Rubi's Flower Shop is amazing, I contacted them at the last minute for my aunt's funeral service, after another flower shop failed to deliver my floral arrangement before the viewing of her service. I spoke with Javier who took my order over the phone and upon listening to my concerns was able to put together a beautiful arrangement and delivered them in time for the service which was the next day in the morning. Now I live in Victorville and Rubi's is in Compton I need to add. Javier is very professional, knowledgeable, and was very concerned about my needs in fact he was very attentive to all my needs and resolve a stressful situation with kindness. Placed an online order for a dozen blue roses the day after Valentine's Day. Beautiful arrangement, and the woman i spoke to was so nice. She was excited i ordered from her shop which means a lot to a customer in my opinion. I loved them and so did my partner. May 10 comes around I call to make sure my order was confirmed the lady answers and say I didn't put a time frame for my delivery which is bs because the website doesn't ask what time! Any ways the lady on the phone said it will be delivered around 4pm I'm waiting around to surprise my mom and then I get a call at 7:30pm from Pedro and he tells me my order won't be delivered due to them not being able to get the flowers from downtown LA the day before!? It doesn't seem to process in my head that a flower shop isn't ready for a such special day for everyone!!! And then I get an email stating that my order was delivered!!! My husband ordered a beautiful looking bouquet of roses online for Mother's Day for his mother..... The worst decision he could have made! He wanted to surprise his mother and make her feel special on her special day. Unfortunately the flowers were NEVER DELIVERED to her. I figured because of COVID-19, they were extremely busy. I called his mom the next day, and asked if she liked her flowers. With a sad crying voice she said "What flowers?" It was the most heartbreaking thing to hear that he couldn't make her day as special as he imagined. We ordered flowers for Mother's Day (05/10/2020). The flowers did not arrive all day. It is 8 pm and the flowers have not arrived. I am disappointed by the fact that we wanted to provide our mother with a small gesture to show our appreciation towards her. I expected better services, and am not impressed at all. Do not recommend unless you want to be left waiting all day for something that will not arrive. To add, we have been calling all day and no response.
