    Chicken Shawarma Plate

This was like the best kept secret in the area! It was so nice and food was so good. I'm going to be making this one of my regular spots

Initially when I came here last year we endured a bit of lacking service and I see since then they've replaced their staff which is great because customer service is very nice here now!! We ordered: - Hookah - $20 I don't smoke hookah but I heard it's one of the best packed hookahs and worth it - Chicken shawarma on top of hummus - $12 This was delicious, the dish is not too big nor small and it comes with (2) pitas. The chicken was perfectly flavored and loved how it was just roughly chopped into tiny pieces. The hummus is super creamy and perfect, touch of garlicky goodness. - Steel pot of tea - $10 Sits on top of a tea light warmer with small glasses, sugar, honey upon request, we chose black mint tea. This was good tea and enjoyable with the dish. I think it was Turkish style tea. I had a backlog of stuff to do at work so I brought my laptop to work a bit and they have outlets everywhere for usb ports and regular plugs. I'd absolutely come here on a weekday to eat and work The ambiance is not club-like if that's of any worry, it's very family oriented/homely we saw some cute kids around. Outdoor seating is fun too Some things to mention/upgrades business could make would be to have curtains or more privacy in the booths if possible. Also there is a rule for not seating 2 or less people in a booth, a single person or couple would have to sit in the middle of the room at a table or couch area if available leaving no privacy at all. As someone mentioned there is a service charge fee yet I can understand how a place like this would incorporate it to help leverage the business especially when most don't consider tipping all the time. All in all, will definitely be back and appreciate this business for being a great late night spot with all the variety of food they have to offer!

I had forgotten how much I love this place! Food is always good. Comfortable seating, wifi and good parking. The staff is responsive, but not quick. It will take some time for you to get your order. This is a place for a laid back chill, positive vibe. Have time, come prepared to work, get cozy with a date or have good convo with your group. I've been here several times over the last 1-2 years and have never been disappointed. People do come to smoke hookah so that is something to be mindful of.

Rozana has been like a second home to me. I have been going here every single weekend. Mr. Thaer Alaraaj and his wife Monica are always very welcoming, the staff members are very sweet as well. One of the great things about this place is the Hookah because it is only $18 unlike most other hookah places in ATL where I have to pay $30 or up. They also don't charge for coal change and you can ask for a change as many times as you like. They have been having Happy Hour every single day from 12pm-8pm where the hookah is only $12. That's one of the best deals ever! Food: You can taste the freshness in every dish, its always very reasonable and delicious. My favorite is the mixed grill platter for one, it comes with some skewers, rice, salad, pita bread, garlic sauce and hot sauce and cost about $19. Even though it is for one, we usually split it between 2 people because there is lots of food! Their shawarma, gyro, philly cheese and the other wraps are really good and filling too! Don't let the hookah, music, lighting fool you into thinking that it's like a club- it has both restaurant and lounge vibe. I go here with family during the day time because they eat halal food and I feel like they have one of the best options for it. This place used to be loud on the weekends but now Monica makes sure that it is comfortable for all the customers, also, they are super nice so if it ever gets too loud, you can just request them to turn the music down. Parking: Lots of free parking right in front of the restaurant. Reservation: Usually not needed but if you have a large party then it is recommended. FYI: I just heard that they are bringing PUMPKIN SPICED HOT CHOCOLATE for the FALL season. They will be giving out samples this weekend and you can also order it if you like the taste. I am very excited about it! I hope you guys enjoy here as much as I do and please support this family business because they work very hard.

This review is for takeout only, so we didn't get to experience the hookah. I called in my order at 8:00 pm on a Friday night and it was ready in less than 20 minutes. Everyone was really friendly. Full disclosure: I got the Chicken Shawarma Wrap, Falafel Pita, and Baklava for free as part of a Yelp Elite event. Here's what we got: - Hummos ($6): Average. With the store-bought pita, I don't think it's anything special. - Kibbeh Ball ($2.50): Tasty, but I don't feel the need to order again. - Chicken Shawarma Wrap (normally $7 + $2 for fries): Fine. The fries weren't seasoned well. - Falafel Pita (normally $7 + $2 for fries): I actually ordered the Gyro Pita, but they gave me falafel instead. Disappointed. I even ordered a side of 1 falafel ball ($0.85) so I could try it, but obviously didn't need to since they gave me a whole pita of it. It was just okay. Again, fries were just meh. - Baklava (normally $3): Good! Not the best I've had, but it was the best part of the meal. Plenty of parking. Outside seating. Lots of seating inside. Mood lighting inside. No alcohol. Serve food until 12/12:30 am. Overall, the prices are pretty fair, but the food is really average.

Gotta admit, the sauce (garlic?) was good.

"You are going to like it!" That's what she said! First and last time here. Tbh, im here because it was this or mcdonnalds and im tired of eating cardboard so... i got a $15 chicken shwarma wrap and oh man... fries were cold af! I have never had fries this cold in mcdonnalds! Wow!!! Then it comes the actual wrap. Man $15 bux for this (god forgive me!) good tasting and warm chicken? Man idk :-( I rather risk it and spend $3.49 in mcdonnalds and get the 6 nuggets and double cheeseburger, and worst case, I only spent $4 It sux that shalimar is closed at 11pm Friday.

They had included a lot of fries and food much appreciated about how much fries they gave however for the plate I wish they had added some other sauces such as harissa it seemed a little just thrown together it was good a lot of salad but I believe if the chicken was a bit juicer it would've been a bit better. Honestly the plate could feed two people

Came here for a Yelp event and was pleasantly surprised. It's a pretty huge spot and there are cozy spots for private seating if you're looking to sit with friends for hookah. For the Yelp event we tried the chicken shawarma wrap with fries along with the baklava. The chicken shawarma was very tasty, compared to some others I've tried in the area. It's very flavorful. We also enjoyed the baklava as a nice sweet treat to end the meal.

One of my favorite spots. I often find myself here relaxing over some hookah. Tons of hookah flavors to mix and match. If you do not smoke no problem, come here for the food. They have a delicious selection of food. Wraps, kabob platters, appetizers and desserts. Everything is made fresh and you can taste the goodness. The food here is halal which is a big plus. As far as drinks go, they have some really refreshing smoothies and drinks. They do not serve alcohol. Good place to hangout with friends. People are super friendly and the environment is great. Give this place a shot. Carpe Diem good people.

Yesterday I had the pleasure of checking out Rozana restaurant and lounge. I was excited to know the restaurants offer hookah. Though it is a restaurant the seating's are more sections like as if you're actually in a lounge, definitely a place I'll want to come back to with a group of friends. The staff were very friendly and checked in on me often. The ambiance was nice with almost dim lighting and soft music playing in the background. I ordered the chicken kabob plate which comes with chicken marinated with spices, rice and salad. My order also came with tzatziki sauce which is a mixture of full fat Greek yogurt, cucumber, and garlic. Overall I had a good experience here and will like to check it out again maybe later in the evening since they are open till 2am.

Rozana FOOD I could taste and feel the strawberries in my strawberry banana milkshake. The chicken shawarma wrap was perfect. The tortilla was crispy, the chicken was juicy, and the cheese was gooey. I'll order it without the pickles next time. This same chicken is in the chicken shawarma plate, served on rice, with a side salad. What stands out on the Fattoush salad is the bell peppers and roasted pita bread; a nice shift from croutons. I added shish kabob to the salad, which seemed like an odd combination but it works well. Like the chicken, the lamb is juicy and well seasoned. The fries are as exciting as they look. Baklava is a sweet, crispy, layered pastry with a bit of pistachio filling. Condiments are in packets for hygiene. HOOKAH Iced hookahs can be ordered at any table and start at $14, with $10 refills. Flavors are grapefruit, apple, pineapple, and house blend, and you can mix flavors. When you order a hookah each person gets their choice of Moroccan mint tea or water. I have no complaints about my server Christintio. He checked on me often, answered my questions, cleared my table as I finished each dish, and was very polite. Rozana is a middle eastern restaurant lounge who's food and atmosphere are worth a visit. The other word in the logo is Rozana in Arabic. Even with it being pretty empty at 4:30 on a Monday afternoon the vibe makes me feel that this place comes alive at night so I'll be returning on a Saturday night. The restaurant tables are in the center, loveseats around the perimeter, and four lounging sections on each side. There's no extra charge for the large sections but only large groups are seated there. The corner sections have a little more sitting room with longer couches. There are patio tables at the front door with cushioned seats. You can reserve a table online or by phone. This is not a club-style lounge. There's neither space nor music for dancing. The light, whimsical pop music is for relaxing. Think Unwritten" by Natasha Bedingfield and "Electric" by Alina Baraz. You'll see people with there shoes which is normal and expected so feel free to rest your naked feet on one of the small tables. Children are allowed at all open hours and high chairs are available. The bathroom is fairly basic. However, I love that they have more than just an excuse of a handicapped-accessible stall. It's definitely large enough for a full-sized wheelchair AND adult caretaker, and it has its own sink. The creamy moisturizing handsoap is appreciated. Outside of the bathrooms is a floor to ceiling mirror. Also greatly appreciated since the women's bathroom is packed with women trying to get to a mirror. Covid Precautions Social distancing and masks aren't enforced but some of the staff wear masks. Each table and section has a box of tissues and hand sanitizer. The table markers have a QR code for the menu if you'd like to avoid touching them.

I had a chance to visit for the Yelp Elite's event. Food: I ordered the falafel pita and salad and had a hot tea. The falafel was the best I have ever had. And I love good falafel! The salad came with a nice vinaigrette and diced tomatoes. The "hot sauce" was not my favorite because it had less spice and more of a sour taste. I feel they have a good selection for those who eat meat, vegans, and vegetarians. Atmosphere: I loved the low couches, booths, and tables. The dining room is spacious and definitely following Covid guidelines. They also have a store that they sell snacks, teas, and other items. Staff: The hostess and waiter were friendly and consistently checked on me. Overall, I enjoyed my visit. This place is far from me but worth the occasional drive for great falafel.

I went here on a date. They offer hookah and a full menu. No alcohol off any sort. My date really liked the hookah he had. It lasted long and pulled very well for like two hours straight. The food came out hot and was flavored well. We got the mixed grille for two. We wanted extra sauce initially but the service kinda took a bit long. Seems like there was just one guy waiting tables. Other than that, this was a nice new experience. I'll be back for sure.

The beef shwarma sandwich was bomb dot com. With the fries, it's simple and halal ingredients the hummus was really good.

They advertise free entry, free sections, all of which are not valid. Upon arriving we were charged a 20 cover. The overall price of the cover was reasonable in my opinion. The issue was that they had a flier advertising free entry and they did not honor it. The woman at the door explained that it was only free until 11 however the flier did not have any time limit. Once we entered the club was dead. The music was decent but was overshadowed by a blown speaker. I felt like I was in a Honda civic with an after market cd and sub install (iykyk). Because we were a large group we did get a section. The waitress was nice and attentive but was not overly informative. The club has a hard close of 2:30 even though their hours say they close at 3. At 2:30 the lights came on and they immediately started screaming for everyone to get out. The issue with this is the waitress continued letting us order food and water (bottled) up until "close". The food was brought out 10 minutes before they "closed" but that was not communicated. So at 2:30 when they are screaming for us to get out we still needed to get boxes as the food had JUST come. Also you can not leave with any open liquid. Alcohol is self explanatory but this also includes water. So the 5 dollar bottles of Fiji water she brought (they only serve bottles) at 2:28 had to be thrown out bc we opened them. The wings were crispy but way over salted. They are a good drunk food though because of the saltiness.

One thing I will say is that the payment terminal doesn't make it clear that 18% gratuity is already included and the itemized receipt doesn't automatically pop up, so it's very easy to mistakenly tip 20% on top of that. It would be nice if the server was more upfront about that in general, but she was also great, so it's not the end of the world. All in all, I truly enjoyed my time there.
