Terrible restaurant. Booth wall was filthy. Food took forever. Ordered Honey Chicken plate, it had 'added ingredients' and was clearly wiped with a dirty rage, and then was served to me. Only positive was service was good. read more

I was with my boyfriend in the local area and wanted to stop to get a bite to eat. Stopped by Ruby Tuesday's. It's been years since I've eaten at Ruby Tuesday's to where I forgot what was on the menu. When we walked in the restaurant it was semi clean. We were seated right away by the waitress. The menu selections were similar to Applebees simple nothing to exciting. I decided to go with the grilled salmon with pilaf rice and grilled zucchini. My boyfriend went with the bourbon salmon with pilaf rice and grilled zucchini. The meals were delicious except for the fact that it should have been advertised as a small lunch plate. The plate was small lol. We had drinks they were watered down by the ice so no real effect there. I had to order another drink with light ice which tasted a bit better to get the full experience. Later we shared a red velvet cake slice. Wanted to add that I had to get 2 forks both forks were dirty to where I gave up and just used the butter knife to eat my cake. Well...we didn't even get to the food part because we were so disgusted by the state of the restaurant. Most tables had food scraps or dirty dishes on them and the floor was also littered with food scraps. Went to diner tonight with wife and my grand daughter. Upon arrival was seated 30 min later took received our drinks. 20 min later came back to take order. Then had to get pad to write order down. Finally took order. Order another drink took another 30 mins then 30min after that got our order. Never saw waiter again. After finished our food he came by we ordered desert. Then 45 later tracked down waiter to get bill. And our desert to go. Very unorganized, several customers walked out after placing there order. One couple only order a salad bar and left after twenty min they finally got up and left. Granddaughter was a special needs child which made life that much more difficult. We normally go to Applebee's on our night out thought we would try something new. If I had to rate customer service it would 2. When you have to chase the waiter down to get bill, never coming by table to followup. Food rated a 6, overall worst service ever had and will not be back or recommend this restaurant to others. read more

So ... I don't usually leave a review but tonight was interesting. Visiting from out of town and decided to get the salad bar since Most of the restaurants have closed. I now see why! Salad bar did have has options as the past but ok. My husband wanted ribs but was informed that they were out. When he asked about the temp on the burger or steak, the server said it might be a problem since the cook wasn't very good. The restaurant looked unkept. Ok visit. Food was a little overcooked, but staff was very friendly and represented te brans well. Nice to see a salad bar, but much of it was prepped salads, not very many choice for making your own garden salad. Kind of dark and quiet, but peaceful for a late night dinner. read more

Wow. This is the first restaurant in Jackson that was HORRIBLE and I'm sorry we stopped. Upon entering, the young hostess came to the podium with her mouth full and with an attitude. Okk. I asked her if she was ok and she said she was eating and working because they don't get breaks. Again, should have left to go somewhere else, but we didn't because we were hungry. Gabby was our server- she was nice. We ordered 3 different things- 2 out of 3 were terrible. We didn't let a Manager know because after getting turned down for a drink because they were closing... it was like, "what's the point !" Yelp has their hours closing at 11p But they actually close at 10. We had just received our food when the hostess asked if we wanted a to go box. So rude! This place has a bad rap, the salad bar is pretty good, the ribs are over cooked but the BBQ sauce is good just need more of it on the side. I go the baked potato they didnt have bacon so didn't get it loaded. Place is clean but they need spell check for the bathrooms they misspelled gentleman hahaha. So my family loves regional chains. We've heard of Ruby Tuesday but we don't have one near us, so while driving through we figured we'd stop and give it a shot. I DID see the reviews, however our local Red Lobster, Chilis, Olive Garden etc are also reviewed poorly so that wasn't a huge deterrence seeing as how they might not be "amazing" food but they serve their purpose. I should have listened to the reviews. For starters while my husband was in the bathroom stall a worker came in and angrily commented on the smell of the bathroom..... with profanity. He left and came back and again made comments on the smell in the bathroom. Unprofessional much? We should have left after that but we chalked it up to younger people working here and everyone has to start somewhere right? We started off with the crab dip (we're super brave apparently), it was fine and actually tasted decent but didn't have any actual crab meat. My husband got the scallop dish, which was supposed to come with broccoli and a rice pilaf, he added a salad bar and a side of macaroni and cheese. Salad bar was meh according to him, and instead of receiving broccoli with his rice pilaf he got a double order of rice, no mac and cheese and no broccoli. My stepson got the ribeye with ribs and loaded cheese fries. His steak was terrible. It was cooked well but was a terrible cut of meat. Incredibly tough. Ribs were also very tough. Cheese fries were edible I guess? I got the Cajun shrimp pasta dish. It reminded me of the Alfredo and noodles from Cicis Pizza. The shrimp was seasoned well but that's about it. The sad breadstick that came with the pasta was utterly devoid of flavor and when I gestured for my husband to try it I actually had to take a second glance at it because I was afraid there might have been mold on it. There wasn't, but THATS how bad and stale it was. That I thought it might have. This restaurant is incredibly run down, wallpaper bubbling and peeling off the walls, some of the lights were burned out and didn't work. The bathrooms were gas station level dirty. I'm just praying we don't get sick tonight. Will update this review if we do...... The kicker was our total was $97. I get inflation but good lord we could have gone to Applebees and gotten a better meal for that price. Or Arby's or McAllisters Deli next door. This place should probably be shut down and cleaned up and have something else move in. read more

When my family and I went to this establishment, we was shocked by the hygiene of this place, the carpet was really dirty( like it's never seen soap in years, and it's smelled) the high chairs for kids has 5 layers of grime and dirt "never been cleaned", the chairs cushion several of them was broken, and the lamp has stains and some slit broken, now the drinks was bland, I have a margarita and it's taste like lemonade, and my husband have beer draft Yuengling, and it was bitter, all of this played a factor our family leaving and going somewhere else . read more

Restaurant was reasonably clean. The lunch hour was not busy, but the staff was more concerned about the order of people getting tables than actually seating patrons. The salad bar was pretty sad. A lot of it's vegetables looked as though they had been sitting for quite awhile and were either wilting or scattered about on the surface. After being advised by my server on the new food menu, which she simply said she had no idea about since she hadn't tried any of and knew nothing about. I ordered the tacodillas, which arrived to the table missing their condiments and the cheese etc that was supposed to be inside of them. Upon telling my server, Donna, that I wasn't happy with them and that weren't exactly much of tacos, she simply responded, "no ma'am they aren't" and handed me my check. Bartender had manager check my out of state ID and wouldn't accept it because they thought it was fake, went to hotel to get my passport and passport card and said they couldn't accept it. Only a drivers license would suffice. Are you kidding? 3 forms of ID and matching cards aren't enough. a nearby customer who overheard the exchange even scoffed at the circumstance our exchange even after overwhelming proof and extraordinary lengths to prove I had a valid ID. The older 'gentleman' behind the bar who I assumed was the manager on shift needs his eyes and common sense checked and be less concerned about saving face and own up to mistakes. This location revolves around a lot of airport traffic from from out of towners, not the usual place underage people are trying to pull a fast one. Embarrassing especially when I'm supposed to meet coworkers. Lost our company's business tonight. Place was dead inside tonight even though the hotel I'm staying at was booked full. With that they're still bold enough to be turning away customers. Quick way to run this place into the ground. Also, please don't call your adult patrons "kid". Just another disrespectful gesture I experienced here. read more

Would not recommend. Upon entering the salad bar looks like a buffet that wasn't cleaned up after a party... my booth bench was dirty as was the window sill (like food particles & dirt!!) service was slow then when my drink came the cup was dirty. Lastly they were out of fries & onion rings and when asked if I could add sweet potato fries at no extra cost (since they were out of fries & onion rings ) Iwas told they would have to charge me extra anyways. We cancelled our food paid for my husbands beer & just ate at home. So sad truly read more

Nobody is taking any pride in this establishment. The place was nearly empty. It was dirty. It looked like it could use a good deep cleaning. It was just dingy and drab. The plates on the salad bar were dirty and the broccoli had mold on it. Our food was food. That's all I can say. It wasn't great. I wouldn't even call it good. The manager was more interested in chatting with the waitresses than working. There were several employees there but Adrianna was the only one that was working. We were pleasantly surprised by our dining experience at Ruby Tuesday's this evening. The young lady who waited in us was very sweet and attentive. We had the ribs, salad bar and chicken quesadilla appetizer. Everything was well prepared and delicious. The salad bar was a standout...the ingredients were very fresh and well displayed. If you like an old fashioned fresh salad bar this is the place for you. I had the blackened tilapia with rice pilaf. It was average but the staff is friendly and attentive. But the salad bar is the star. You can also order a cocktail. Great option for date night or family dinner. read more

Do not recommend. They were not busy, took 10ish minutes to seat us when we were the only ones waiting and maybe 5 seated tables in the restaurant. Our waiter didn't come for another 5-10, and when he did come he just stood by the table until I made eye contact and then awkwardly introduced himself. Ordered drinks and food at the same time. Added the salad bar, that was a mistake. The lettuce looked old(actually most of it looked old) and there were flys buzzing around it. Also I saw a "chef" come out and check the salad bar so I'm surprised it was left in that condition. Our food came out quickly but was ok at the very best. My husbands steak was undercooked and we waited for our server to come back to tell him. By the time our server made his rounds(again not busy, only a handful of tables) we had all finished eating, minus the steak. My husband is not picky but doubted that it was even safe to eat. It was barely cooked, and cold in the center. The waiter offered to get his manager, who came over and then argued the cook of the steak. We also heard her arguing with the table behind us about their steak. (Telling her that her cut of steak could be tougher, than the customer informed her she had ordered a completely different cut than she was arguing with her about) When we told her she was wrong she rolled her eyes and said she would get him a new one. We told her we were already finished eating and just wanted it taken off. She agreed, left, and we didn't hear anything until the waiter wandered past us with the receipt. No apologies, no drink refills, subpar food... on our way out I decided to use the restroom and found myself thankful we had been sat on the opposite side of the restaurant. You could smell it well before you reached it. The whole restaurant needs a deep deep clean and update. Don't waste your time or money. read more

This restaurant amazes me as to how the doors are still open. It has declined more and more over the years. Once was one of my favorite places to eat, merely because of the salad bar. Now, this will likely be my last chance to give them, EVER. I keep trying it just hoping management will turn it around. Guess not. The wall inside my booth was filthy.
