This is a great meat market. Local meat, beautifully cut. They make some of their own deli meats and are worth a drive. They have a bit of everything and a very friendly and helpful staff. I've gotten tritip, beef bacon, and a plethora of their deli meats and cheeses and everything has been wonderful. The prices are very good. Worth a trip to Ironton did good steaks. read more

My brother called this place a "Meat Disneyland". He was astounded by the selection and quality. We had their regular bacon, their beef bacon (kind of weird,if you ask me ), their pepper bacon, and he was enamored by all of those so much he had to go back and buy some to take back to Texas with him. He also got us a couple of ribeye steaks, that, in his words, were the best he had ever eaten, and he's eaten a lot of steaks. We also bought some bags of peanut brittle made by the local church ladies. It was absolutely fantastic stuff. If you are anywhere near Ironton/Arcadia, you really have to stop in and get something! read more

Rubles is definitely worth the drive!! I try to stock up when I go. Rubles has wonderful cuts of pork and beef, along with chicken and frozen seafood. They make their own brats and beef jerky. The jerky is SO GOOD. On Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, they also have smoked ribs and chicken. I have had the ribs and they are delicious. Rubles also has lunch meat and cheese. The farmer's cheese, smoked cheddar, and garlic cheese are my favorites. The fried turkey lunch meat is good, and I always have to buy a container of ham salad. Rubles staff members are great, too. They will cut meat to what you want. I had a friend who wanted thicker steaks (they have great steaks!) and the owner went straight to the back and had them cut for her. They will wrap the meat to what your prefer, too, such as 5 pounds of ground beef in one lb packages. Rubles also processes deer! I would recommend Rubles to anyone, hands down. When my family visits, we make a trip to get some good steaks to cook and drive through the beautiful Arcadia Valley. read more
