I am shocked by many of the low ratings here. The food is always good. Some items are kind of pricey, but if you are looking for a good deal, the daily specials are exceptional value. I get the fish sandwich and fries for $7 to go almost every Tuesday. It's huge and cheaper than McDonalds. The salad bar is excellent, a burger or chicken sandwich and AUCE salad for $10 on Thursday can't be beat. The service can be a little slow if they are crowded, but the servers are always nice. Came in for lunch with hubby while running errands. I had a coupon for buy one entree and get the second for $3.00. Hubby had the Philly cheesesteak and fries. His bogie was piled high with meet and cheese oozing goodness. No doggy bag for him. I had the Ruby cheeseburger and Cole slaw. Everything was hot and fresh and exactly how we ordered it. I am keto so I can't have the bun and they accommodated that. Beth (the fun one) was our server. She was quick and attentive and was so patient with a much older couple behind me. They wanted the Ruby discount but they don't use smartphones so they could access their account at the restaurant. Food was ok. Smashburger and Catfish dinner. Ambience is same as last 10 years. Service was ok until end end. I got ya. Ordered a glass of wine - never got it. Ordered cheesecake to go. Paid our bill and waited over 30 minutes. We asked what was the problem. Our server told us the kitchen was busy or busy with take our orders. We were customers dining in dining room. Finally got the cheese cake. We are leaving. There are people all the way out the front door with no one to seat them. There are al least 25 to 30 empty tables. We will never return. read more

I know this location has been open for a while but umm. Dam. First you get hit in the face with musty dirty old restaurant smell. Then come the sticky table tops, and worn out cracked seats. The server was nice enough this time. Thankfully sober. But the previous 2x I went there... questionable. Now for the main course... if you could call it that. "Sticky ribs" 14.99 consisted of 5 of the smallest ribletts served luke warm on a piping hot plate... Next was my "stuffed ribeye quesadilla" sounds good right... let me tell you I've had dive bar quesadillas that were 1000 times better than the sad excuse for this thing. It barely had any ingredients in it and to say "stuffed" would be false advertising. Maybe buy stuffed... They mean full of shit... ‍ It was crispy on the top and soggy on the bottom along with another piping hot plate, which is indicative of being left in the window for a while. Even that I could forgive, but they served it with guacamole and sour cream, both of which were spoiled and very bad. Not to mention it was topped off with some really lovely brown lettuce and far past its due date pico. This was the first time I've ever had to spit out food into a napkin in a restaurant. The ribs I mentioned before did not even come with a side one small 4 ounce portion of mashed potatoes was 3.99 So for close to $20 I don't think there was 5 ounces of meat on the whole plate. Definitely not worth the cost. The entire restaurant just smelled like it has not been cleaned thoroughly in years and this remained consistent in the bathrooms, which were just as bad as any truck stop off I 10. Some of those gas stations were immaculate compared to this thing. The manager comped the quesadilla and offered dessert. But based on everything else, I did not want anything from there. Let's not forget that it took almost close to 40 minutes for the food to actually hit the table which explains the piping hot plates and lukewarm food. The shrimp was awesome, as was the sweet potato and corn. I asked for gluten free preparation, and so far, so good-no adverse reactions. The place was packed, so the service was a site slow, but not by much. Signs indicated they were hiring, so I'm sure that was an issue, especially on a Friday evening. Our waitress was always wearing a smile and responsive to out needs. This was my first restaurant experience in a long time because of my celiac disease, and it was very enjoyable. Kudos! read more

Went on a Sunday afternoon after we got out of church. Was told (very rudely) it would be 15-20 minute wait for a table of 5. We told them we would wait and that we would also be happy to take a booth, set 3 on one side 2 on the other (our teenage girls are small). Waited a full hour. Watched them set booth after booth after booth! Finally got a table. Ordered our food only for my husbands plate to never come. Waiter said another waiter took it and that they were making another plate. After waiting another 30 minutes his plate was brought. By this time the rest of us have finished our food. My husband ate his food and we left. They did remove his plate and my plate from the bill (our orders were the cheapest of all the orders). From the moment we stepped in to the moment we left we spent 2 hours and 55 minutes. It was ridiculous. read more

Horrible experience and I wasn't surprised bc I read the reviews before going there but I was just having a craving for the salad bar so I gave it a try anyways. Salad bar was decent but after my overall experience, I don't need to go back to another Ruby Tuesdays, ever. Long story short- Their signature sauce is disgusting and shouldn't be put on anything, nonetheless the new burnt tacodillas. Their service sucks and after I mentioned my disliking of my meal after one bite the server was gone and comes back 10 mins later and greets the table with "is everything ok over here?" No it's not ok I told you my meal was disgusting and you avoided me! I then get a bacon club and of course it comes with the same nasty sauce so I get it without it but I wanted tater tots and the server brings me fries and told me that I didn't tell her tater tot's and continues to argue with me. And leaves me with fries and doesn't ever try to fix the problem. The bacon was the best part of the bacon club. The bread was not toasted and soggy, the lettuce was mush...just a horrible experience and now I understand why so many locations have gone out of business. read more

In general, Ruby Tuesday is a tad on the high side of price for chain restaurants and I usually avoid it. But family loves their awesome salad bar, so we gave it a shot last night. Pros: Ambiance was nice, and my server was wonderful. Also, not many places beat that salad bar, if that's your thing. Cons: Food not cooked to order, steaks too thin. I ordered a ribeye (medium), and my wife ordered salmon. The salmon was thick and juicy, but not cooked all the way through, which she didn't expect. Meanwhile, the ribeye was a large, thin and flat slab of meat, rather than the small, thick puck you expect from a good ribeye at Winn Dixie, so it's basically impossible to cook medium. It came out well done and tasted like an over-cooked pork chop. Definitely not what you expect for a $20 steak. The server was quick to ask if we wanted both redone, and seeing how thin the steak was, I asked for one at rare or medium-rare instead. When they came out again, the managers personally delivered our new plates. For our trouble, the manager did toss in a free dessert and gave a steep discount. And the new plates were absolutely delicious. Pro Tip: For a restaurant that prides itself on thick, juicy burgers, I recommend you also acquire thick, juicy steaks. They don't have dominate the plate like a large slab of meat, but the steak should be at least 1" thick. This allows better control over how rare or done the steak is cooked, while still allowing a nice crispy sear on the outside. Another plus: a thicker cut of meat won't feel as greasy as a thin cut does. A thin steak like the two I was served (1/2" or less) is better suited for breakfast, the $8 special, or someone like Trump who eats his steak with ketchup. As for fish, not everyone is ok with a slightly pink center, and if your cuts are thick, ask the customer if they're ok with that first, and adjust accordingly. TL;DR/Bottom line: Server and managers were great, thanks for fixing the problem and genuinely seeming like you care; that kept this from being a 1-2 star review for sure! We tried Ruby Tuesdays for Cinco de Mayo to avoid the crowds at the traditional Mexican restaurants. Ruby Tuesday was featuring new Tex- Mex dinners with free queso and specials on Margaritas, so we thought we would give it a try. Server was new and trying to do her best. Understood, no problem there. They were not very busy, so we expected a quick dinner. We order ribeye and chicken fajitas . They came out lukewarm at best and the queso dip was not warm at all. The chicken and ribeye both were tender with a good flavor, but when you say sizzling fajitas , you kinda of expect them to be hot. The margs were good and flavorful. Ruby Tuesdays has the potential to be a really good restaurant, but they can't seem to get it together. They need an experienced manager in food service and one that expects the best out of the employees. They really do have some good employees, they just need help. They could also use someone to give their restaurants a new vibe. They need a livelier atmosphere. read more

Pros: -Good service -Fresh salad bar ingredients Cons: -Smells like garbage inside -Salad bar plates were hot, small, and square. Not dirty at all, especially the salad bar, and the staff seemed more than happy to answer any questions we had about the menu. The visit wasn't terribly long, so it didn't feel like they were leaving us captive there. As for the food, the steak looked odd at first (probably just me comparing it to other steaks I've had in the past), but it really had a decent taste and steak sauce probably is not needed. Quite possibly one of the worst experiences I or my dinner mates have had in a long time. So first off the restaurant was freezing. There was only 2 tables including us being served so i knew the food would be ok... Or so I thought. Let me explain just by meal how bad it was. Meal 1. My personal meal. I ordered the bacon bourbon burger with no veggies. Simple right? Haha. They did leave the veggies off. But. The bacon sauce was a very small amount. And they left off the RT sauce. My bun was soaked with grease. And by the time i got the sauce i asked for to make up for it... It got cold. Meal 2. Chicken Alfredo pasta. My wife's meal. Shes nicer than me so she didnt complain. But she told me later that she had enough sauce for about 5 noodles and the chicken was very under seasoned. Not to mention she wanted a glass of chocolate milk and the milk tasted like water. Meal 3. Classic cheeseburger. My best friends Meal. He got his burger back. The bottom was greasy and was missing the RT sauce and the mayo he asked for. Meal 4. A chicken salad. Best friends wife. Simplest one. Nope. ALL let me make this clear. ALL OF THE LETTUCE was wilted. She had to have her husband bring her lettuce from the salad bar so she could eat her salad. And when we told the waitress... She said 'thats not good' and didn't do anything. Point is. If I'm gonna pay 37 dollars for just my half of the check. I would expect better from ruby Tuesday's. We went to this restaurant last week to take advantage of an offer and to purchase gift cards for Christmas. I order the snow crab and was delighted by the quantity. But that's where the delight ended. The server put down my plate and left. I was not given any of the tools normally associated with eating crab or lobster. No shell crackers or picks or cocktail forks. I had to crack the shells by hand and dig the overly cooked crabmeat out with a dinner fork and my fingers. By the time I was able to get a bite full of crabmeat out, the "butter sauce" was cold. When we asked our server for the seafood implements, she said there weren't any. When we spoke to the day manager, he basically said the same thing and even admitted they had received complaints on the snow crab-not sure what about. We should have sent the meal back but we didn't. And the manager made no offer to make our experience more enjoyable. And we didn't get any gift cards as a result. Service at the Ruby's in Milton, FL is horrible even with grace them the benefit of the doubt and tipping (less than for a good server) but still tipping. Have also talked to the management still their team doesn't seem to get it. You have to ask for salad bar items to be refilled, the forget to bring you something if you ask or when they ask if you need anything. The place is hardly busy when we go. Witness upon several occasions 2 or 4 or even up to 6 workers standing or sitting around at the bar area chit chatting & not working. The list can go on but I don't even want to spend much time on a review for a chain restaurant that I will NOT ever go to again. There are to many others to go to. Let's jump right in, first, was seated at a booth, table was dirty, mind you they were only open for 10 minutes, and it was a Sunday, you could see the mess but hostess' still put us there. The menu I had , had a roach/bug smashed on it, also was dirty. Server came to table, asked him to wipe table, and showed him dirty menu, he just shugged his shoulders and went to find a wiping towel, didn't come back for at least 10 minutes. When he did he didn't have a towel to wipe table, HUH? So he left again, this time came w a towel. I ordered a draft beer, friend had tea . We ordered because we were hungry and had things to do afterwards, get draft beer and it was WARM, the draft beer was NOT COLD, when he brought food I told him beer was warm, he said, it has been warm, they have had people out to fix it, and they say it's fine. The food was cold like the other people said. My sons noodles and marinara was cold and the noodles we're stuck in a big clump. The ribs we're not worth 20 dollars I will say that. There is a man who sells them at a stand on the side of the road who could put these guys to shame. If your looking for bland cold and overpriced these are your guys. This was the first time we have visited here. Had a gift card. We will not return, sat at our booth for 3 minutes for sure (timer on phone) but it was longer than that. While my husband was getting his salad at the salad bar he overheard some very inappropriate conversation between the hostesses. Next I got the chicken tender meal and ordered a large. The price was $11.99 and I completely disagree that this was way overpriced for 6 small little tenders and fries. The price for the small was $9.99 for 3 tenders and fries. The tenders had the perfect amount of breading but there was absolutely no flavor to them at all. Ketchup didn't even help. According to my mother and husband the burger meat tasted good but I wasn't impressed with them at all. I've eaten here at least a dozen times in the past 2 years (ashamed to say); most every time it was because we had a mailer for a special buy-one-get-one. I have NEVER had a meal here that was anything better than "just ok". The food is bland, the portions are on the smaller side, and the prices are nuts for what you get. The salad bar is the only thing going on here, and it's probably slightly over-rated as well. It's a salad bar - Lettuce/tomatoes/ chopped ham, potato salad, mac-salad...peas? OK. You can't just let the pumpernickel croutons speak for the whole salad bar, folks (wink). I mean, they're good but come on. Service has always been adequate, but sometimes the food sits up under the lamp a little too long, and you get dried food. I think for the price you pay, you could get more for your money elsewhere. My wife and I decided to try this restaurant again after a two year lapse. Our last visit was less than satisfactory. Unfortunately they hadn't improved. We started with the Pretzels appetizer. It came with mustard and cheese dips. The pretzels were okay but the dips were bland and tasteless. The cheese dip congealed after a few minutes. I ordered the Asiago Peppercorn Steak with a Half Rack of Ribs. My wife ordered the Parmesan Chicken. We both substituted a side for a trip to the salad bar. The steak I got lacked flavor. The peppercorn taste was non-existent and the cheese clumped on top of the meat. The ribs were tough and dry. The chicken was dry from being overcooked. The penne was stuck together and cold. Ruby Tuesday is kind of a staple in Pace. It's been here for as long as anyone can remember. This most recent time I went, all I had was the salad bar, but hey, there salad bar is the second best I've encountered, after Sonny's. I love, love, love their honey mustard dressing. Also, I enjoy their cheddar biscuits. They are the second best cheddar biscuits I have encountered, after Red Lobster... Anyway. All the good food I've had there coupled with all the fun times I've had with my friends there yields Ruby Tuesday four stars with me, even though it might just deserve three stars, but shhhh.... read more

Giving 2 stars because the waitress was attentive and kind, otherwise, I'd rate 1 star instead because the food was not good at all. Not joking, I seriously fed my leftover steak dinner to our dog. Among other things, the steak was tough and dry. It was so bad, I embarrassingly spit some out into my napkin. And I'm not even sure how it was possible, but they managed to screw up steamed broccoli. The mashed potatoes were like the consistency of paste, and tasted like it, too. The only thing decent was the salad bar, but the plates were dirty! You have to fumble through several dirty plates before you find a clean one. It was gross. Several other diners were also commenting about it while we were there. In a nut shell, service was fine, but the food was awful. We will not be returning. read more

Me and my dad frequently use the buy one get one half off coupon that comes in the mail every month. As otherwise the prices would be a bit steep. But I have to say as the one not paying for the food most of the time. I see great quality in it, despite being in a black Styrofoam box. I've had bad experiences with those elsewhere. My favorite entree is the Southwestern Chicken Sonora pasta. Love the flavor and the juiciness. Average wait time is 15 minutes when it's past noon. During the busy times waits can be up to 30 minutes. The only real downer is that when you pull up to pick up, the box come do not work so you have to call them to let them know your waiting to pickup. The most interesting thing was when a new (seemingly) employee locked himself out when serving us. I have to say that actually made the wait time tolerable having something to laugh about together in the car. read more
