Our family stopped for a late lunch on a Tuesday afternoon. The place was pretty empty and a nice (but quiet) young lady took our order. A few groups came in during our visit for pizza or ice cream. The pizza the kids and I shared was nice and hot. I was impressed by the crust - bubbly and crispy on the outside and chewy inside. The picky kid got an alfredo pasta (sauce separate) from the kids' menu and it looked like the typical sauce from a jar, but he enjoyed dipping his noodles into it. My wife was pleased to find a gluten-free crust offering. She said it was good, but had no previous experience with which to compare. Overall, good experience, good lunch. Decor was random but interesting antiques. No service beyond bringing the food to the table. read more

We had the Roy's Special Combo, minus the pineapple (because that's a ridiculous topping for pizza). It was tasty. My compliments to Roy. I saw pasta, and ice cream but didn't sample either because the pizza was so good. I would have given a fifth star for a bigger TV on the wall chairs made of a sturdier material than plastic. Better than good pizza. Thin crust. Loaded with toppings. Sauce and cheese paired wonderfully. This is pizza the way it used to be in the 80's, before Little Caesars hot-and-ready movement killed pizza. Very well crafted. read more

The day before we had to fly back to Dallas our friend went to Roy's pizza to get us something to eat for dinner. He got the Roy's Combo 10" witch is there version of a supreme pizza. We each had two slices each and were stuffed and didn't finish eating this. The next morning we had to rush to catch our plane and so I stuffed one of the pizzas in my mouth but we still had a few left over. To this day I wish I could go back in time and finish eating that pizza. read more
