This location in Pace FL has to be the worst Panera out of any location I have ever been too. They always run out of items, their workers are rude and have an I don't care attitude. I ordered a green goddess salad after waiting for 10 minutes and paying I am told they do not have the dressing for my salad. This has happened multiple times. I will not be back. My husband wanted to do something sweet for me and pick up my favorite meal: Broccoli Cheddar Soup and a Sea Salt & Pepper Focaccia bread. Because my husband is deaf and mute, I texted him the exact name of the bread so he could show it to the cashier. He showed the message directly to the employee. What did the staff do? Instead of giving him the actual bread we asked for, these incompetent people just threw in the standard free side-bread that comes with the soup and actually charged us for it! It is absolutely infuriating that you hire people who can't even read a simple text message right in front of their eyes or properly communicate with a customer who has special needs. Total lack of basic reading skills and zero attention to detail. Who are you even hiring off the street? Completely useless service. Never coming back to this location. read more

Stopped in for lunch. I ordered 2 for 2 option. Tuna salad was delicious my 1/2 Asian salad was soaked with dressing and chicken was frozen. Not impressed. My mother in law said hers was good. Usually it delicious maybe they had an off day. But for $16.00 for a small 1/2 sammie and salad that I could barely eat they need to do better. read more

Each member of the staff was very friendly and helpful. My family has only ever really been in a Panera bread once so they had questions. The nice young man that was helping us up front gave us good helpful suggestions that lead to a delicious meal. My only note would be to wipe the tables in the dining room more often but this seems to be a common thing in all Panera breads. Great staff! Pretty dang good food too! read more

No one at the register when we came in. I went to the window where the food comes out and ask for some help. The manager became affronted by this and sarcastically said I'll get someone. There was a delay in getting the order (no shock). The place was freezing and when my wife ask about turning on the heat she was told we have no control over the thermostat (complete BS). Went for lunch 8/23/2025. Tables were not bussed, there were fly everywhere. Ordered a 1/2 salad with a French onion soup. The soup was just thick and nasty. Very off putting flavor. So I came here to check out the new Panera that opened up in my hometown with a friend. I never thought my little place would be the kind of place one day to get one of these, but they did, and I'm glad. It's definitely a smaller version of what I was used to, but it was clean and it was pretty. The parking lot is more than enough space for it. The server was friendly and our order was ready fairly quickly. I had a Steak & Egg on Everything Bagel (Egg, a thick slice of Vermont white cheddar and seared steak on an Everything Bagel) with a Caramel Latte (Freshly brewed espresso, foamed milk and caramel topped with whipped cream and a drizzle of caramel sauce) to wash it down with. The bagel as delicious. The white cheddar was soft and not too harsh, letting the little slice of steak shine. I couldn't really tell if it was seasoned well because the bagel had an explosion of little things on it with the sear adding up to make this a really good sandwich. The latte was served in an oversized mug with a whole heap of whipped cream on top. Nice, subtle flavor that even a coffee snob could enjoy, but if you like things super sweet, you might wanna ask them to add extra syrup. The atmosphere was super nice. It was quiet and the relaxing music was ambient in the background. All this combined with the free wifi means that the students of Pace now have a local option to come to to study. I wish this place was around when I was in undergrad. Overall, the food and drink is quality. We all know that. The price is a little high. We all also know that. But, it's not outrageous, and being there is just so darn pleasant that I think this place deserves a solid four stars. Will return. read more

There was only one type of bread available to have all the sandwiches on. They also were out of most of the vegetables. How can you be a Panera "BREAD" and not have any bread? They did not have someone up front for any of the baked items and no pagers to use for self service. It seemed that there was no actual manager or someone maintaining the dining area or drink station that was also out of all teas. To top it off the dining area had a smell. I would suggest the owner looks into getting better management that works from open to close and does drop off just because it is 6:30 at night. read more

Went through the drive-through yesterday afternoon to get a Baja Chicken Bowl. Three cars were in front of me and it took approx. 20 minutes to pay and receive my food. I ordered my usual, the Baja Bowl with Chicken. I always customize my bowl and a few times in the past my order has been incorrect. Today EVERYTHING was PERFECT! I added extra feta cheese (up charge) and tomatoes along with extra salsa verde on the side. Before leaving the drive-through, to be on the safe side. I verified my order with the friendly woman working Everything was just as I ordered! I will say in the past when they messed up my order, I've called them and they offered to remake it on a return visit free of charge. I've also noticed that the consistency and quality of the food varies day by day. I've had the Baja Bowl a few times where the avocado wasn't ripe. I've also had the bowl where it was missing a main ingredient. Todays visit was a good one and my order was PERFECT! It was an above average experience thus the 4 star review. read more

Panera Bread you have lost another loyal customer due to your outrageous prices. I ordered two "group" soups which, according to the cashier, are suppose to serve 4 people each. Maybe if they are 4 years old there is enough soup to feed them, but otherwise there is only enough soup for two small bowls per group container. I also received the bread that comes with the soup. Total cost for enough soup to feed two people with some bread.....$46 Ridiculous! The food taste good to me, but not at those prices. read more

I love the Panera Bread in Pace, FL. The staff are always friendly and enthusiastic. They go above and beyond to offer top quality service. My favorite Panera offering is the Chocolate Latte (hot) and the chicken and wild rice soup which is thick and rich with rice, carrots and chicken. read more

I ordered a 20 ounce cappuccino with a shot of chocolate. What I received was 20 ounces of milk with a shot chocolate. Definitely got charged for a cappuccino though. The picture doesn't due justice to just how light my cup of "coffee" actually looked. read more

We ordered a pickup for tonight's dinner. As soon as my husband got home we checked the bag and was missing a soup. No biggie as we live close. We called and they answered very promptly. Sienna was so nice about it, and offered to give us chocolate chip cookies when my husband goes to get the soup. Panera is one of my most favorite places to eat, they are amazing at meeting the needs of my special diet; went to Milton last night, the staff are so delightful and accommodating. LOVE this store, it is always so clean and the food is always prepared better than expected. Thank you Milton and Pensacola stores for providing such a wonderful dining experience. My wife and I eat here all the time. The food is usually good. We have one HUGE complaint. Lately every time we go all the tables are sticky. I've been to this location multiple times and haven't had a complaint. I have eaten in the restaurant, through the drive-thru, and rapid pick-up. I did the pick-up tonight for the first time and it was great, ordered and paid for everything from my house, walked in, grabbed my bags and walked out. Everything was delicious. I have cravings often for the Roasted Turkey, Apple & Cheddar Sandwich and it's been great each time. The chips I'm not a fan of so I switch to the baguette for a side and love it. Also tried the Spicy Thai Chicken Salad for the first time and it was great, kick without too much spice, lots of flavor. read more

Panera always has its high quality food and this location continues this trend. My friend unknowingly got the goddess salad without knowing that the sauce was made of dairy. She took it back up and apologized for not making it clear she wanted the dressing on the side. The manager not only completely remade her salad but brought 5 non dairy options for dressing. They went above and beyond to ensure my friends good experience here, and deserve 5 stars. read more

We have been to a lot of Panera bread locations. This one serves smaller sizes than all the rest. They only fill the large macaroni and cheese container 2/3 full and when we asked why it wasn't completely full, the employee said that they "use a ratio" to fill the container. All the other Panera's fill the container to the top. We won't be back to that location again. read more

Arrived at this location at 6:13 am from a distance in route to work, sat at the drive through to place an order....SILENCE. After repeatedly saying "Hello" no one answered. Drove up to the window and I see what appeared to be a gentleman manger at the front counter making a breakfast for someone in the lobby, followed by a shorter woman prepping. Despite several attempts to get their attention, still no one " looked the drive thru way". So it's not pushing 6:22am...I called the store and a young lady answered, I asked her what time did they open and she stated 630am and hung up...at that point I just drove off. I'm a fan of Panera Bread restaurants & have frequented 2 in Pensacola many times & also to the one in Crestview. They served outstanding, high quality sandwiches & salads. However I live in PACE & after 3 visits to Pace's Panera Bread, I left disappointed w/ their substandard salads. The staff must prepare the salads WAY ahead of time w/ the dressing on it -because by the time I got it the Romaine lettuce was soggy & limp- except for the one time I asked to have the dressing served on the side. The other 2 times I forgot to ask. My husband and a friend had the same complaint. I'm sure PB would have replaced my salad if I had requested... but it's still a disappointment because Pace NEEDS good restaurants! read more
