Very nice staff and I did come in an hour before close, but I went there to take a tire off one rim then put it on another but they didn't have the proper size tool to take my tire off. I just think as a tire shop you should be prepared for any and every tire. I was told they couldn't take it off because of a "wheel lock" that's not even there. I took my car into Ruben's Tires Longwood location on 1/11/22 I asked them to find out what was causing my check engine, VCS, And Tire Lights to come on. They told me I needed aan alignment, tire rotation and an oil sensor switch. I asked is that the reason my lights on my dash qare coming on the lady at the front said yes, I said ok fix it. That did not fix the issue I took it back on 1/13 they changed the oil sensor switch a second time I took it back on 1/14 they then started saying it must be electrical and they would charge me another $280.00 to fix it I had already paid them $430.00 to fix the issue and let me add that my oil light is now on it was NOT on before I took my car into themm. 1/17/2022 I spoke with the owner who had already spoken to the employees and had absolutely no interest in what I had to say, he stated that what they fixed had nothing to do with the check engine light coming on but what they reccommend I have done LOL. I asked that they find out and fix what was causing my lights to come on not what EXTRA reccommend I have done, SMH. Hector stated that if I bought the car back in he would do an electrical inspection at the discounted rate of $50.00, LOL.... I already paid $430.00 for them to find out what was causing my lights to come, now they want to charge me again for what I already paid for... Please!!!! If your value your car do NOT take it to Ruben's Tires. Oh!!! Did I mention that Hector blaimed my 2010 Toyota Corrolla, for his shop's unethical business practices... Dont ever go here. Spent 2 hours waiting for 4 tires to be mounted (me being the only customer there as well) when they returned with my car, they scratched the hell out of two of my wheels... They chipped off large patches of powder coating on the faces of the wheels and danced around the fact that it was their fault.. the manager attempted to "touch up" the wheels with paint thinking that was the appropriate solution when they still look like shit. Now i have to pay 400$ to have them re powder coated... after everything, the only "compesation" offered was a reduced price on an alignment! this place is an absolute joke... if you care about your car in any way... dont go here. read more

With less than three months left on my car lease my husband and I drove to Orlando only to find the next day that we had a flat tire. We didn't want to pay $240 plus service charges to replace the tire, let alone be told that we'd have to replace more than one tire to keep even due to wear on the other tire. Family members we were staying with recommended a used tire from Ruben's Tires. I called Ruben's Tires and they said they had an entire container in the size tire I needed so, while they were too busy to check, they thought they would have the tire I needed. My husband drove over to find exactly the brand and model tire that we needed to replace the flat - for $45! It still has half life, which matched perfectly with my other tires. Our car was towed to Ruben's Tires. The tow man said he takes cars to Ruben's all the time. We called to confirm that the car had arrived at Ruben's and they told us the car would be ready in two hours. When my husband showed up the car was ready to go with our new tire. Better yet, it's been a week and the tire has been doing great, even through the drive back to Miami. I definitely recommend considering buying a used tire from Ruben's Tires if you have a leased car that will be returned soon. read more

The service here is horrible. I waited two hours just for my car to go back for a oil change. The rude lady at the front desk told me a hour in a half into my wait that my car was next and shouldn't be any longer. I waited almost another hour before my car even went back. The lady at the front desk is always m.I.a in the back with workers watching over their shoulders. Will not be back!! They need to better. This company price gouges people and does substandard work, had to take my car to Firestone to fix the front end "alignment" they put on my wife's car. The TOW was out over 2 degrees on both front tires, causing the car to dart towards the middle of the road when you let off the gas or hit the breaks. Hector refused to return my money even though I have a computer print out of the condition his guys left my car in. NEVER GO HERE! They are dishonest and overpriced, plus the do bad work! read more

They were closing, on their way out and were hesitant, but saw I was in need so they decided to change for me. They happen to also have my size in stock, which was luck of the draw! Changed and balanced the tire with a new one for $40! I was very happy...anytime I can give l my business to Rueben's (Orlando or 2 Longword locations) I will! Great service!!! Hector cleared up a bad, stressful situation for me during the holidays. Tires plus in lake mary had lied to me about the condition of my tires, which rubens tires had sold me 3 months prior. I was so mad when I arrived at Rubens tires after being told that (and not buying the tires Tires Plus wanted me to buy) but Hector explained to me that Tires plus was trying to take advantage of me and that even though my tires were in not the best condition due to bad alignment.. they were not in the "dangerous" condition Tires Plus in Lake Mary had claimed. He replaced the tires and aligned them at no additional cost. He took me to the area where they were working on my car and showed me everything and made me feel at ease. I spoke to Hector and was extremely impressed with his knowledge, recommendation and especially the deal he proposed. TL;DR: If you must do business with this company, protect yourself. DO NOT PAY WITH CASH OR CHECK. If you do and there is a problem or dispute after they receive payment, good luck trying to get them to take your calls/rectify the situation. After having my vehicle for over a month to diagnose - with two failed attempts - as to what was wrong with it, I was told that only the purchase and installation of a new fuse box would guarantee that my vehicle would function properly. After being told that Rubens Tires would purchase the part from the dealer - to be inclusive of the manufacturer's warranty - and install for an agreed upon price, they proceeded to "fix" my vehicle. When they were finished I was called to say that it was ready for pick up with a balance due. After payment and upon receipt of the keys for my vehicle, as soon as I turned it on, I noticed that the front turn signals and hazards were not working. This makes my vehicle useless as it is not safe/legal to operate with these components malfunctioning. The vehicle was not left at their shop in this condition and I did not expect to pick it up that way. As only the receptionist was present at the time, I did as she suggested and left with my vehicle. Before leaving, I was told that a manager/owner would contact me the following day. I did not hear from anyone even after repeated calls from my end. I called the shop and was able to speak with them to inform that work on my vehicle repair was not complete as the installed part was causing a malfunction with the front turn signals and hazard lights. The manager/owner asked that I bring our car back to them on December 17, 2016, so that they could fix the error. I called and spoke with the owner/manager again on December 16, 2016, to verify that my car would be fixed the day I brought it in - as they had already had possession of the vehicle for over a month and I could not afford to leave it there any longer. I left my car with Ruben's Tires - again - first thing on December 17, 2016. I informed the receptionist that I would be returning for the car before Ruben's Tires closed that day. When I returned to pick up my vehicle, it was exactly where I had left it, unmoved. I was given a diagnosis of, "front turn signals and hazards were not working" - the information I gave when I dropped it off. When I asked the staff what was going to be done about it, I was told that I should expect a call from the owner/manager first thing on December 19, 2016. No calls made to me or returned by them. It was only after receipt of my certified letter to their attention stating my intent to dispute services/parts provided with my credit card company that I was contacted by the owner/manager. No longer wishing to do business with Ruben's Tires - the time to diagnose and fix coupled with lack of communication made us lose confidence in their ability - , I asked for the receipt of the fuse box as it is needed in order to prove/enforce the warranty on the part with manufacturer and dealer. The owner/manager refused. He stated that he does not have to provide receipts to me or to any clients. That receipts are his property and he will not relinquish it, effectively holding me hostage to only doing business with them regarding the part. Maybe this is because they did not replace my part with a brand new one with warranty, as I was told would be done, and perhaps they replaced it with a used one? They cannot prove it because they will not provide me with a copy of the receipt. Also, when I asked for the old parts to be returned to me, they stated that it was most likely already disposed of. Again, if you must do business with this company, protect yourself. DO NOT PAY WITH CASH OR CHECK.
