I recently contacted him again to do an electrical inspection after the home inspector found a couple of small issues in a home we purchased, and we wanted to make sure there weren't bigger hidden ones. He took a look, reassured us it wasn't anything major, and said the halogen lights across the whole house were overloading the breaker. We are in the process of having him switch all lighting in the house + install exterior lighting and have no worries nor regrets. Nshan is truly the most professional contractor I've ever worked with and is such a friendly and warm person. East West is the only company I've ever been like, we HAVE to find them again if we need more work, they are just that pleasant to work with. Always on time and very communicative. We had two lamps, but I didn't like it because you have to walk over to the lamps in the corner to turn them on in the darkness! An electrician installed a ceiling connection and wired it to a wall switch by the room entrance. I browsed the Lamps Plus website and went to the Pasadena location to see their products in person. So glad I did, I got a good look and selected the perfect ceiling fixture for my home. The sales personnel were very helpful and made recommendations, which made it easier to narrow my choices down to the final three. They have "fancy" chandeliers, LED lighting, wall scones, floor lamps, interior and exterior lighting options. I learned so much about the different styles such as a flush mount, a hanging swag light, and features such as a dimmer with different light tones from high to low. I chose a Mission Tiffany Pendant light (sounds like a necklace, lol). As I write this review, I am in the dining room with the light above me! All I have to do is flip the switch and the room glows. No place I called could give me a straight answer, but one of them recommended I reach out to Modern Lighting. They actually trialled my question on a lamp they had in house, so that I didn't have to drive to them until there was reasonable certainty they could do what I needed. They quoted me a price, and I went in the next day. Not only did they get the job done, it ended up costing less than their estimate. Very grateful to Jeff and the rest of the team that, in this day where there are few specialty experts anymore, they still exist and were super nice to boot!

I thought that people would still have their decorations up on Epiphany Sunday, but I guess not. It was just my wishful thinking. We did see one house with partial lights. The homeowner was in the process of taking down his decorations. Shucks. Maybe next time... It looks and sounds like a wonderful experience!
