From the moment we entered we were disappointed. With less than 1/3 of the tables full we were told 4 times someone would be with us. We waited and waited. When to this Ruby Tuesday's for a early dinner when I was in the area. There was only one other party in the restaurant when we got there. Me and my guest ordered the salad bar and two waters simple order. The salad bar was very fully stocked and restaurant in good condition. Our waitress Randy G seem like she was having a hard time clearing off our used salad plates. She also seemed to disappear can't say she was helping other customers since there was only one other party there and she wasn't assisting them After the salad plates were building up so much another waitress actually seem to notice the stack and was nice enough to clear off them off and asked us if we needed any more water. After our waitress finally appearing again she said she was going on a double shift and had to clear out our check since she was going on another shift she now and asked us to pay for our bill before we were even close in being done. Overall service with our waitress was one star but restaurant was four stars. They also had plenty of other waitresses there at the bar area just the customers weren't there. This was near our hotel and we know they have a full bar. The dinner bill was very affordable especially after a vacation in Florida and eating out there. On Sunday, July 29, 2024, at 4:50 pm, upon entering the restaurant I was warmly greeted by the hostess. She sat me at a booth to the left of the entrance way. Shortly later Talina, my food server, warmly greeted me. I was impressed that she had a table of six, a table of four, a booth of two, and a table of three, and took all their food and drink orders without writing anything down. Talina really hustle! I ordered a Strawberry Fruity Rita, large, a T-bone steak, medium, a loaded baked potatoe with the salad bar. I also order, as take out, a cheeseburger, without tomatoes, etc. for my dog. The steak had 3oz of fat and 3oz of bone; so, the amount of beef was minimal; yet, the amount I was able to eat was delicious. The potato was filling. The drinks were fine, not very strong -a little watered down. As a dessert I orders the fennel cake sundae, but I got the fennel cake, only! As Talina was practically the only food server, I accepted the error. As I mentioned, Talina really worked her behind off. So, I gave her a very good tip. Overall, the service has improved since two weeks ago, and in November 2023, and 2022, December 2023, and 2022., and September 2021. I saw a different manager who actually worked rather than be in the kitchen. The food was prepared well; yet, the steak was definitely not top quality, more fat and bone. This experience was a disaster from start to finish! We stopped in while traveling and wish we chose somewhere else. Most of the time we were there, which was over an hour, there seemed to be only one server working.. and she was also covering the bar. When it arrived, we enjoyed our food, but my husband asked for ketchup, since none was on our table. The guy he asked never brought it, and he had to find waitress in the bar to ask for it again. By the time he got it, I was halfway done with my meal! The bathrooms were both disgusting. The Women's was filthy, had a hole in the tiled wall, and had debris on the floor. The men's had a floor that was a fall hazard because it was all wet. It took forever to get our check because I used a coupon I received in an email and our server had to get it approved by her manager. I would not recommend stopping here to anyone. read more

The amazing salad bar is what draws us to Ruby's. We stopped on a road trip to get a healthier option for dinner than fast food and grabbed salad bar as takeout to eat in car. Yes, it's a bit harder than finger food and requires driver switches as only one can eat at a time. However it is much healthier. SALAD BAR The salad options are always amazing. Different lettuce varieties, endless toppings, and fruit and mayo-salad mixes. This visit, I was delight to find PICKEL CHIPS!!! They were like crunchy potatoes chips but had a thin pickle in them. This restaurant has little or no competition at this I-95 exit. Been to several Ruby Tuesday's in our area so we know the chain. The food and salad bar were average at best. The cocktails were decent. The main problem was the wait for food was excruciatingly slow. The big positive was our server Brandon. He was wonderful despite being " the messenger" for all the patrons wondering when their food was coming. His bright, cheerful demeanor made the wait bearable. Oooof. Passing through on a road trip, just needed a decent burger. Choices were McDonald's or Ruby Tuesday. I figured a sit down restaurant would give me what I was looking for. Now, I know I know I shouldn't expect much from a franchise operation right off I-95 in a rural town, buuuuut yikes. I was seated in a dingy booth under poor lighting and HVAC. The booth smelled like soda syrup and antiseptic. I ordered a hot tea, which did not come to the table until I asked again 5 minutes later, though I did receive a glass of water. My burger of choice tonight was a bacon cheeseburger. Even though I had ordered before others arrived in the restaurant, my order took longer than several other guests. After a rather bothersome wait, the server apologized for the delay and brought out the order. The bacon itself turned out to be bacon bits, from the salad bar. The cheese was half melted. The meat itself dry and rubbery. The poor vegetables on the meat looked wilted and sad. The fries had been sitting under a heat lamp for some time, and had lost most of their texture. I was here for lunch on a Sunday three weeks ago. There restaurant wasn't even busy and it took forever to be seated. There were multiple tables that had dirty dishes piled up on them. When the waitress finally came over she took our drink order and after about five minutes brought the drinks. At which time we were ready to order but she told us we'd have to wait. Finally after taking our order she came back probably 15 minutes later and asked what we had ordered. Terrible! My wife and I decided to stop in because we didn't want McDonalds. The hostess at the entrance was amazing. I asked her what she recommend and she provided many different options. Honestly that was the best part of the evening. We went to the bar to order and my wife went to the bathroom. She came out and told me the bathroom was disgusting. We placed our to go order and waited. The restaurant smelled as if they were mopping with dirty mop water. The floors were real sticky. After about 15-20 min the order came in. I ordered the chicken parm meal. With a side of broccoli. My order came in but there was no pasta. I informed the waiter and he went back to check. The cook proceeded to make the pasta. He cameback within 2 min with the pasta on a plate in a plastic bag. The pasta was then put in a to go container. The pasta had no sauce or cheese. The cook then put sauce and cheese on it. We had a nice server. Tried to order a ribeye steak and scallops. They didn't have scallops so they offered shrimp for 1 and agreed to snow crabs for the other. When the snow crabs came there were no utensils to help crack them and having weak fingers I was not able to eat a bite. The potato came with sour cream on top without asking and I do not care for that. The steak was okay and the salad bar good. I said I would pay for the steak platter without the crab legs. UNDER NEW MANAGEMENT!! We really enjoyed our early dinner yesterday. The food was great and the restaurant was clean. This location had fallen over the years becoming "a bar"chasing off those wishing to have a good meal. Myra and her staff, although understaffed, work hard to make sure you have a nice dining experience. I would have given a 5 star, but there are still a few mishaps with certain beverages not being available and upkeep of the salad bar; I'm sure this is due to not having the guests needed to keep things fully stocked, or possible inventory shortages due to COVID. So, if you stopped visiting this location because of it's previous conditions, go give them another try. You'll be glad you did.
