It also has structural rust to the frame and needs all four tires. The car has cosmetic damages and is missing interior pieces. I notify them to let them know whats going on with their vehicle so that they can be aware. Instead, they were being extremely rude to me. First of all they were being dishonest and that enough was unacceptable. They stated in their ad that it is in amazing condition, False!!! The fact that they were being rude to me was enough. I offered to buy it at a lower price based on the horrific condition its in. But, they laughed at me and made disgusting feedbacks. Please stay away from elite motors and their sister dealership which is called Obo. Beware people! Run if you see their advertisement. Save yourself time and money and shop elsewhere.

I am based in California and purchased a 2006 Dodge Dakota SLT TRX4 with a 4.7 High Output engine in February of 2021 from SNS Auto. Communication- from start to finish Sal has been responsive, communicative and professional. He was open and honest with me regarding all issues, inspections and maintenance and very detailed when negotiating price. As a potential out-of-state customer, Sal also took the time to set up a virtual (FaceTime) to allow me the opportunity to thoroughly inspect the vehicle (as much as possible through FaceTime). It took roughly an hour and half but Sal showed me every single good and bad detail (scratches, paint condition, vehicle idle, engine compartment) about the truck and anything I asked him to show or hear he complied happily. He even crawled on his hands knees to show me the undercarriage of the vehicle for like 10 minutes while it was running so I can observe if any leaks, heavy rust, etc., etc. His level of honesty and overall communication has been amazing. Customer Service- Sal is a natural and humble servant to his customers. At no point did I ever feel uncomfortable or taken advantage of. I've worked in sales before and have had many interactions with car salesmen/saleswomen so I am quite familiar with sales techniques, language and practices. Sal is straight up and honest and sincerely wants to satisfy his clients. In some instances he went above and beyond what any sales person has ever done for me. Product- I purchased/shipped the vehicle and the price (plus shipping) was under KBB and I was satisfied. Sal worked out some magic to get me an incredible rate for shipping that was well under other estimates and shipping only took 2-3 days. (The delivery driver was also incredibly nice and communicative). Upon receiving the vehicle, it was apparent that there were many issues that were not observed during our virtual test drives. I took the car for a test drive and as mentioned, I observed some issues that I needed to address with Sal. Before I could reach out to Sal to discuss the issues, he was already calling/texting me to confirm that the vehicle had arrived and that I was satisfied. We had some lengthy conversations about the issues I observed but if you're still reading- THIS IS WHEN I WAS BLOWN AWAY WITH SAL'S EXEMPLARY CUSTOMER SERVICE- Together we investigated and addressed every issue. We even spoke to the SNS in-house mechanic to iron out details of the issues. I also took the vehicle to my personal mechanic for diagnosis and to write up estimates as needed. Sal offered to help cover some of the expenses and even found parts needed and shipped them to me. I truly believe that if I lived closer to SNS auto, Sal and his team would have addressed all the issues for me but because I am an out-of-state buyer he worked with me in EVERY WAY POSSIBLE to make sure I was satisfied and that the vehicle was in the condition as advertised pre-purchase. It is important to note that I purchased the vehicle with an "AS IS WARRANTY" which typically means no warranty and the vehicle is sold as is- but Sal is a family oriented and honest professional and went the extra mile to ensure the vehicle met my standards. Overall Conclusion - it is now been about a month and half since I purchased the vehicle and I have finally completed all work needed to correct/fix issues. BUT I COULD NOT HAVE DONE IT WITHOUT SAL- He has been incredibly supportive and helpful to making sure the vehicle met my standards. As mentioned, sourcing parts and helping cover expenses while maintaining high levels of communication is more than I could have ever asked for. Some of you reading this might think that this should not be a 5 star review, but I am honestly incredibly happy and beyond impressed with Sal and SNS team for all they have done to make me a happy California client. Despite being a loyal customer who has purchased multiple vehicles from him over the years, my recent employment at the dealership has revealed a side of Darryl that goes beyond the "aww shucks," "harmless little old man" routine he employs. The narrative began when I agreed to purchase a 1982 Datsun 200SX for a project car, with a down payment of $500 and a total cost of $2000. Darryl assured me that the car had no major issues and would be up and running soon. In an effort to assist his struggling business, I offered to work for him, not only to work off some of my balance but also out of genuine concern for the chaotic conditions of his shop and office. Despite my efforts to contribute positively and make him money by selling other cars on the lot, Darryl consistently refused to apply the cash payments he gave me for my work towards my outstanding balance, providing vague assurances like "we'll take care of it later" or "don't worry about that yet; we still need to get it running." However, when it came to the small commissions he offered for selling cars to customers, I insisted on at least applying that money to my owed balance, to which he reluctantly obliged. The breaking point occurred when promised repairs to the Datsun were continually delayed, and the car remained inoperable. Despite my attempts to schedule repairs, I was met with vague promises that never materialized. This led me to explore the option of finding a buyer for the Datsun who was better equipped for the project. When I informed Darryl about potential buyers willing to purchase the Datsun for up to $2500, his demeanor shifted. Suddenly, he claimed that the repairs needed were extensive, suggesting I take a different car and transfer the credit towards it. Agreeing to this, I opted to take a 1987 Chrysler LeBaron Coupe at his suggestion, a vehicle I had been helping him find a buyer for even before it was offered to me, as I am an active Chrysler LeBaron enthusiast and owner of a LeBaron convertible. However, the situation took a turn for the worse when, after agreeing to purchase the LeBaron, at his suggestion, Darryl deceitfully claimed he had no temporary license plates for multiple days and later changed his mind about selling me the car altogether. His objection was based on my intention to invest time and money into the car over the next year, enhance its value, restore its paint, and eventually sell it for a better price after I had some time to drive and enjoy it. This abrupt change in attitude revealed his greed and a complete lack of respect for our agreement and working relationship. Furthermore, his disrespectful remarks about African, Indian, and Asian customers or "those people" as he put it, coupled with a derogatory comment about potential "black" buyers for a Cadillac, or "boys coming up here that are just going to try to talk me down" were beyond the pale. This, combined with his manipulative behavior, left me with no choice but to reevaluate my association with University Motorsports. His refusal to take my payments for the Datsun and his attempt to renege on the LeBaron deal indicate a clear desire to monopolize potential profits over everything, even fair treatment of his own employees. He wanted to ensure that any hypothetical profit from these deals would go solely to him even thought every car he sells on his lot is bought for far less than $1000 and sold for $3 to $4,000 or more. This is about my employment and our dealings, I haven't mentioned the hiding of rust under spray paint, the high milage vehicles with leaky engines and transmissions filled with leak stopper products that will fail once you get home and he has your money. Buy with caution and plan for emergency because he believes "what they don't know won't hurt them." In our final conversation, he attempted to shift blame, claiming I hadn't even paid anything for the car and should have forced him to take the payments when he refused. However, it was evident that he never wanted me to pay for the Datsun because he would have had to fix it, and there was a chance I would have made a profit if I sold it and as a new car collector, I would have only sold it after I had a little fun in it and got to experience driving it, filmed and photographed it for my records. In conclusion, Darryl's actions have exposed a level of greed and manipulation that I never anticipated. I worked diligently for the dealership, only to be treated as competition rather than a valued employee. This cautionary tale serves as a warning to anyone considering employment or business dealings with University Motorsports. Exercise extreme caution and be aware of the unethical practices that may tarnish your experience with this establishment.

Here are the facts: - Brought the vehicle in on Tuesday 8/4 - it was returned on Thursday 8/6 - the odometer had 131 miles added since I dropped it off and my tank was empty. Brought it in with a little over half a tank. - The car pulled to the left when engaging my lane keep assist system, so the calibration was not done correctly. - I was told the technician had to do a lot of "testing" and had trouble getting it the stay centered in the lane. - A lane keep test should only take 5 - 10 miles, how did they rack up 131? Did they test it 15 times?? - I told TJ in the service department about the situation, he gave me a very nice MDX loaner and assured me they would fix my vehicle. TJ was honestly great. - my vehicle was returned 7 days later on 8/13, I was told their calibration machine had an issue. - I paid $3,500 for the brakes and camera service, it took them 9 days, and I have reason to believe they were joyriding my vehicle. That amount of milage for "testing" when clearly the testing never occurred. Otherwise my vehicle would have been working perfectly when it was returned the first time. Customers go to dealerships and pay higher prices because we expect the best quality, expertise, and service. I didn't receive those things, so why would I go back to the dealer and pay their prices? If you're considering Cater Acura of Lynnwood, I would reconsider. Oil changes, brake jobs, easy things are probably fine. Throw an air tag in your car.
