This is one of the dirtiest restaurants I've eaten at this year. Our waiter wore his mask under his chin, brushed his fingers under his nose (and didn't wash his hands). Salad bar plates were iffy, restaurant floor was sticky, and a glimpse of the kitchen floor was really scary. Margaritas were ghastly. Food pretty greasy. The salad bar was OK. We dined here on a Saturday night, which can be busy. Tonight was no exception, however the wait was only about 5 minutes. The wait staff was excellent, especially Shammon (?sp) & Kelly. And the food? I had a new item, Chicken Bella, which was sooo delicious. My friend ordered the New York Strip steak, which was cooked to perfection. We came here for Mother's Day; a change of pace and something different. For our party of three we had about a five minute wait; no big deal and pretty awesome for how busy they were. The salad bar was awesome as usual. My husband and Mother-in-Law had the hickory glazed salmon, and the few bites I had were delicious; cooked to perfection with a little bit of a kick. My ribeye was ordered medium rare and came to the table well done. Very well done. I informed our waitress that it was too overcooked and she looked at it like I was color blind...and immune to the fact my steak looked like a package of gas station beef jerky...and it was paper thin. Ten or so minutes later, a new steak arrived: Medium Rare, juicy, incredible, and completely satisfied my steak craving. Yum. Well worth sending it back. read more

We finally found vegetarian friendly food at Ruby Tuesday, so we've eaten there twice. On the first night my daughter had chicken with mushrooms and a side of baked potato and grilled zucchini. She loved it! I ate the baked ravioli. On our second trip she had hickory chicken with green beans and french fries. I was starving. I ate the cheddar and broccoli soup, the Carolina salad with no meat, and french fries. I tried to eat it all, it was so delicious. If you eat healthy foods or just love a good salad and you stop by Dickson, you have to try Ruby Tuesday. read more

I'm from Birmingham and we don't have many Ruby tuesdays. I enjoyed the garden bar the most. Was understaffed so the service was slow. I sat at the bar and it took ten mins to get a drink. Bartender was really nice considering she was making drinks and had tables. read more

I took my family to Ruby Tuesday for Fathers Day. My Dad likes his burger "rare", like barely placed on the grill. It came to the table perfect. I had chicken tenders and salad bar. My mom and sister can't eat much due to having surgeries, so they were able to order something they could eat. My son and grandson both were finally full. Excellent food and service. The service was excellent - our server, Jeremy, was very friendly, fast, and pointed out a special that saved us money. We never had to wait or try to get his attention. As for the food, the tilapia and petite sirloin surprised us greatly, in a good way. Amazing salad bar - well stocked, fresh with a multitude of choices. Paired with blackened tilapia, dirty rice and greens. All delicious! Greens cooked perfectly, not mushy, tasty little dab of bacon-vinegar relish. Just enough not too much. Couldn't finish my meal after the huge salad experience. I have eaten at many of the Ruby Tuesday Restaurants in Tennessee and I have to say that the Dickson, TN location is the worst as far as service goes. I cannot comment on the food because we were never waited on. We were seated and given our refreshment by the Host and we were told that the waitress would be along in in a few minutes. We waited patiently for 20 minutes and watched as the waitress took the orders of a table that came in about 10 minutes after us. When the waitress completely ignored our table my husband became agitated and we left. This is one Ruby Tuesday that we will never recommend to anyone. read more

I had an excellent dining experience at Ruby Tuesday this evening. They have a wonderful new Three Course Meal that looked great . Their salad bar has greatly improved , I think it's one of the best around. In addition, I had the Fresco Chicken with grilled zucchini and it was fabulous. To top it off , a chocolate cake topped with ice cream, whipped cream, and crushed Oreo's , it was out of this world. My server, Cheryl was great. Her service and professionalism were outstanding and she had a very warm and friendly personality. Great food and even better service is a winner every time. I'll return soon. read more

I have been stopping by here for years and only hope that they can learn to prep a salad bar again. Not a fan of the new menu or the extra cost cutting processes this location utilizes. Balsamic vinaigrette without Balsamic = Italian dressing. No croutons because "we're out" at 12:15 on a Sunday? Greens on the bar: glad there was an empty bin as I sorted through them and was able to toss the old brown or turning pieces. I was excited when I read another review on the salad bar here. When I visited it was less than fresh. The pasta and ham salad looked like it had been sitting out a while. Not many choices on anything. Lettuce was browned on the edges. The ham on the salad bar was sitting in water or its juice? Looked very gross. My vegetable soup tasted greasy and out of a can. I did try a bite of my fiancé's ribs, they were good. Atmosphere was decent and quite. I think a servers boyfriend was hanging out, not doing anything wrong but was walking in and out of the back. One of our favorite chain restaurants.. and this one was up to our standards. Fresh salad, clean, clean bathrooms.. Cecilia was our server and she was sweet and efficent. Tea was great.. and they had no probablem with special request order. No problem using coupon code from my smart phone. This is our favorite place to get salad bar. Dressings taste homemade, the bacon bits are real and fresh and the croutons are wonderful. Pleasant staff, nice atmosphere and great food. Will definitely continue to eat at Ruby Tuesday. read more

I'm not a chain restaurant person, however, we went with a group of people while in TN for a wedding. I was extremely impressed. The restaurant was very clean and updated. The salad bar was full of fresh items and very clean. We had 10 in our group and our server did a great job. We all had drinks from the bar, ordered appetizers and entrees. She kept up with all of it. The food was delicious. Chicken was cooked perfectly - perfectly! Everything came out hot. The manager visited our table to advise my husband that his burger was overcooked so they would have a new one out shortly....minutes later the burger came out and it was exactly the way he ordered. I was impressed they noticed the burger was overcooked and didn't even bring it to the table. Awesome job, RT. I worked at a RT in St. Louis while attending college. It's one of the few places I worked that I will actually still eat at - that says a lot. :) read more

I've been here a few times, and I've never been disappointed with the service. There is always someone at the door to great you with a smile on their face. It's a very friendly atmosphere, and the salad bar is always fresh and stoked. Our waitresses have always been very friendly and never pushed specials on us. Also never had to wait for refills. I only wish the food was a little better. I usually enjoy my sides more than the entree. The burgers just never taste quite right, but that's not saying it's inedible. It's still decent food and the service makes up for what it's lacking. read more

We ordered two steaks for carry out. They were done to perfection, and the sides were delicious. The staff was very friendly and we were served quickly. We came here last Saturday night, and we had a slight wait. We only waited 10 minutes before we were seated. The waitress was adequate but not the best. I ordered the baked ravioli. It was not that impressive. The sauce did not have much taste, and the spinach was bunched together in the center of the plate. We were seated about 7:30 on a Monday evening. My wife ordered a bowl of soup and asked for bread with it. Twenty minutes later (the place was far from busy) her soup was delivered cold and with no bread. She ate the soup anyway while I continued to wait for my meal. After another 10-15 minutes our waiter finally wandered by and said he'd check on my meal. My meal was finally brought out a full 35 minutes after we ordered. I refused the meal and asked for a check for our two drinks and the cold soup. I did receive an apology and the drinks and soup were comped, but I was still without a dinner. read more

This restaurant has a wonderful fresh salad bar, I made 2 trips. Our waitress was awful - very slow service and she seemed terribly disorganized. I had double decker chicken breast, but they were out of baked potatoes -- at 5pm on a Saturday night. The chicken was very good but, even though I requested extra sauce, I never got any. Hubbie got the fish and loved it. Took forever to get our bill and a box for leftovers. So good food, a bit pricey, and horrible service. read more
