I went there to get an oil change before embarking on a much-needed road trip, and let me tell you, it turned into an absolute NIGHTMARE! Not only did they ruin my oil pan, but they also managed to strip out the oil drain pan plug on my 2015 Chevy Cruze. Since then, I've been forced to spend a few hundred dollars on oil and various repairs, all while trying to fix this infuriating problem during my road trip. I trusted Rueben's Tire Services to take care of my vehicle, and instead, they've caused me nothing but stress, inconvenience, It's beyond frustrating to think that a simple oil change has turned into such a disaster, all because of their negligence and incompetence. I managed to stop the leaking for now with an oversized bolt , thread locker welding putty for now .. I hope it holds up on my way back to Orlando read more

stay far away my car ran perfect b4 going to them on june 1 for an oil change and now i am boned dried of oil in my engine on june 26 .... stay fay away i have videos of my damages from the new drain plug they put on my oil pan to the scriped metal drain plug omg i had to redue an oil change plus filter an replace the plug again!!! I'm a woman who lives alone here in Florida meaning I have no one to rely on but myself!!! I took my car on a Saturday to get fixed. I specifically spoke to Ruben, I told him it's my starter because my lights were coming on and so was my radio. His mechanic said it was the battery $240 later... Here comes today...my car won't start at all. I call his shop, I speak to Ellie. She sends out a tow truck. I explain to her I'm not paying for this because my car isn't starting. We're going back and forth. I call Ruben, all he can tell me is his mechanic said it's my battery. my car isn't starting 2 days later and all he can offer me is a free diagnostic test. This is absolutely the worst mechanic I've ever know in Florida. It's funny how Ruben said he wasn't paying the tow guy. Its funny how Ruben got mad because they fucked up my car. This isn't fair. First off super friendly! However your time is not valued, I was told my car would be ready on Saturday then no call so I called to check on it and was told Monday. Thankfully I was off Monday and could organize to get it. Then Monday no call and it's noon. I call and told it will be ready at 2pm, I arrive at 1:55 and told it's not and twenty more minutes. I am now waiting the twenty minutes. Let's see if 20 minutes means 20 minutes. Prices are reasonable as well however the time management and lack of communication is a little annoying. read more

Woke this morning to go to a doctor's appointment, lo and behold, I had a flat. I only had a donut in the trunk for a spare so I needed a full size tire. Ruben's was recommended to me by a neighbor. They have my size tire used for $45 for a new one for $89.99 and they would balance all four tires. I thought this was a pretty good deal so I came on up. They took my car in right away. Everyone, here is super professional and extremely helpful. I would recommend to anyone that needs an entire or work done to come here. I believe they have several locations. I already referred you guys to my other family members cause the prices cannot be beat. Universal Nissan was charging me $160 per axle to install brakes that I'm supplying. Rubens charged me a total of $140 for the front brakes to be replaced & they gave me their brakes. So I saved a total of $180 today. If you are in a pinch on funds about getting 4 new tires, an alternative is buying a used tire or 2. Granted, it's probably not the safest, but beggars can't be choosers right? I had an unfortunate incident that required me buying a used tire from this location because I curved my tire near Lake Eola on Sunday. They have Sunday hours too. Them brick roads and narrow lanes next to the concrete shoulders make it a challenge at times. Came here and told them what size I needed. Parking is minimal. It's located off of 436 between 408 and 50. Not the cleanest place as you would expect but very knowledgeable and friendly staff. They even let you see the actual tire before you decide to put it on your car. The wait time wasn't that long. Maybe 45 or less. They have multiple locations throughout Orlando. If ever in need of a used tire or service on your car, give this place a shot. You won't be disappointed. read more

First off I will start out by saying that I live about 35 minutes and will always go to Ruben's mechanic because the service they provide is unmatched. I've been scammed by numerous mechanics and not once have I felt off-put by Ruben's prices. They truly are the sweetest family and always make sure that you leave happy with your car. They always make sure that the price is reasonable and never try to scam you with adding "extra prices" or coming back to tell you that something is broke when it's not. They offered me a service using their computer which never completed the work but they offered a new service (parts replacement) wanted to charge me 4 times above the cost at any AutoZone, at the end they still charged me the work not done . In bad need of a tire replacement, I pulled in here because it was close. From looks of building and premises I was a little worried. (Note lots of other options nearby) Needless to say as soon as I parked my car a young mechanic immediately greeted me and assesed the problem. It was this guy that really made the experience good. Quick tire change for a new one, went to checkout and manager didnt understand Yelp check in coupon. Regardless she applied discount. Pulling out I noticed the air pressure light still on, I aproached same mechanic and he gladly checked it out. Outside of the looks I feel I got a fair price for service and the mechanic really put me at ease. Not a fancy place, but I'd come here again... one note, better here if you speak Spanish (I understand mostly) my partner had an alternator changed here and although latino doesn't speak Spanish and told me that was one aspect (them aproaching in Spanish) that made it uncomfortable. Went here to get my TPMS fixed on Saturday 4/10/21. I was told to put down a $50 deposit and come back in the morning of Wednesday 4/14/21 when the new TPMS will come for my vehicle. After patiently waiting for three hours, I inquired at their front desk how much longer will I need to wait, only to be told that the TPMS inspection was done long before and they ordered the wrong TPMS product. I kindly asked for a refund of my $50 deposit only to receive $25 cash back. My time was wasted, my experience was ruined, I never received my full refund and I will not come back. read more

The experience I had with them was very uncaring of there costumers they are money hungry and looking for the fast way to do the job they skip minor details that could potentially be life hazardous to you while driving your vehicle I had to come back because they failed to replace all parts and woke up for work with my vehicle not running. So not only was it expensive compared to near shops, it took/cost even more to have to get it back to them to fix the problem. Lady at the front desk was rude from the first time we came in and even worse when I had to come back! Terrible feeling. I would suggest sparing yourself the time, money and energy. Ruben's never disappoints. Needed to get the headlights on my Altima replaced due to dim lights at night. I bought the headlights online and stopped by Rubens to see if they could do the work to switch them out. They were able to help me on the spot. Switched my headlights out in less than an hour at a very reasonable price. I was so relieved that I can finally drive my car at night again without having to worry about not being able to see. Wonderful service! I called precious to coming in, needed 2 tires for my Ford Edge and was thrilled to hear they had preowned $40/tire and they had 2 matching avail. Once looking at the tire they were "like new" and pricing went up a bit. Was fine with $120 our the door with all taxes, fees and taking such nice care of me. The owner, Ruben, was there at the front desk taking care of customers and very friendly! They all speak perfect English although the staff is Spanish. I was really happy and saved me over $150. I recently had over $1000 in repairs on my car and was very bummed out when another issue arose with my car. This time the window regulator broke and my window was stuck halfway rolled down. Living in FL, during the summer, this is a nightmare. I did not want my car washed away and I certainly didn't want to have another repair. However, when do these things ever happen in a desirable time? At 4PM on a Saturday, our usual repair shop was closed as were many others. My wife took the lead in trying to find a shop/mechanic. She was able to find Ruben's with many positive reviews and called them immediately. The person on the phone told us to come in and they would see what they could do as they are only open until 6PM. We were greeted and our car was seen almost immediately. Thankfully it was not an extensive repair and they were able to get the parts and fix the issue in about an hour.
