    Chicken Shawarma Salad

The food was good and fresh. The lady at the front counter was nice and helpful. The place looked clean and everything was wiped down.

Good food, great portions, and great price! I got the chicken shwarma bowl with rice and it was a lot of food for $12! In this economy, super good. I tried it first without any sauce and it was a bit bland, but the white sauce was a banger - it has a garlic flavoring to it, something I'm not used to having in white sauce, and I was a huge fan. The rice itself has a little bit of flavor, good enough to eat just on it's own. They give a lot of rice in proportion to your protein of choice - wish it was a bit more balanced. Would come back to try other things! Plenty of parking in the plaza lot

    Portobello Mushroom burger with hummus

Went yesterday for dinner. Very neat and clean, same layout as the previous establishment at this location (capital tacos). Very friendly staff, quick service. Food is ok. I ordered the opening special - 5 dollar gyro and fries. Way too many fries but they were not that great. Blandish. There was a little pool of oil below my gyro in the tray. Gyro meat was good, but the toppings made it a bit soggy. We also got a portobello mushroom burger with a side of hummus. Paid a 2 dollar up-charge. Hummus was again blandish - it had tomatoes on top. Didn't care for it. Burger was okay. I wish they had a choice of sauces to go with the food. Only ketchup and hot sauce in packets didn't cut it for me. Don't know if we will go back but we sure were excited to have this so close to our place. Giving 3 points for service and cleanliness.

Food was amazingly delicious, I love the fact the rice was so soft and yum, the chicken kebab was off the chain, the side the eggplant sauce was something I have never had and I am in love the taste!!! I will definitely come back here again

There are some really good dinner salads and some nice restaurants in a one mile radius of this place, quite a few and I've tried them all I challenge anyone, try the salad here and pay for it and try and some of these restaurant's around this place. You might find yourself here a LOT more.

Truly a great place with freshly made fries, delicious and large gyros. They are very friendly and while I was there, two regulars walked in and they knew their names. Plenty of space for large groups and families. I got the gyro special which was a great deal. Lots of food! I also had some baklava which was delicious.

Kabuli pillow (possibly wrong spelling) was the highlight, and best in town. In fact, it was so well prepared that we came back specifically from it. They claim to be the first and best afghani restaurant in town - and honestly this checks out. They have great starters/sharables too, best for me is always the betinjan (eggplant). I like the Mantu as well, but tbh, had much better mantu elsewhere. The highlight is the pillow. Just go there! Ambiance wise - very family friendly. Simple and quite interior, nothing fancy, great for families or parties who don't want much noise and just want to eat and enjoy a conversation. Great service as always.

The prices seemed fairly reasonable. Customer service was friendly and attentive. I opted to order the chicken kebab plate, and it was quite tasty. The portions were a bit smaller than expected, and the rice was slightly bland on flavor, but I enjoyed the chicken kebab and the garlic yogurt sauce. The cucumber salad was refreshing, and was a nice addition. The green chutney sauce was alright, but a little watery in texture. We had to eat quickly due to scheduling constraints, but they were quick with providing takeout boxes, and sauce cups to take home with our leftovers. Overall, a solid place to get some great Afghan food.

Beef aorta and beef tendon skewers were good. Size of the skewers are larger than other Chinese skewers in town. Food also came out at a decent wait time. You just have to say candied yams or candied sweet potatoes. You have to eat it and dip it in cold water because this is so hot. The server will watch you eat your first bite because he wants to make sure you dip it in the cold water first. Because it's caramelized the potatoes keep the eternal hot heat. They don't wanna be liable if you burn your tongue. The sugar does get a little hard towards the end and get stuck on the plate, but it's delicious. Honestly, if I wasn't such a foodie, I would only get the yams. The way my friend and I were fighting over who got to take the leftover yams. We ended up sharing. Haha They do have really good kebab options . I personally like the beef the most. I think it really holds the flavor really well. I will say their seasoning is more on the cumin side and not spicy at all. I want it to be both spicy and have that cumin flavor. I think I brought my own seasoning. The second time I came, because it was just not spicy. To me at least I'm slightly a spice addict. So do with that information as you will. I don't think I would order the green beans again, the flavor of the green beans was actually really good but that red sauce on top of it was not it. It was kind of like a knock off Korean gochujang paste. And it was really weird. They only put it on one side of the green beans however that played well in our favor because we liked the part without the sauce. The cucumbers were good as well, but I had to add lots of chili oil to it. Anyways, I would definitely come here if you're looking to try Chinese barbecue kebabs for the first time. They do have other food options that can fill you up so you you're not spending as much money on the kebabs. Kebabs are either per stick like the squid and sausage or they come in a group like the chicken and beef. If you do order the kebabs, eat it really fast because it tastes better when it's hot.

Be warned: Mughal doesn't offer a "mild" option. It just doesn't exist. Not every dish is fiery, but the flavors are bold and unapologetic and definitely not for the faint of heart. This is a "no frills" dining establishment. There is no fancy decor. There are no crowd-pleasing, Americanized dishes. Get your own water. Besides the people behind the counter, there is no full-service wait-staff. Their energy is spent on the food. And when we were there, brown people were certainly there en force, chowing down. I think the cooks are Pakistani. I may be wrong about that. Certainly they are Muslim, and their cooking leans decidedly in that direction. If you want to skip the rich gravies, go for the "mixed grill," a tandoori platter piled high with perfectly seasoned meats. Naan arrives hot, huge, and fluffy, while the basmati rice is consistently cooked to perfection.
