    New location ! PACE FL
    Noah S.

We came to support one of our favorite restaurants on there grand opening in pace FL We told the host it was our 8 year anniversary and then so many came by to celebrate with us ! Food was great and all tasted just like every long horn we have been too. Our server was very very nervous so quite a few little things could have went smoother but it's only the first day . We will always come back .

So excited to have a Longhorn so close by and not have to drive all the way to Pensacola! We had the sweetest waitress (Mikayla) and so she was so attentive. Little bit of a wait but totally to be expected on a Friday at lunch time. Food was great and came out quick! Only "complaint" is the steak portion on the salad was about half of what the other locations usually give. Other than that, our experience was perfect! And the Teddy Graham's were a perfect touch while the kids waited. We'll be back for sure!

The curb appeal says it all.

While I visit longhorns frequently I must say that my experience at this location was far above expectations. Tonight was our 25th Wedding Anniversary and we chose a great restaurant to celebrate. From the time you entered into the restaurant it's welcoming. The atmosphere was very nice and the staff were very polite. Not to mention the place is extremely clean and the bathrooms are very clean as well. Do I need to say anything else the food was phenomenal. It came out in a timely manner and looking just as advertised. We give this experience a 10+. I guess we have found a new place to celebrate every year.

Our server was excellent and we were seated right away . The food was very salty. I couldn't eat my meal. The salad was even super salty.

The place is really quaint with a warm, inviting atmosphere. The menu includes a great variety of different items. The soup of the day was a green chili chicken stew that sounded too good to pass on, so I ordered that along with a side of Gouda grits and a side of sautéed green beans. The grits were delicious! The green beans were very good; and the soup was good. My wife ordered the Philly Cheesesteak with sweet potato criss-cut fries. The fries were bomb! The sandwich was okay, she was trying to figure out what was missing. On the way home she realized it was missing cheese. A cheesesteak without cheese?!?! Service was very good. Our server was attentive without being overbearing. This bistro is not cheap by any stretch, but it is good and I'm sure we'll return.

I never made it out, though, until I moved away, got a job, and then came back to visit recently. I went out to explore downtown Milton some, checked out Blackwater State Park, and got hungry and decided to finally come check this place out for lunch. So we drove up, got a table, and started browsing the pamphlet they gave us of the history of the building. It was a quaint little read. The restaurant is in an old house that had many different lives over the course of its existence. It was wooden, comfortable, had a nice bar built into it. Very cozy and rustically upscale. The service was also very good. A nice lady that tended to all of our drink needs. Very pleasant. And the food came out in a timely fashion. As for the food, we started with the The Sampler (A mixture of our house favorites: Artichoke cheesecake, Baguette, Loaded Brussel Sprouts with Shrimp, Coconut Shrimp with Mango Chutney). This was nice. I love a good savory cheesecake, you don't see that very often. It was very interesting loading the sprouts with shrimp, but I've never said no to a shrimp. And the coconut shrimp were pretty standard. It was a good plate, but not mind-blowing, if you wanna try a different app. My main was the Creole Crawfish & Andouille Pot Pie (Louisiana Crawfish, Savory Vegetables, Andouille, Cajun Cheese Cream, Puff Pastry). This is a loose-leaf pot pie. So basically a gumbo with a puffy piece of puff pastry on top. So it's a lot of fun, but don't expect a lot of crust with each bite. Super creamy, super Cajun in the seasoning, no regrets getting this. I also got to try the The Blue Salad (Filet of Beef. Signature Assorted Lettuce, Tomato, Red Onion, Cucumber, Bleu Cheese, Balsamic Vinaigrette, Candied Pecans, Bleu Cheese Dressing). This was a good salad! Nice and tender strips of filet, funky bleu cheese, sweet and crunchy pecans. I love a nice interesting salad like this. Nothing boring involved. And a ton of that delicious dressing. Overall, the Bistro was well worth the wait. Good vibes, good food. I'd come back.

If no game, then just for the fact that service is quicker and there is usually no wait. Yesterday being New Year's Eve, the restaurant was crowded and we again went to the bar. There were two open seats, only at opposite sides, so I sat and we were going to wait for 2 open seats. I noticed a couple getting ready to leave and I told my husband to go wait behind them so we could sit and eat together. A couple came up at that time and the man said to me that they had been there long before us and the seats were his!! Mind you nobody was there prior to our arriving. I said something to the girl behind the bar ( Savanna) that we were going to move and someone was giving me grief about it. She said oh he's just kidding. After we moved, she hurried and took an extra chair over and made people move over for them (something that was NOT offered to us) and she proceeded to totally and very obviously ignored us the whole time we were there. Thank goodness for the guy who was working or we never would've got any service. We were treated horrendously by this nasty little girl, and we will be rethinking our choices in the future. Get a clue Roadhouse, that's the way you lose business, and judging by your mediocre rating so far, you should rethink your employees!!!!

We came for Date Night "Double Lobster dinner" last Saturday night & when we walked into the bar to wait for our table, we couldn't get any wine, bc they were out of the only one they have that I will drink. The manager quickly came over & tried to explain why he didn't have any booze, supply chain issues, bla bla bla. No Bueno Rustler. Should have been a Cowboy... To the Manager that I spoke to: "Listen here Mr. Manager tall drink of Water. I'm the fancy lady in the gorgeous formal gown you talked to on Saturday night. You came & spoke to me & my husband about your liquor problems. We couldn't get any wine and you told me you were out of Pinot Noir and never had any real champagne & that was just your first problem right there Rustler. Now, you know i'm a real Southern Lady, as I politely expressed to you, you need to get some fast big daddy, bc I like your "Double lobster tail dinner." You made some more excuses & I said "Well, I have a Cold bottle of Champagne in the frig." And on that note, we rode off into the sunset. We can't have "date night" dinner in your fine "Double Lobster Dinner" establishment Sir without any fine liquor. I'm from Texas, we like to throw back a few cold ones b4 we rope'n tie'em Arrrr! OuiOui. Listen here Rustler, i'm on my way to Texas right now for Christmas & i'm gonna stop at every Longhorn Restaurant on the way there & back, to see if your pulling my fancy leg here with no Pinot & no Champagne. I will be back from Texas in two shakes of a lambs tail & we gonna find out if you tryin to pull a fast one quick draw. In the meantime i'm gonna take you off my "fave hometown restaurants" & "where are the treasures lists" till you can get that bootlegger back to ya saloon with some fine wine & spirit Rustler. Yes it's an ultimatum Rustler. Should have been a Cowboy... Get the booze or say goodbye to my cherry lips and dumplings chili beans and pumpkin pie.. I understand the regulars have established relationships, but it would be nice if that same attention were extended to others. The only time anyone checked on me was the manager. The lamb chops were excellent, but if it weren't for that, I might not return for a while. Thanks to both managers who tried to fix the issue, but the lack of consistent customer service was noticeable.

Andy D's was the venue for the performance and provided the food that was included with the ticket. The service was fantastic. Friendly staff working hard with the timing of the play. The food was ok. We had a set menu to choose from. The bang bang shrimp and buffalo chicken dip with spicy crackers were really good. The grouper nuggets were ok, a bit chewy. The chicken Alfredo was also ok. The sauce wasn't very flavorful and the chicken a bit chewy as well. The garlic knots had a strange after taste. The pulled pork sandwich didn't have any bbq sauce on it. The onion rings were excellent. Dessert was a chocolate cake cup that was yummy! I have to say I have never had a worse margarita in my life. It was loaded with tequila, which is awesome, but it had sour mix and some strange lime syrup in it. It almost tasted like something you'd put on a snow cone. It was terrible. Also, the acoustics in this place are horrible. Sound carries so bad, it is very difficult to hear anyone even right next to you. I would say this is much more of a party spot than a good place to take the family out to eat. I would come back for that type of vibe and not order a margarita :)
