We've been to several of the Ruby, Tuesday, Properties, and have generally speaking fully enjoyed the meals there. The buffets have always been excellent with many choices, and some unusual items offered. The specials they offer are excellent as well, such as steak and vegetables and trimmings, which have always been very enjoyable, I can't say we've been there lately because we haven't. There are so many places to try. But we do consider Ruby Tuesdays as an optional place to go especially if we're in the mood for a salad bar. I wish there was more protein or at least protein on the bar as that would make it easier to have as a complete meal, I would generally highly recommend Ruby Tuesday. Yes, some have been more clean than others, but I tend to think we just caught them at a bad time just generally speaking they are clean good choice for an eating experience. read more

I was nervous based on reviews prior to visiting as we stood there for almost a minute and were t acknowledged. Someone eventually came and sat us. The server we had was friendly, sincere and very quick to bring us our stuff and check on us. The drinks were definitely weak but if you buy enough you'll finally get your buzz. The menu still seems good enough in variety but the appetizer menu is pretty terrible in my opinion. Thankfully it was fresh and tasted good. The main course was fresh and delicious too. I overheard people next to us complaining about them no longer providing the rolls who have brought a manager out who kind of seemed sarcastic in his response. That led to the group saying they'll follow their friends to the other local spots. 1. We were welcomed by Serenity who made us feel happy to be there. 2. We were served by Desiree who was amazing in her suggestions and attentive to our dining needs. She is a great server! 3. We had the salad bar added on to our meal, and it did not disappoint. 4. When returning to our seat from the salad bar, I tripped but did not fall over a metal floor area near the bar, and no, I wasn't drinking .  The bartender, Thomas, showed concern, and made sure the manager was aware.  The lady manager had a wet floor sign put over the concerning area, and I noticed the gentleman manager watching over us to make sure we were ok. A few weeks ago I meet a friend for dinner at the Ruby Tuesday in Pensacola, Pine Forrest exit. We were greeted with utmost hospitality and big smiles! The restaurant was clean, welcoming and the salad bar was absolutely amazing! The friendly wait staff was accomadating, and our server was so attentive! I ordered the fall off the bone baby back ribs, and they certainly did not dissappoint! Let me tell you, these ribs melted in my mouth! The Ruby Relaxer was scrumptious, and had so much flavor! My faith has been renewed in this chain because of this location. Ad a traveler, consistency is key and with just a few minor tweeks this could be the best representation of a RT I've seen in a couple of years. We had a kitchen issue back in January of which they quickly addressed once we made them aware of what happened. We went in on the evening of April 5th for the unfortunate event to be rectified. We were to notify when we got there and the manager on duty this night came out to greet us and better understand the issue we had....thru no fault of his own. This rating is based on his actions alone. The food we ordered was good but this manager (wished I had gotten his name but they can tell by the date who was on that night and hopefully give him some kudos.) was not just greatly apologetic but his true sincerity was amazing....the guy truly cared and wanted to make sure we remain Ruby Tuesday customers. So rare was his actions in the retail world today where people just want your money with no customer service. He came out after we had started eating and checked on us again and it was so nice to see that there are still people in the world like him that appreciates his job and understands what it is and knows how to make customers feel welcome instead of someone just standing between him and the cash register. Don't go. Staff was friendly enough but nothing moves quickly here. If you go without being pressed for time you will still find it taking more time than you didn't know you did not want to take. The place was clean, mostly. Water spots all over the dishes and the window we sat next too had obviously not been cleaned in a while. The main reason not to go is the food. As another reviewer posted, it is all frozen and none too great, especially considering the cost. This is not necessarily this particular manager's fault, but the fault of Ruby Tuesday corporate which means you will likely experience the same disappointment an any Ruby Tuesday no matter what level of effort staff and management put into it. Let me give you a perfect example based on my experience. I ordered a 6oz. sirloin with onion rings and a loaded baked potato. Shortly after placing my order, the server returns and explains there is some bad news: "The restuarant is out of loaded baked potatos but I can have loaded mashed potatos." Now let that sink in a second. What this tells me is either the restaurant had nary a potato in it or they get their loaded baked potatos already made; so they're frozen. They don't make their own baked potatos.... Wendy's makes their own baked potatos ffs. You're telling me a restuarant can't make a baked potato? Oh, and its like $3.39 at a Wendy's. I ordered the steak Medium Rare but it came Medium Well. This was unfortunate but I ate it because I hate wasting food, especially something like a sirloin. The onion rings were so artificial looking and tasting that I almost felt like I was eating them right out of the cardboard box they were frozen in. My wife and I had the spinach artichoke dip for an appetizer. Having made spinach artichoke dip in my home a few times, I know the pain it is to make. So I don't expect RT to make fresh spinach artichoke dip. This is true for probably any place you go. The spinach artichoke dip is not going to be fresh. If you have ever had it fresh, you will know the difference immediately. But, like the onion rings, this was probably the lowest quality frozen commercial crap they could have imported from a low-grade factory. None of the food was hot. All the food seemed 'hot enough'. It was warm enough to be edible but not so hot that you bit into it and thought the kitchen was really run by some good cooks churning out hot, fresh food. Imagine getting some dip at the store in the frozen food aisle, heating it up in the microwave and like always, some of it is hotter than Satan's butthole but its still frozen in the center. Well, instead of stirring it, and heating it up some more, its just stirred in the hopes that the hot mixes with the cold to make an overall average temperature that is hopefully just short of pleasing but still good enough to choke it down. Thats exactly the temperature of everything we ate. It is my strong suspiscion that everything RT serves comes in frozen form and is microwaved if possible; it's obvious in the quality to any discerning palate. So to the staff of RT, I'm sorry you have to live with corporate decisions like this but you shouldn't work for an establishment who's product you don't believe in unless you have no choice. RT needs to change this sad situation or just stop ripping people off. And to these other folks who gave the place a good review, please stop writing reviews until you know what is good and what isn't. Anyone who gave this place more than 2 stars is dishonest. read more

We pulled into Ruby Tuesdays excited about some salad bar and apps!! We'd just pulled off the highway. We walked inside, my boyfriend went yo the restroom with the intention of meeting me at our table. Didn't happen! I stood near the hostess stand and was never greeted. Kris was my server today. It was refreshing to have a server who didn't need to be told when I needed something. She was quick to warn me that the plate was hot and was quick to place a refill order for my peach tea. It is a good thing when you have a server like this because in today's market they are harder to find than one might think. I have visited the Ruby Tuesday's on Pine Forest Road many times even though there is one closer to me. The atmosphere and service is top notch here. The food is always perfection and the staff is always friendly and helpful with offering suggestions or even making changes for special diets. The manager Teresa is fabulous. She is always there with a huge smile all the while making sure everything is flowing the way a great restaurant should. She is both respectful and professional as she over sees that everything is done correctly. I enjoy watching the dynamics of how the staff and management get along not to mention how efficiently everyone works together. That is a true sign to me of Good Management. My hubby and I went out to eat and decided to have a couple of drinks before ordering our food. I ordered a glass of Chardonnay and was asked by the waitress if I wanted the 4 oz or the 8 oz glass and I informed her I wanted the larger glass of wine. When my order was received I was presented what I would call a 3 oz glass of wine and when I complained, the uppity bartender or manager decided it would be cute to bring me a larger glass of wine with a smirk on his face! The meat was cooked perfectly and was very tasty as was my grilled zucchini & baked potato to go along with it. Boy...that was a quick trip to regretville after tasting this awful TV dinner factory. My meal took nearly 30 mins to get there...the delay was probably the time it took for the frozen TV dinner to thaw out. Cold food on a hot plate was tonight's special. Typical chain restaurant. The last few times we've been, the lettuce on the "famous garden bar" was frozen and the garden bar has been messy most times I've been. The food has been subpart, sometimes still cold from the "warm up" process. Everything tastes like it was defrosted and warmed up. Its never anything to write home about. If you want food that's consistent with any other chain , this is your place. If you want food cooked with passion, go next door to Wayne's diner.....they offer some of the best shrimp ​and crab cakes in Pensacola!! read more

We went to this location around Christmas and it was good. The atmosphere was perfect for the season and so was the food. Based on that experience we went back recently and it was HORRIBLE. I got the hotel restaurant vibe this time. If you've ever been to a restaurant connected to a hotel, you'll know what I mean. This one wasn't connected but there are two hotels in the parking lot(s). The service was lackluster. The waiter we had tried to upsell, which I HATE. He also didn't think to not put the appetizer in together with the main so he had to stop that so the food wouldn't come out all at once. What's wrong with servers? I mean seriously. Do they get the job for just the tips because I'm not tipping my usual 20% with a less than perfect meal. We ordered a steak medium rare. When it arrived, the cook didn't rest it and it bled all over the plate. It was rare, almost blue in the middle. If I was a server, I would not have allowed a steak with blood on the plate to go out to the customer. Who works the line? The waiter didn't clear off our plates after we finished. It felt like we waited forever for him to return so I had to get up and go ask another waitress for a to go container and our check. While we waited, other servers just walked by empty handed and could have grabbed things off of our table. Whatever. This will be our last time at a Ruby Tuesdays. With tip, we paid over $50. I could have made myself a really nice meal much better than this for as much so zero props to the cook that they have in the kitchen. This is pretty much ALL on the server as well. I'm done with the dining out. Not only is the food not worth it nowadays but the service just isn't good anymore. $50 is alot of money for LUNCH. read more

I didn't even know this was still around with all the others having closed down in town. Stopped by after the kid's half day at school. Walked up to the stand and the guy who I assume was the manager didn't say anything and just sort of stepped aside as I assume the hostess came back to greet us. The hostess took our drink order and appetizers because the server was nowhere to be found or was busy with another table. The server eventually came and acknowledged that our drinks and appetizers were put in and then took our order. The kid's chicken Caesar salad looked dry with a huge pile of lettuce and a few dry looking pieces of chicken (dressing was very lacking). My roast beef dip was a sad looking "hoagie" (looked more like a large a dinner roll than a hoagie) with dry beef (cheese was extra). There was a side of gravy/au jus to dip except they must have been low on gravy because I could stick my finger in the small dip bowl and only cover the tip of my fingernail (not exaggerating there--I really did it to show the kid). Server refilled our drinks in a timely manner, but also disappeared for a little bit when we were ready to get our check and pay. When she came back, she had a stack of checks, so I can only guess she was slammed (and place might be understaffed). The table behind us (with a different server) had issues with the order and the manager (from before) stopped by to address it while the sercer kept coming by to apologize. I'm not impressed with this place at all. Not sure what's happened but definitely has gone downhill since the last time I went (years ago). read more

The food is always good and the service is excellent. However the restaurant chain is bordering on false advertising. I regularly receive coupons in the mail but every time I try to use the coupon I get the same story, "The coupon doesn't apply to that item." As the last three times I've been to RT my coupons have been rejected. Of course one does not find out that the coupon is worthless until it's time to pay. read more

The food was delicious. However, what prompted me to write the review is that we had left the highway for a quick meal. We were in a 26' u-haul truck with a car on a trailer behind it. We had pets in the truck and didn't want to leave them alone and had nowhere handy to park so we were a block away on a road paralleling the burger king. I ordered the food to go. The bartender offered to bring the food to the car when it was done. I declined because we weren't in their lot and I didn't want to inconvenience him. He said it was not a problem, asked where we were parked, said he be out shortly and he was. The food was packed well, with napkins and utensils. It was the perfect thing at the time and we were grateful for a bit of help when we needed it. read more
