Want to try something different, unique? Go to Mashawi. You get numerous dishes of very tasty food and meats. It's definitely an experience. We will be returning.

My experience at Mashawi Mediterranean Restaurant was outstanding from the moment I booked my reservation to the moment I walked in. The staff made me feel completely at home, and the owner personally came over to welcome us. He explained that he'd be serving the full menu from appetizers to entrées -- and he delivered with genuine warmth and confidence. Food: The food was exceptional -- truly some of the best halal cuisine I've had in Atlanta. Every dish was beautifully presented and full of rich, authentic flavor. As someone who's tried countless Mediterranean, Pakistani, South Asian, and Asian halal restaurants, Mashawi still managed to stand out in a big way. Service: The service was top‑tier. Warm, attentive, and personal. The owner and staff made sure we were taken care of from start to finish, and their hospitality made the whole experience feel like visiting a second home. Ambiance: The atmosphere was inviting, comfortable, and thoughtfully curated. From the presentation of the dishes to the overall vibe of the space, everything contributed to a memorable dining experience. This was my first visit to Mashawi Mediterranean Restaurant, but definitely not my last. They've earned a loyal customer. Kudos to the entire team. ---

Wow....this place is fantastic and caught all of us by surprise on how much food you get even after the host stopped by and told us not to indulge ourselves too much of the hummus, salad, Baba Ganouj, salads even though all of them were very good. We were almost tempted to order more corn and beet salad because of the amount of fresh meat and seafood options that continuously came our way with large portions Before we knew it, we were getting full and hardly could eat anymore of the fresh lamb, beef, salmon, shrimp and chicken charbroiled options So so good We loved this place but it's not cheap.

What an experience! I went with a friend to try this restaurant, and it did not disappoint. Our only regret was we couldn't finish our meal! The ambience was nice and the service was great, from our waitress to the owners. Sami and Ameers both came by our table to talk to us, it made me feel welcome and excited to learn about their cuisine. The food was very flavorful, the meats were juicy and tender, and the falafel was one of the best I've had! I'll be back Mashawi!

Overall, the food was pretty good especially the hummus, pita bread, falafel, and the garlic sauce. The rest of the food was just fine but nothing outstanding. I noticed that it's a set menu and it's only all you can eat during dinner, not lunch (lunch is served everyday even on weekends). On the bright side, the inside felt a bit fancy and the dessert was decent.

Come hungry! We came here late on a Friday evening ready to eat. The ambiance is sooo cute, and I can definitely imagine coming here with my whole family. The food was incredible and everyone who stopped by our table was soooo nice. Shoutout to Ameer who was our server! If you like Arab / Mediterranean food, this place is for you! Mashawi is similar in concept to a Brazilian Steak House. They bring out soooo many different side dishes without you ordering something specific. If there is something specific on the menu that they haven't brought out , you can order that. Then the meats (shwarma, kofta kabobs, juicy steaks, fish, and shrimp) come one by on, sometimes on the skewers. All under one cost (45.99 for dinner). I also got the Limoo Naana drink (Lemon Mint), and it was very refreshing. I hope to try the Kunafa next time we come, but this time we were just too full Definitely recommend Mashawi and am sooo excited to add this to my list Halal restaurants in Atlanta.

A bit of serendipity lead us to this Mediterranean restaurant for the first time. While looking to take my partner to another nearby Alpharetta Mediterranean restaurant, I inadvertently got the Mansell Road address mixed up with the Mashawi. I had previously been to the other restaurant and walking into the Mashawi I freaked out because it looked totally different from the other intended destination. But my fears were soon calmed by the display of Mediterranean food laid out in front of us on the lunch dining table. Delicious! We will definitely go back to this serendipitous find.

Tried out Mashaw by Ameers in Roswell with my friend Estefani, and this was a unique and memorable experience. The concept is really cool: Lunch Set price, and they bring you rounds of different proteins and sides until you've had it all. Dinner All-you-can-eat with premium steaks and proteins. If you want more of something, just ask, and they'll bring it to you. The food was delicious -- everything had great flavor, from the chicken and beef to the rice, naan bread, salads, and veggies. The sauces were perfect, and the juices were fresh and refreshing. The restaurant itself is colorful, comfortable, and inviting. The service was excellent, and the owner took time to explain that this style is something new in the area. He was right -- I haven't had an experience quite like this before. Estefani and I both really enjoyed it. Highly recommend checking it out if you want something special and different from the usual.

Ask the Community - Mashawi Mediterranean

    Are there outdoor seating options?

When I dined there, no there wasn't any seating outdoors. The way you are being served your meal in would be difficult for that to work for the staff, not to say as warmer weather approaches, it couldn't work for the restaurant to pivot and set up…

Do they discourage having to order more food, once they bring out the food for the first time?

Don’t know the answer to your specific question. However, it was five of us (women) in attendance for lunch. Enough food was brought out to care for each individually. It was more food than we could handle. It seemed that the food just kept coming.…

What is the price for lunch?

$25 for a variety of food - lamb, chicken, salads, etc.

It's in a shopping center so there's free parking. It's right off Roswell Road so you really can't miss it even though it is kinda off in the corner but it's still easy to find . They have a little outdoor area so you can actually sit outside if you wanted to be in the element and it's actually covered as well because it's right under the awning of the building so that's an option too. You come in and it's a large shop but it's not a lot. Most of the space there is going to be seating. You can look around and they have a little market area but the market area is very small. They do have particular specific items so you can check that out while you wait for your food. You can see the menus on the board and everybody there is super friendly and they'll explain anything to you. We had a pretty good short conversation while I waited. Love the customer service . Hummus - I tried the hummus and it was okay. Nothing crazy about it and it was just regular and not like it was roasted red pepper or garlic or anything like that but it was decent . Chicken shawarma wrap - the wrap was pretty good. It wasn't great but it was pretty good. It had a lot of color to it, meaning they were seasoning it for sure, but the flavor was only okay. The flavor was not popping out of your mouth but it was a decent but subtle flavor. It was super tender! Chicken kabob - the kebab plate came with two skewers and rice with a salad and it came with some garlic sauce as well. I think that the kebab was better than the shawarma to me. It had the same char flavor but mixed with the rice and the garlic sauce, it took it up another notch as well. You got a lot of it though so it wasn't like you only got two pieces of meat per skewer and a small handful of rice. You got a bed of rice so it was really good. The salad was low quality but I really didn't care about that because I didn't come for salad lol. Overall you paid maybe like $12 or $14 for this. It wasn't bad for a full plate . All in all it was a pretty decent experience. They're very customer-oriented and customer-friendly so you go in there, you will be fine. They'll take care of you

We had 4 adults and one 3 year old. We got out for something in the neighborhood of of $240. Ordering is ala carte: we had 3 meats, 3 sides, drinks. We had a very small bit left over. Decor was excellent. A beautiful entryway, muted lighting, muted noise. Service was attentive, friendly, and very helpful. While I'd love to return regularly, price makes that impossible, but it was definitely worth this visit. It will be up for consideration next time we have something big to celebrate.

As a longtime San Francisco Bay Area foodie, I've been spoiled by incredible international food and…read morebold, complex flavors, so I'm always excited when I find a restaurant that delivers that same sense of discovery. Delbar absolutely does. The food here stands on its own--layered, interesting and incredibly delicious. I had been looking forward to dinner at Delbar Old Milton for two reasons: a long-overdue dinner with an old colleague and a serious craving for Middle Eastern food. After battling Atlanta-area traffic from Marietta--it took nearly an hour for what should have been about a 30-minute drive--I was ready to settle in, catch up and EAT. I'd previously been to Delbar in Inman Park with a group and loved it, so expectations were high. Old Milton did not disappoint. The restaurant itself is gorgeous. Warm, sophisticated and beautifully designed, with a Persian rug welcoming you along the entrance and complimentary valet parking--a huge plus. The young valet team was impressively polished and efficient. I started with a Paper Plane, apparently my new financially irresponsible cocktail habit. Delicious, but these things are expensive! I blame the Italian liqueur. Two cocktails pushed north of $40, so perhaps I need a more economical signature drink. Then came the food. We started with the beet carpaccio: red beets, whipped feta, burnt honey, sour orange, pistachio and almond dukkha. Beautifully balanced--earthy, creamy, sweet, tart and nutty all at once. I let my dinner companion take over ordering from there, which proved to be an excellent decision. The Bandari Olovieh was the surprise of the evening: saffron-marinated smoked salmon with cream cheese, dill, chives, jalapeño purée, potatoes, Aleppo pepper, urfa, hot sauce, fried capers and cornichons, served with saffron potato chips. I'm not usually a salmon person, yet I loved this. The salmon was mild and delicate without the stronger flavor I sometimes associate with salmon or trout. And those saffron potato chips? Dangerous. I could happily eat a bowl of them. We also had the koobideh kabob, made with ground beef brisket and lamb shoulder with onion and saffron, served over taftoun with grilled pepper, tomato and sumac onions. Tender, juicy and packed with flavor. Wrapped in that bread, it was almost like the world's most delicious little Middle Eastern slider. By then, we were DONE. I had every intention of trying dessert, but there was simply no room. It was also getting late, and work was waiting for both of us the next morning. Next visit. Service throughout dinner was friendly and knowledgeable. This is a menu where good servers matter. Ours could explain the dishes and ingredients rather than simply take an order, and that added to the experience. Two small notes on the space. If Atlanta is doing its summertime furnace impression, I'd avoid tables near the doors leading to the patio. Every time they opened, a blast of hot air rolled through. Sit farther inside and enjoy the AC. And while I loved the Persian rug and overall design, the faux flowers and wisteria covering the entrance pergola weren't my favorite. Atlanta sun is brutal on anything artificial, and the rest of the restaurant is sophisticated enough that the entrance deserves something equally polished. Those are minor quibbles. The important part is this: Delbar is serving seriously delicious food in a beautiful setting with thoughtful service. If you're anywhere around Alpharetta or Roswell, make the detour. This place is not to be missed. Life is too short not to eat well. Get out there and find your next meal! Sorry, no photos;(

The spices in the rice were overpowering and my partner didn't enjoy it as much. The potatoes were extra crunchy and a bit burnt... unsure if it was overdone or on purpose. It smelled like was it cooked in coconut oil. I would say 7 out of 10 overall. The lamb neck was recommended by the waiter. It was really good, slow cooked and the meat was tender. The sauce was unremarkable. The waiter gave us a house made spicy sauce and made this dish significantly better. I would say 9/10 overall. The hummus with the pickled mushroom was amazing. It was topped off with truffle oil and I just couldn't keep my hands off of it. I would say 10/10. I just want to point out the bill had a notice that says "tips are based on check prices after taxes" was confusing and unsure why would company charge tips on top of taxes. Our waiter was amazing so we didn't mind paying the extra but it really made us wonder about the company policy.
