Lindsey got us a table within 30 minutes and service was excellent. One steak order was not satisfactorily cooked. Apologies and he returned a replacement within minutes. Being from Kansas City I'm more a fan of independent steak houses and know a good steak. I've tried the other one , but not even close to Longhorn. The food was good, especially the lamb chops--they were seasoned perfectly, my favorite way. However, I sat at the bar and felt somewhat overlooked, like an "Orphan Annie" among the regulars. I understand the regulars have established relationships, but it would be nice if that same attention were extended to others. The only time anyone checked on me was the manager. While I did receive a discount, I still felt shortchanged in terms of the overall experience. This is just my personal experience. The lamb chops were excellent, but if it weren't for that, I might not return for a while. My sister and my brother-in-law were celebrating his birthday today and she ordered the soup and salad. When she received her salad she found an entire plastic glove in the salad!!! How gross!! How nasty!!! Never never will I go there. This shows me the people behind the scenes are nasty and just don't care about quality. Someone had it on, lost it and did not give two cents that they lost it in salad. Oh my. My sister sent me a picture that I will post. The manager did not charge her for the salad. We came for Date Night "Double Lobster dinner" last Saturday night & when we walked into the bar to wait for our table, we couldn't get any wine, bc they were out of the only one they have that I will drink. The manager quickly came over & tried to explain why he didn't have any booze, supply chain issues, bla bla bla. No Bueno Rustler. Should have been a Cowboy... You came & spoke to me & my husband about your liquor problems. We have gone to Longhorns twice in the past month with guests from out of town. Both trips were great! Our steaks were cooked to perfection and mine was fork tender. We were served by an angel named Gracelynn, both times. She was personable, humble, efficient, and friendly. She even surprised us with an anniversary dessert. The restaurant was clean and pleasant. A chain restaurant. A little pricey A little over the top in decorations but it is a steak house. Clean restrooms. We were quickly seated. The waiter came to us within a few minutes. He gave us time to enjoy the appetizer before the main dishes. Very attentive. He kept my tea glass full. My steak was spot on for medium rare. Not overly salted. Right amount of spices. I ordered salmon with asparagus and a bake potato. In my life, no restaurant I've ever been to has served me so many, they were delicious but I couldn't eat them all. All the food arrived on time and hot. The waitress very attentive. At first when we arrived they sat us at a table where there is no light, those at the table in front used their cell phone flashlight to see the menu. But we asked that they move us to a both because there is light there, sorry, but I want to see what I'm eating. I recommend that you bring a good flashlight in case you feel yourself in one. Otherwise we had a great time, we were so full that we couldn't eat dessert. It will be for the next one, because we are going to return. read more

Food was great as usual at all locations. I was with family for my birthday and didn't want a drink until after I ate. Long story short I went to bar to order my wife a margarita and myself a shot of patron the bartender who barely looked of age to serve drinks told me I couldn't order both drinks. As if my wife had to be at the bar ordering her drink beside me in order to get my shot at the same time. They actually denied me the shot for over an hour. As I marinated in my anger I finally went and said something to management and the treated me like I was a spring breaker trying to circumvent their(I'm 42 now) one drink at a time policy. So after all that time they finally poured me my first birthday shot and proceeded to serve it chilled(anyone that knows they water it down with a ice cube) without me asking and it's the tiniest shot I think I've ever seen for $12. I was inclined to pay obviously but thought to myself they would probably offer it on the house for the trouble they put me through on my birthday in front of my loved ones, instead they made a huge deal to add it on top of the $450 bill we had already paid . So I handed the water cap shot back and told them not to put this on my bill. The server was fine. Bartender and management horrible. Ordered 8oz steaks -Cooked perfectly My strawberry salad was awesome, they did forget the dressing but once I asked the waiter he brought me some right out. Loaded baked potatoes were very moist and good. Ordered a side of the fire cooked corn- very good Bread was hot , drinks were kept filled. They made me some creamed horseradish for my steak as well. The "curbside" take out is a joke. I got there at 3:30 (the order had been ready since 3:00) checked in and waited. They weren't busy. After 6 minutes I went in to get it myself. How this place does not have 5 stars across the board is beyond me. I LITERALLY swam out of my car during the flash flooding that happened down here afraid I was going to die. I went here to get some food so I could function after almost 36 hrs with no sleep. The staff was so incredibly kind to me. They comped my meal because I was a local who survived the flooding. What other restaurant does that? My tip was generous as it should be. The staff was also very funny and friendly and the food came out quick and was DELICIOUS. read more

I ordered shrimp & lobster chowder and their burger, my friend had a steak salad. The food took a really long time to come out. I was getting worried about the airport. But even it finally came the soup was tasty and the burger cooked medium as requested and it was pretty good. No complaints from my friend and we ordered take out for her husband as well. I always stop by the Longhorn in Pensacola. It's directly across from the hospital so very convenient. The staff is always very courteous and accommodating. And their steaks, IMO, are the best of any chain steak restaurant. Consistently well seasoned, nice cuts, and cooked well. I order the ribeye, and it has been my go to steak with incredible taste and always cooked correctly. I typically pair my steak with a Caesar Salad and Steamed Broccoli.
