It was starting to storm out so we thought we would get dinner. So this was our pick for the night. We had the pleasure of having a server named Brett. He was friendly and very knowledgeable about the menu. A great waiter. I ordered the French onion. Soup. It is very good here. I got the spicy chili chicken appetizer as my dinner. The soup was excellent, hearty broth and was not lacking cheese at all! Very good. The chicken was tender but I was not crazy about the sauce. I loved the chicken, I think next time I'd request no sauce and just use a hot sauce on them. There was 3 of us and we all enjoyed our food. We recommend the food! And recommend the excellent service we received from Brett. Make sure to ask for him, he is on the ball for refills as well as anything else you may need. We will for sure be back. We did order takeout a couple months ago and I have to say they had everything correct and we all enjoyed the dinner. This was before my Dad passed away and he was not eating good but he ate very good that night. We will for sure go back inside and we would do take out again if needed. 10-15 minute wait for a table for 2 ended up being 25 minutes. all we ordered were entrees and they took 50+ minutes to come out. I ordered a New York strip medium well that came out medium (pink center/bloody) on the inside and grainy on the outside, Mac and cheese plate was hot but the actual Mac and cheese was cold and the "loaded" baked potato was all potato with a sprinkle of cheese. The potato itself was over done and broke apart like powder. I've definitely had better experiences at other locations. My partner said The garlic lemon chicken was okay. we both got mango lemonades and they were really sweet. I've had a great experience and great food. This is why we returned. However, we asked for the Ribeye's, but received something much different. One bite of the steaks were terrible. We elected not to eat them. We went to another restaurant and had a flavorful great ribeye. We got asked 3 times at longhorn if we wanted to have steak sauce. After the fact I knew why. Steak 1 was a cupped steak without grill marks. Steak 2 from a competitor was great and I finished it at the restaurant. Maybe steak 1 was microwaved. My wife and I came to this particular Long Horn for the first time. We absolutely loved it. We had great service and the food was fantastic. Our steaks were cooked and seasoned to perfection. Mine melted in my mouth. I had the T bone and my wife had the Outlaw ribeye. The waitress was very attentive from the minute we walked in. I ordered lunch at the pace, fl. location Longhorn Steakhouse. My order was a cheese burger with corn on the cob side. Placed the order at 1:22 and had to call the location at 2:05 to find out what the problem was. The order was delivered a few minutes later and a nice lady wished me a nice rest of my day. No sorry no explanation nothing. The hamburger was ok but the corn was stone cold which tells me that my order was ready and setting while I waited in the hot parking lot. So excited to have a Longhorn so close by and not have to drive all the way to Pensacola! We had the sweetest waitress (Mikayla) and so she was so attentive. Little bit of a wait but totally to be expected on a Friday at lunch time. Food was great and came out quick! Only "complaint" is the steak portion on the salad was about half of what the other locations usually give. Other than that, our experience was perfect! This meal was great. GREAT!!!! We have the money to eat at McGuires, but won't spend our money there. If the food was good we would. The food at McGuires is nowhere near as good as what we had this evening. Do NOT go to McGuires any longer. We had a shrimp appetizer that was great. We shared the ribeye dinner with a salad and baked potato. Plenty of food. Actually too much food. It was all really good. The steak was seasoned properly and doused with butter for sure. It was what I remember a good steak dinner out to be. It's been a long time since I've had a good steak dinner out. I gave up and started cooking steak at home. We will be going back. While I visit longhorns frequently I must say that my experience at this location was far above expectations. Tonight was our 25th Wedding Anniversary and we chose a great restaurant to celebrate. From the time you entered into the restaurant it's welcoming. The atmosphere was very nice and the staff were very polite. Not to mention the place is extremely clean and the bathrooms are very clean as well. Do I need to say anything else the food was phenomenal. It came out in a timely manner and looking just as advertised. We give this experience a 10+. I guess we have found a new place to celebrate every year. read more

Reviewing to highlight an amazing server. Joanna was not our server, but the server for the tables behind us. Of our party of 9 (plus my toddler) only 4 of us had gotten food and the remainder were waiting a considerable amount of time. Joanna came over and engaged with my toddler, chatting and playing with him and asked if he had been given crayons to color. When I explained he had but we were waiting on food she immediately asked what I ordered for him and ran back to check on it, bringing it out immediately. Food was mediocre at best. Ordered filet medium rare and it was cooked rare, no biggie but their special spice seemed to be all cayenne. So hot it covered taste of meat. Caesar salad lacked flavor. Baked potato was very good. Service was ok but we were served appetizer , salad, french onion soup and main course all within a couple of minutes . Iced tea was good. Normally great service, but not this time. Came in at 11:00 and ordered wings for an appetizer plus steak and shrimp for meal. 30 minutes later no wings or food. Just by chance the manager stopped by and ask how was everything. When we told her she scurried off to get the wings. Worst service I've ever had in there. me and my family went last night for my sisters 21st birthday, it was my first time ever going to a longhorns and the one in pace has definitely set the standard high. they were absolutely amazing!! the food was excellent and definitely worth the price. and we had the best waiters they were two young men, very easy going and attentive. honestly the whole staff was very kind and helpful. definitely recommend going here. also has a nice cozy western vibe inside, very nice. read more

We went last night for my Mom's birthday. The waitress and hostess ruined what was supposed to be a surprise. We went earlier and set up a plan. :-( The waiter was good, although it took awhile for the food to come out. The food was cold. I sent mine back. By the time it returned, my parents had finished their meal. It still wasn't hot, but I wasn't sending it back. They did bring some ice cream for my mom , which was nice. I really don't know where þo start. After our server stopped by, my wife ordered SA Octobest and i started with water. Server came back apoligized about no Octoberfest, I received no water. Orders were placed, wife received her second choice drink, and still no water. 30 minutes later my wife received her dinner salad, and I received my water after asking again. 45 minutes later I sopped the server and informed himwe were out of time so if the meal was ready to box it up. Well, my medium rare steak was cookes through to very well done, my loaded baked potato was unloaded, and my brussels sprouts was brocolli. Apology after apology, but the check was on time. Longhorn Steakhouse has always been one of my go to places to eat while out of town so I decided to take my family out to the new one that just recently opened in my hometown of Pace Florida. I was overwhelming disappointed in this location. Although the steak that my granddaughter and I recieved were cooked as ordered and seasoned well, both of them were cold. The loaded baked potatoes on all of our plates were also cold and would not even melt the butter on them. I understand that kids meals are much smaller portions because of the price but my younger granddaughter ordered macaroni and cheese and I could not believe that it was not only cold but it was straight out of a Kraft Macaroni and Cheese box which paired well with the cold side of steamed broccoli she got as a side dish. My wife had the Parmesan Crusted Chicken which went right along with her cold baked potato that I mentioned earlier. Our small town is growing rapidly and we are starting to get some nicer restaurants but if Longhorn Steakhouse wants to stay in business at this location then their management needs to get their act together and make sure that only HOT QUALITY meals leave the kitchen. read more
