups from our home and rides home (this helped when we were inundated with my husband's surgery and didn't have a spare person available to drive him) *Overnight Boarding: Amazing. They sent me lots of photos every day and were super conscientious about following his routine. I can't speak highly enough about the kindness, professionalism, patience, and compassion of this team. They all clearly love animals and I'm so happy and grateful. I also appreciate that they offer exciting and innovative services such as anesthesia-free dental cleanings (which we plan to try soon) and the extended hours for Super Bowl Sunday. Forever fans! My dogs used to go to I dig my dog, but I stopped after an incident wherein my dogs had been peed on and attacked by a larger dog. I think any place that you choose is fine so long as the staff and the place resonates with you; for me, Dogtopia is that place. I absolutely love Dogtopia! Every month they provide you with a calendar of events, and you can take themed photographs of your dogs or do arts and crafts. My only complaint is that sometimes I feel like I am overcharged for the photographs, considering my dogs are in the photo together. However, the fact that they take the time and effort to do these projects with the dogs is so cute and appreciated. The boys also love going and every time we drive by, or pull up to the driveway they get really excited. I have left them overnight a couple of times and I have had no issues. Dogtopia provides kibble for them, and they also cook food for the dogs. Or you have the option of bringing your own food for them. I also really love that they provide you with a little report card whenever the dogs get boarded. There is an app so you can schedule when you want your dog to come in, and you can schedule grooming or spa appointments. There was an incident once where my dog had his nail cut a little too much and was bleeding. Dogtopia did let me know, and I appreciated that they took the time to remedy the situation. I was even offered a free day of daycare because of having to take my dog to the vetveterinarian. I feel like they really care about my dogs, and they know their names as soon as my boys arrive in. They are also aware of who is picking them up and who is on your emergency contact list. Whenever my dogs have had any issues, I get phone calls. For example, Kennedy did have a seizure and I was immediately called. There was also a time where one of my dogs had a large hematoma, and Dogtopia did a good job at making sure that his wrapping stayed intact. It was nice to be able to have Carmichael still go to daycare, even though he was in medical treatment. The staff is really friendly and for the most part they do a good job at making sure everything stays clean. I love getting the weekly newsletters, but my favorite is getting photographs of my dogs. If only they provided more photos! Plus, I love watching my dogs on camera.

He absolutely loves the canine coaches and the fun, welcoming atmosphere. What I appreciate most is the structured and supervised environment..it gives me peace of mind knowing Finn is not only safe but also engaged throughout the day. The live webcams are such a great feature, and I love being able to check in on him during work. The entire team is caring, professional, and trustworthy. It means so much to have a reliable place where I know Finn is happy, safe, and well cared for. I'm truly thankful for Dogtopia East Pasadena and the wonderful staff who treat Finn like one of their own. Special thanks to Makayla, Matt and Destiny who are absolute superstars! I highly recommend Dogtopia to anyone looking for a daycare that goes above and beyond for both dogs and their humans!

I booked an appointment before an unexpected three-day stay in the hospital. My husband came home…read moreto hand our dog off to this groomer. He told her that I was in the hospital for pregnancy complications. About 15 minutes into the groom, the groomer calls me in the hospital instead of my husband at home to berate me about how awful my dog is because he wasn't that bad a year ago. She knew I was in the hospital because she said congratulations on the baby. My dog is senile and has dementia; of course he has changed since the last time she groomed him a year ago. She should have ended the groom right then and there, and I told her she could just stop the groom. We would have still paid her, as we are understanding people. When I arrived home from my hospital stay less than an hour after she was done with him, my dog couldn't stand up straight. His legs kept splaying out on the floor or he would fall over. He repeatedly walked into our bedroom wall. He then peed all over the carpet and he couldn't eat his dinner. He was unable to keep his head up. This was not what I wanted to come home to after a three-day stay in the hospital. I texted to ask if my dog had been drugged or injured because this behavior is very odd for him. The groomer called me to again tell me how awful my dog is, tell me she did not drug him, and that he must have "tired himself out." Then she said he was so awful that she had to "hold him down to groom him." I told her she should not have done that and should have been professional, said she couldn't groom him and return him to us. I actually thought she ruined what little time I have left with my senior dog. I thought I'd have to put him down. The next day he woke up alert, able to stand, and he was able to eat again so the effect of whatever she did to him must have worn off. I would never use this grooming company. I do think they drugged my dog (Benadryl???). If you look at their google reviews, you will see another review that mentions possible drugging.
