Unfortunately, I wouldn't recommend. I really wanted to love this place based on all the great reviews. My nails looked really pretty when they were first done. But for the price I paid, I expected them to last. I got a hard gel full set two weeks ago and almost all of my nails have cracked or broken. My pinky nail was also completely crooked and I told the nail tech but she just filed it and said it looked fine?? Currently, 7 nails have cracked so if I go back (or anywhere else) I'd be paying for a whole new set not just the fill. The pricing felt very excessive. I was charged for every small add-on - hard gel full set: $65, tip added: $10, almond shape: $10, french on a few nails: $10, polka dot design: $25. So, $115 for nails that didn't even last 2 weeks sucks. read more

Here today! I keep telling the collective, they sleeping on the Yelp App! I arrived into this State and I let Yelp be my guide to find a nail salon, boom Ruby Nails had a solid 5 stars! I called to schedule an appointment because I wanted the person who did the work on their site! As I'm waiting on my Uber, my coworker decided she wanted a pedicure. We arrive and there was no wait, however they did not plan on her only me. There was only 1 tech and lo and behold it was the owner Ruby herself, HOLD UP this meeting was fated because the last nail salon I visited in Houston was named Ruby! I've learned, nothing happens by coincidence. Because they had not planned on my coworker tagging along, there was only Ruby. Shoots I wanted art on my nails and because I wanted to respect her time, I choose to keep it simple. Ruby and her husband was VERY nice, the shop was clean, neat and cute. Apple decorations everywhere. As Ruby and I chit chatted, I learned she had recently took over the shop and it was called Apple Nails, some time between then and now and my post Yelp fixed the name. As I looked over her shop, I loved the vide...Buddha Peacefull! I got a kick outta seeing her automatic trash can and "the good candy " she offered. Ok, let me get to the point! Ruby had a sweet attitude even though I brought along my coworker, they didn't turn us away. I showed her a picture of the design I wanted and immediately she looked at the picture then the condition of my nails and boom fair deal. By the way Ruby did my nails I could tell doing nails was her passion and she was great at her craft. She pulled my cuticles back, grinded under my nails, cracked my fingers so she could get the shaping perfect. I learned that I was lucky I got her because she's popular in these parts. Ruby agreed to do a simple pedicure for me which I wanted because my feet had to look good first the 4th of July here in Boston. I'm going to put myself out of my misery and travel cross town just for her services, I want fancy nails next time. Here today! Most definitely will return tomorrow! read more

Ruby nails is AMAZING! I went in today for a mani/pedi. The place so clean, charming and well organized. The pedicure was THE BEST pedicure I've ever had. Ruby did an outstanding job on my nails, I wanted something themed for Thanksgiving/cold weather and the sweater design she did for me is perfect in every way. Everyone was so nice and friendly! I already booked my next appointment. My daughter went to this salon to get her nails done. they did a terrible job. I have pictures. she brought in a picture of what she wanted. She s was getting a full set. They came out looking live big uneven chunky Chic-lets. She paid with her own money and came home crying. I told her that I would have demanded that they fix them before I ever walked out. she was with her Dad and didn't know what to do. So I am n ow booking her an appointment at my nail salon to have those horrendous nails removed immediately and then getting what she wanted. don't waste your money. She said,"They had a 4 star review ". I said always look at pictures of their work before letting anyone touch you. They should be ashamed that they let her walk out like that. i feel that they took advantage of her because she's a teenager. read more
