I received flowers from Bev's today and they are gorgeous. It was a bit of a trial, unfortunately for the lovely delivery driver who was out in a torrential downpour delivering flowers. I was home but in meetings doing work things so didn't hear him come to the door and missed his calls. I returned the call and he came in like 5 min. The bouquet is gorgeous, and I sent a picture to my mom, who sent them and lives in Washington so just hopes whatever she ordered me online is okay, more or less, and she was super pleased at how nice it was. My viewpoint now is if someone asks me if I know a local florist I will 100% recommend this business. The bouquet is beautiful. There wasn't a huge interaction as far as customer service but it was all very nice. And mostly revolved around my not knowing someone was at the door and missing calls so I appreciated that they were still very lovely. read more

WOW what can I say. I needed balloon for my daughters baby shower held at CSDH. The balloons was a last minute decision, so of course I needed to find a florist close by that can deliver early Saturday morning. After placing calls to some of the so call we can deliver but no we can't, I called Bev's Balloons & Flowers located in Compton, a short distance from the campus. I spoke with Bev the owner she assured me that she would be able to deliver the balloons on time in the colors I requested. Needless to say she did. I usually buy from 1800-flowers but this time I decided to try a neighborhood shop. Big mistake on my part. I phoned in an order to be delivered to my wife's job for our anniversary. I spoke with Brenda, who was very nice and she assured me that they would be there by 5 pm the following day on our anniversary. I get home from the office expecting my wife to thank me for the flowers and she said nothing, I ask her did she receive the flowers and she said no. I call bev's and leave a message. They call me back the following day, un-apologetic and ask, what do you want to do about your order Sir.
