Love this as an alternative to washing my dog at home. For only $24 they provide everything you need for a good clean. I'm talking apron to protect yourself, brushes, shampoo, conditioner, blow dryer and treats to keep your pup happy. They also have a returning customer deal where buy 10 washes and get the 11th free. If you don't want to do it yourself you can book an appointment for them to wash your doggy and they also offer nail trimming services. I only found out about this place on a bus ride to work. I booked an appointment to wash my dog (note online it says 15 minutes but it's for booking purposes - the actual wash gives you 1 hour of time). Staff are super friendly and will answer any question you have however naive they may be. Everything was included - regular shampoo and conditioner, de-shedding shampoo and conditioner, various combing tools, extra towels, happy hoodies (to protect ears from the air blower), and aprons. They also offer a full service package (bath, nails, gland) where price varies with dog size - for my 50 pound dog, they quoted around $55. read more

Carrie and team have always been exceptional with her and I never forgot that. Fast forward to my recent adoption, Kiwi. She's working through some past demons and is a bit fearful of new people, so when I started searching for a self-service bath (someone else working with her isn't an option yet), I considered those in my area but remembered how much I loved Rub-A-Dub Dog and team before, so we made the trek up and it didn't disappoint. Both of the (new to me) staff members we engaged with today were accepting of Kiwi's fearful response and helped put her at ease with low pressure, friendly engagement. Great place to wash your dog instead of doing it at your home. However, there is room for improvement on the staffs end. The last two times I've been having issues with the nail trimming. They do a super sloppy job with the clip. Also, every time I ask them to buff the nails they never do it. The staff acts so scary when they cut my dogs nails. Like how can you be scared of dogs when you work with them. This does not live up to the stress free environment, there staff makes a simple task super stressful. Why am I holding my dog for you to trim his nails? I've never done that at any other pet groomer. read more

The staff members were kind and patient when I brought my 10 year old, 85 lb dog in for the first time. They ground his nails down so quickly despite my dog's squirming. I also used the self serve bathing facilities and it was so nice to be able to wash, condition and dry my dog at eye level. Did you know the rinse allows the loose hair to come out more effectively? I love this place, and there aren't many like it. I live in Hillman City, but I made the trek up north to be able to do a self-service dog wash. The facility is clean and easy to use, the tubs for washing the dog are raised, making it so easy to wash the dog. The fee of $22, includes the use of the facility, shampoo, conditioner and dryer. The staff is friendly, there are free treats for your dog at each station and at the register, it was just awesome, and I would go back in a heartbeat. I didn't take pics because baths aren't the dog's favorite, and I was trying to be as expedient as possible for him. The place also has a couple of parking spots on the side street right past the building. It's helpful in this neighborhood! read more

I will definitely be coming back here. The staff is so friendly, they have all the supplies you'll need to groom your dog. I went in for a self service appointment. I called and asked about their availability and was able to book in for an hour later. SO HELPFUL. I was going to Hawaii the next day so I really needed that. You'll walk in, they ask if you've been there, then give you a tour while explaining how everything works. You have an hour to clean your dog (if you need more time I'm sure you could just make two reservations back to back). The best part, it's only $22!! I usually spend $90-$120 on a groomer for all these services. My bank account is very happy rn. They have: - nail clippers - a variety of brushes - oatmeal shampoo & conditioner - lots of other all natural brands as well - specialty shampoos for sensitive skin - oral spray - ear solution - Dematting brushes - blow dryer with different settings - ear covers in case your dog doesn't like the blow dryer sound - a band to keep your dog in the bathtub while you wash it - aprons to keep you dry - dog treats - towels, lots of towels - lukewarm water (which was so much nicer than the typical hose) I definitely recommend binge watching some YouTube videos on how to clean your dog breed, it helped me so much. read more
