This place came as a recommendation. I ended up not being a fan of it after I left. I don't normally take my truck through these type of car washes, but my fiances car was a mess after the recent long distance relocation with a dog inside. So, I decided to treat her car well. I ended up choosing the basic wash package which still came out to over $25. The process went fairly quick. The day before I signed up through their website for VIP discounts and was immediately emailed a link for coupons. Those coupons happened to show an expiration date of 12/31/2019 .. yes, its now almost 12/2020. I showed them to the cashier as I was paying and his response was "I don't know who sends those out, but we can't accept them." .. Well, its coming from your website/email operator. Kind of a bunch of crap if you ask me. It was supposed to have an air freshener sprayed during the service, but when I got in to leave the interior smelled like B.O. Yuck. They also didn't completely clean the windows and mirrors. As I was leaving, one of the workers started yelling at me because I didn't shut my door all the way. Back off bro. I have been going to this place for over twenty years, I like to go early so I can be the first one out. I usually get there about 7:15 with my coffee and doughnut and newspaper. So I go there Monday morning and there is a chain saying closed. I assumed their was a problem and that's why the chain. So I came home and called latter that morning to find out that the owner doesn't want cars on the property. That would mean waiting out on federal Highway and take the chance of being rear ended, no way. Begrudgingly went here because our favorite car wash was closed for the day. Went here last year and was disappointed. And surprise! Once again I was disappointed! I was very surprised when they said my car was ready because it had only been like 5 minutes. The outside was...meh. The inside??? Disaster. I asked and paid for an outside wash, inside vacuum and wipe down. I have a 3 year old and the inside needed some help. Um...it doesn't even look like they did ANYTHING inside! I'm sure they do a wonderful wash, but i asked for my carpets and seats cleaned and shampoo'd. Greeters insisted on the miraculous $149 interior detail. But the outside still had black spots of dirt on my white car. I ask the guy for a rag, he yells at me that i did not get a wax. I said just give me a rag, he keeps on going with no wax. I get it English is his second language, but maybe if you guys just inspected the outside of my car i wouldn't have to ask him for a rag, or a towel as he put it. This place used to be one of my favorite car washes. Then GREED set In and they decided to offer unlimited car wash packages. Of course everyone now thinks they have to wash their car everyday so the waiting lines are outrageous! The management is in denial of how bad the wait is not to mention the quality has gone down. I've lived in Delray Beach since 2014 and this is my first visit to Rub-A-Dub. All I can say is what a terrible job they did! I paid $25.77 and when I got home had to redo my front window because it was so cloudy and streaky. My rims were not touched except what the machine did, and that was fair, so I also had to redo them. And they never vacuumed the rear rugs nor around the front rugs. I didn't check the car there (it's HOT as hell, so poor guys working the place) but when I got home I noticed multiple issues; 1/ the center console was not wiped down, 2/ the back truck was clearly still dirty 3/ infront of the tires at the back had multiple dark specs 3/ the black molding running along the bottom of the car at the base of the doors was still water marked 4/ the black molding by the trunk was water marked All in all, for the amount of money, the value is simply just not there. I've tried this place twice and twice my car was cleaned half assed. Not worth the money at all.

The package deal is reasonable. BUT #1 : As others have said car still has spots after wash (hood) and they don't (as far as I know) treat the rims (spray them down or use soft brush to agitate and loosen dirt(like other car washes I've been to) before sending the car through the machine. So my rims were still really dirty in crevices when it came out. Door sills on 2 doors also not really wiped down well as well the back of one seat. They focus on a decent vacuum only. The guys/girls near exit tire shine and clean windows (but sills where you exit car and back of car seats not wiped down). Lucky my car is newish and only one 10 year old making very little mess) BUT #2 : I have have the super scrub package (which is 2nd highest) The one below is called scrub and tire shine. The shine part is fine but the scrub part is grossly misleading as in wheel/rims don't come out clean. MY ADVICE to this place buy some good rim foam cleanser/meguiars spray or other and have someone also responsible for hitting all 4 rims with a soft non abrasive brush. I will probably cancel completely or switch membership to lowest one just for sake of a quick cheap car wash. read more

Went here for the first time as I'm staying in the area for about a month. I live in the Boy ton area and usually go to Motor City (called something else now) and hate it. I went here and my first impression was a little slow since they do the vacuuming of the cars before the car wash. However, everyone was SO SUPER NICE that it made up for the wait. Which in all actuality the wait was probably the same at any other car wash. My car looked amazing afterwards also. The fact that everyone was so super nice really made the place stand out. Every time I go I have to point out the spots on my car, dirt that was missed, that they don't wipe down the dash, vacuum well and to top it off - every time they do not clean my chrome wheels well at all! *** I also mention the things I need them to do because the last time they didn't do a good job before it goes through the wash. I was spending $60 a month for a premium car cleaning package and I have to tell them they need to do all these things which is their job - in the contract. It's not worth it. It goes on deaf ears. I have been a customer here for the last six years and have noticed progressively worse service. I had a confrontation today with the gentleman working on my car who proceeded to scold me because I waited too long to bring it in for the alloy wheels to be cleaned properly. I paid for the dash and interior to be polished and ended up doing it myself when I got home. The door guards next to the carpets were left filthy and I had to scrub them myself when I got home. My suggestion to the ownership would be to assign one person to do final QC to see what the customer will see when they drive off. I just left this car wash. I paid for the best car wash with glow inside and out. It was "on sale for 32.99". When I picked up my car from them the first thing I noticed when I walked in was the rugs were dirty. The guy came over with a small hand vac and vacuumed got in the car again. Got out and told the gentleman nobody even touched the center consul it was filthy he got in and cleaned it. I hate having to give this establishment three stars- but I feel it is more than fair. I have had my car washed here three times and while I have been somewhat satisfied with the wash, there is definitely room for improvement. During one visit I had to wait about four minutes for the lady behind the counter to ring me up because she was text messaging on her phone with someone, she was visually stressed and I do understand that life doesn't stand still for work, but there is a time and place to deal with personal matters. I stood at the counter and patiently waited for her to finish- she looked up and said "I will be with you shortly" ..um...ok...let me just twiddle my thumbs for a bit...a few minutes later she emerged from her cell phone and rang me up. I have water marks on my car and really needed them erased. One of the gentlemen said that if I got the $60 clay treatment it would erase the water marks- yes! Well, after they finished with my car the water marks were still there! I was very annoyed and frustrated because that was the only reason why I came! I spoke to one of the employees and he said that he wasn't sure why it didn't work. Well, if it wasn't a sure thing then why did I fork up $60 for the process if I couldn't avoided it and just paid for a normal priced wash? I would have visited another car wash if that was the case. Good car wash but the hours are wrong online so when you show up at 8:30 AM expect you to wait for a half hour until they open at 9 AM and when I mention it to the guy he's rude about it and says he doesn't have yelp or Google and he can't change it.
