To be completely empty at dinner time the wait was excessive. 2 separate couples walked in for dinner and were not greeted so they left and went across the parking lot to the BBQ restaurant. While all of the food clearly comes from a bag, you should never have wilted or brown lettuce on the salad bar. Drinks never refilled, nor the salad bar during our stay. Final straw was a long hair in the food. It could be better but it fell way short of expectations on food, service and cleanliness. The food and service were awful. I answered the survey and gave all of the reasons that we were disappointed and displeased. I was contacted by the manager and he offered a $25 gift certificate to come back and try them again. I waited 3 months, thinking they would get their act together We went tonight to use our $25 gift certificate and the food was just as bad, if not worse, than last time. You could close this location and put us all out of our misery!! Absolutely one of the worst restaurants I've ever been in. The waitress was nice, but it ends there. The ladies bathroom was awful, smelled like backed up sewage. I should have taken that hint. The salad bar was freezing cold...bottom of lettuce had a little ice. I know it's supposed to be a certain temperature but not freezing the veggies. Pasta salad mayo tasted old as in made two days ago, it was "gummy". We ordered two salads, a loaded baked potato and soup. It took over 20 minutes to get a lukewarm potato that had been sitting for a while and they tried to warm it up. The top of the potato was that translucent yellowish hue in color and it was hard; a clear indication that it had been sitting a long time just waiting to be reheated. The butter did not melt on my potato and the bacon bits were hard as a rock. The potato had cold spots throughout it. I watched 3 people come in a back door near the restrooms and picked up carry out orders before they put a ladle of soup in a bowl and prepared a loaded cold potato for us. I have eaten at several Ruby Tuesday's but I will not ever go to this one again. The time of day was between 12:30 pm and 1:20 pm. There were 4 tables (that I could see) that had patrons, 5 including ours. It was not busy at all. We could hear loud chatter coming from the staff....they were not busy so I expected a pipping hot potato. The soup was lukewarm. There were a handful of tables that hadn't been bussed, sticky tables, flies. The salad bar glass was discolored and not pleasant. Got seated in a section with very load music coming from a busted speaker that was cracking and making a buzzing noise. I wanted a miller lite draft, server comes back with "we don't have that" and then I said okay bud or Coors is fine took her over 5 minutes to come back and say they had no draft beers. So I took a bottle, took her a good five mins to get that my guest came and the waitress came to our table right after they sat down and asked them if they were ready to order. I said they just got here can you take their drink order and come back so she did. We waited 10-15 minutes and she never came with their drinks so i paid for my beer and left. This was an utterly disappointing experience. Food was below average and the meat was tough and chewy. The service was terrible! Our waitress tried to seat us at a dirty table and then when we said we would like a booth, she looked at a dirty two person booth and said that she could clean that for us (we had a party of 4 there's no way we would've fit into a two person booth AND there are four person booths at the front of the restaurant.) the hostess and our waitress both seemed like they didn't know what they were doing and that if they could get away with doing nothing, they would. Now at the end of the meal when we had asked for cake slices to go the waitress came walking out with the bag swinging on her finger and had the cake containers all upside down and sideways. The Ambiance sucked. The booths were sticky, so many tables were dirty, there were rips on the lamp shades, and the salad bar looked like a disaster. I try to stay away from chains, but sometimes the people you dine with have their preference. We hit up Ruby Tuesday on a Friday night. Our waitress was very pleasant. I had the bourbon steak. That was tasty, just like the mashed potatoes that came with it. Our group ordered the mozzarella sticks, and those were all devoured. The kids' sliders were rather burnt and dry. I think they could have been more moist yet still cooked thoroughly. Overall, no one had any issues with the food. I would have preferred the restaurant to be cleaner and better lot overall. It was on the darker side and I could see food on the floor and in the seat crevices. You notice more things with a toddler and her wandering hands. I'm glad to be able to say that my recent experience here is much different from most of these reviews. My husband and I stopped in here yesterday {a Wednesday afternoon} and we were greeted, seated, had drinks ordered and menus given to us to look over within just a very few minutes. We decided to have some stuffed mushrooms as an appetizer, and they were very good and flavorful. Then we ordered a triple combo of BBQ ribs, a ribeye steak and some fried shrimp with a baked potato as a side. It was all well prepared, served piping hot and was plenty for us to share. The salad bar looked good, and had a lot of different options available, but we didn't have that. Maybe next time. Our waiter, Fred, was very pleasant, friendly, and attentive to what we might need. Our glasses stayed filled, dirty dishes were removed promptly, and we couldn't have asked for better service. Our group of four met in Henderson for Sunday lunch. RT's is about the only non fast food sit down restaurant option in this town. One of our group has changed her eating habits, and has very pleased with her vegetable plate and a trip to the newly revamped salad bar. I had the double decker chicken with the new garden bar. BTW - the new version of the salad bar is no longer a no charge 2nd side item and is an additional $1.39 charge. I believe all four members of our party enjoyed their lunch selections. I ordered the Seafood mixed grill and it took the waiter 3 times me repeating my order before he figured out that the "Seafood mixed grill" does not come with steak. Like I said the picture was actual size. The pieces of fish were so small and either they were overcooked (which they were) or just small (which they were) which resulted in toy sized portions. What was most disconcerting was it did not seem like our waiter cared. After dinner was done we were well prepared to stick around and have a few more drinks but he just dropped the check off without offering to get more drinks or even dessert... I can't even begin to describe how crappy this experience was. Arrived at 1145 on a Saturday, first people in the place. Greeted with "just two?", given no silverware, menus left at the tiny table they seated us at. Time to order. "We outta baked potatoes", followed by "we ain't got no crab dip" so we settle on salmon for me and chicken parm for my husband. I had to ask for salad dressing, accompanied by a complimentary eye roll. Entrees come, are thrown on the table, like literally thrown, and my meal consisted of a piece of salmon. Um, sides? Again, a free eye roll and mumbling under the breath when I inquired about my sides. Sides arrived almost 30 minutes after we ordered and were shoved at me like I had kicked the servers puppy. Yeah, they won't have to worry about us inconveniencing them with our silly requests or expectations of at least decent service, I'll eat at Homo-phoba-fillet before I darken those doors again. I was traveling and saw this off the exit on 12/4/2022. The sign and website stayed open at 11am on Sunday. There were employee cars there and I could see staff. At 11:15am I walked up to the door and it was locked; the salad bar appeared to not have been setup at all. I stood for a moment wondering if they had just forgotten to unlock the door.
