Stopped in here for lunch one day and this place looks like it's a great evening spot to enjoy dinner and music. They have a special lunch deal advertised outside for $6 and change (I can't remember the exact price) that sounded like a good deal to try. Unfortunately, it was a tiny little to go "lunch box" like one of those small foil tins you put leftovers from your meal and that for sure wasn't going to be enough for my meal. I asked if I could get a regular size and the woman at the register accommodated that request and I just paid the difference. I feel like this "lunch box" might be an issue for others so it would be a good idea to have the container by the register so that people who order can see the actual size of what they are ordering so they don't have an issue after it's packed like me. I had the brown stew chicken, rice and peas, plantains and steamed cabbage. The chicken was seasoned well and cooked nice and tender falling off the bone. The plantains I feel we're sliced very thin and only got 2 of them so the part they were in the container looked almost empty which I'm used to larger cut plantains that fill the cup. The cabbage and rice and beans were good, I'd definitely come back again to dine in and update this review accordingly.

The food is okay, but the customer service is HORRIBLE. Unfortunately it isn't many solid options to choose from in the area when it comes to authentic Caribbean.

When traveling for work, I'm always nervous about where I'll eat. Decided to give this place a shot because I was t expecting to see it. So glad I did! Everyone can't do oxtail. I've had overly saucy, greasy, huge bones and little meat, and overly seasoned and oily cabbage! Gross! This oxtail tho . I ordered a large with little rice n peas and cabbage and a side of plantain. The oxtail is mostly meat. More than I can eat!!! Seasoned just right (maybe slightly too salty- but barely). Rice is great with just the right amount of extra "gravy" to season the rice. Cabbage is cabbage. They didnt try to do too much to it, and I love it! Plantains enjoyable as well! The cucumber ginger drink is too sweet. Syrupy. But loved everything else! And the staff was friendly and service was quick! Thanks!! Go there!

Man, I was hoping for more. I got the jerk chicken sandwich, which looked great, but fell short on the taste and quality. It's Salisbury, the chicken capital of Delmarva. My cut was a bit grisly, tough, but not dry. The jerk flavor was just an example of what it should have been, it was barely noticeable. I noticed it was occupied by locals who apparently knew what to order. I do not dismiss this establishment, and will give them another try in the future.

Easy location, very clean inside. We ordered the lunch special, spicy jerk wings & fries. We also ordered the other lunch special jerk chicken with rice & peas, cabbage, and fried plantains. The jerk wings definitely brought the heat, overall good flavor but a little dry. The jerk chicken was a thigh and drumstick, very moist and flavorful, but not hot. Rice, cabbage and plantains were very good. Service was friendly, and our order was ready fast. If they would only smoke the chicken it would taste so much better, I could taste the Jamaican seasoning but it lacked smoke flavor for jerk chicken. We would return to try other dishes.
