I had my road test here and was really happy I did. The lady was very professional yet personable and her price was cheaper than others I had called. I believe she judged me fairly as well - I passed easily and she even had some suggestions to improve my driving further. All in all it was a very pleasant experience. Horrible! ZERO STARS~ This female tester was rude and bossy. I was quite while she discussed the test with my child, her instructions are vague and when my child asked her to clarify she replied a snippy answer that implied he was an idiot for asking. I have two degrees and I didnt understand what she wanted!! Needless to say she failed him for inching out (after he came to a complete stop BEFORE the sidewalk) to see so he could make his turn. This lady is so unprofessional that she took off her seat belt while the car was still moving!! Umm isnt that a state law? click it or ticket it DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY-SHE WILL FAIL YOU SO YOU HAVE TO COME BACK AND RETEST! GO SOME PLACE ELSE! read more

Yesterday my daughter went here to take a driving test,only they moved to DEQUINDER RD BETWEEN 12 AND 13 MILE rd. Behind a church. The woman MARY who was the instructor was EXTREMELY UNKIND , rude, unclear how to back up . She would stand in the area where My daughter was supposed to back up in, cones on each side, now vision this instead of telling her to back up straight and into the area she would stay there and with both hands up directing her "back" like a man,would be flagging in an airplane. .... my daughter did a great job!! But the problem was she didn't back up STRAIGHT BACK THEN PULL IT IN THE CONES like she needed to. But because the woman was a brick short of a full load!!!my daughter did as "flaged" and backed up directly to her. The woman failed her. Do not go there. read more

I called a big name road testing service and much to my son's disappointment, the next available date for testing was a month away. Rubino's had immediate availability, and he took his road test two days later. She had an all business demeanor and seemed very concerned that we might not show up. She called earlier in the day to confirm and again 20 minutes before our appointment to ask if we were coming and when we planned to arrive. We were there 10 minutes early. Maybe they get a lot of no shows. It was a thorough test and was slightly less expensive than other places. He passed! Warning, one more novice driver on the road! read more

I'm guessing the people not ready for the test and failed wrote the bad reviews. I found Mary Lynn (the tester) to be VERY professional and obviously experienced. Her instructions were concise and rehearsed. Yes my daughter failed the first time, but with good reason. Passed the second time and Mary Lynn's evaluation and suggestions afterward were dead-on. This is the type of driver tester I want to keep new drivers off the road if they are not ready. Communication setting up the appointment over the phone was pleasant and helped us be prepared when we showed up for the appointment. read more

I just completed my driving test at Rubino's Road Testing, that was a horrible choice. My instructor was rude, strict, and failed me because in her opinion I made a mistake, but even after I was informed of my mistake neither me nor my parent saw I did anything wrong. Her instructions almost caused me to get into an accident. I am pretty sure she failed me just so i can go back and take it again. Please do not take your test here, you will regret it. I was displeased when my daughter said that there was a $20 fee for being late. We got stuck at the bank and again in traffic. The tester was kind enough to waive the fee when we called to say we would be a fee min late (8 min). The tester did not point out things to be aware of before we arrived and had a taillight out and wouldn't let her take the test. She of course charged my daughter $20 and said to reschedule! My daughter works for her money and I felt this was out of bounds. The state should regulate those who are administering tests to prevent price gouging! read more

!! STAY AWAY !! If you are an experienced driver and know all the rules only then you might have a chance of passing the test. If you just learnt driving and trying to appear for the road test then forget about passing the test. The first hit is when you see the lady. Just by looking at her face you will get scared to death. No smile and no intention of making you comfortable. All the instructions are correct but too much strict. There might be few good reviews but they might be better drivers. Don't get carried away and take the test from this center. As other reviews stated, she will mark you for very very minor issues. If all the driving road test inspectors are like this and there will be very few cars on the road. SAVE MONEY and choose someone else. I got carried away and booked my appointment just because it was close to my home but as I said, don't take a chance. read more
