We had a nice server. Tried to order a ribeye steak and scallops. They didn't have scallops so they offered shrimp for 1 and agreed to snow crabs for the other. When the snow crabs came there were no utensils to help crack them and having weak fingers I was not able to eat a bite. The potato came with sour cream on top without asking and I do not care for that. The steak was okay and the salad bar good. I said I would pay for the steak platter without the crab legs. So, we were getting a visit from Reese, the manager. She was pleasant and told us they are not a seafood restaurant and people use their fingers to open them. Well, I had no luck with that. UNDER NEW MANAGEMENT!! We really enjoyed our early dinner yesterday. The food was great and the restaurant was clean. This location had fallen over the years becoming "a bar"chasing off those wishing to have a good meal. Myra and her staff, although understaffed, work hard to make sure you have a nice dining experience. I would have given a 5 star, but there are still a few mishaps with certain beverages not being available and upkeep of the salad bar; I'm sure this is due to not having the guests needed to keep things fully stocked, or possible inventory shortages due to COVID. So, if you stopped visiting this location because of it's previous conditions, go give them another try. You'll be glad you did. First off, the location is sketchy and near a motel that looks like drug central. There was no hostess when I walked in. No sense of urgency. The staff was cordial though. Let me start by saying this is my first bad review. My husband and I go often and had great experiences. I contribute all of the good times to the only person we allow as our waiter Shania (not sure spelling). But tonight 2/27/25 was to say the least the worst ever. We order long island for drinks had top send the first one back because it was clear yes clear and tasted like water down lemonade. The second was not great either and was told add lemon and lime to fix it. We order buffalo wings it came back brown not red so I ask for sauce, it was pretty busy so I understood it was going to take them some time to bring it so I got up and got it myself. Our meal was triple smashed buger with bacon yeah well we got a burger on hoagie bun no bacon and cold fries. They order new fry and bacon but by the time the fries came out we were halfway done and the bacon never showed up. I spoke with manager CANDACE and she was rude as hell. She told me bread was bread and that we shouldn't be complaining. After back and forth she wanted to take off for the bacon smh. I stil left my girl a good tip as always but it was a nightmare for the price we paid. That manager needs training or a new job if she hates the one she has. We wont be back no time soon. It was New Years Day we were traveling back home from Tennessee and stopped to grab a bite to eat around 6pm only to be greeted at the door with a person saying WE ARE CLOSED WE RAN OUT OF FOOD. Oh my word! Worst food and service I have had to date. I have never left a negative review before but here is the first. Salad bar was terrible. Only half full, no plates and no condiments. Waited 30 minutes just for a plate and they never did put anything back on the bar. Hour later we got the soup that was terrible at it best. Well they were out of Turkey burgers so I ordered crispy chicken and tomato soup my fiancée ordered chicken sliders with broccoli cheese soup. Really, really awful!! Should have heeded reviews, but it was the FIRST recommended from Yelp for Wayneboro, GA. It was SO bad. Got appitzer plate-couldn't eat the spinach/artichoke dip. Very old, reheated multiple time. Honestly, nothing on the platter was good! Instead of marinara for the cheese sticks-it was COCKTAIL SAUCE!! Really-anything the same color was okay? No lettuce or crotons (they tout the croutons) on the salad bar. The soup took so long, ( it was a half cup) I told my husband I'd wait in the car. The cheese and bacon for the "Loaded" baked potato soup came after he finished. The food was really, really bad!! I felt so sorry for the waitress. I KNOW she was embarrassed. The reviews for this place are really bad. We didn't look at those before we stopped. My wife and I were driving late at night from South Carolina to Florida and needed something to eat. It was about 7:30 or so on a Sunday night. We walked in and the hostess said it would be 10 minutes or so. I looked and there were A LOT of empty tables on the one side. She said "there is only 1 server on that side and we don't want to over whelm her" WHAT?? We finally sat down and Waited..... Waited....and Waited. Another server from THE OTHER SIDE of the restaurant was walking by and said "has anyone been here to see you yet"? We told her no and she said "it's ok, I'll take your order". My wife ordered a chicken dish and I ordered the full rack of ribs. We got up to get my wife her salad from the salad bar. By the time my wife was done with her salad, the server was bringing our meals. Truthfully, the food was really good. We noticed 1 server in the area we were sitting in. She had a pony tail and looked liked it was her first day. Not very attentive to the 2 or 3 tables she had. Glad she wasn't our server Got the check and paid the bill. It was a "buy one get one free" offer they had. Tipped OUR server and left. Our servers name was Talina T and she was awesome. Sad she had to take care of us from her section on the other side of the room but she was amazing They get 3 stars based on her attitude alone. I will mention, when the hostess was sitting us, we passed by an eaten chicken wing on the floor. The hostess was in the area SEVERAL times during our meal as I watched her cleaning tables. By the time we left, we walked out the same route we walked in and that same chicken bone was on the floor, right in the open. The server walked out on us (and a few other tables) after delivering our meal and never returned. Then proceeded to use the restroom while waiting for our check (which we waited 30 minutes for) and the stall in the ladies room was overflowing. Then asked 2 other servers for our check. When you drive into the parking lot and there are no local license plates, believe the 2-star review average. If I could give it a half-star, I'd still be disappointed I couldn't make it a quarter-star. This is one of the most mismanaged restaurants ever: no silverware, salad bar half-stocked and going down, two bartenders for five customers, possibly four to five servers but our server was working tables all over the restaurant. She couldn't keep up with orders and had no help that I could see; what I did see were a number of employee-looking people hanging around the bar having a nice time. Meanwhile, a couple across from us asked for butter five times and the table across and behind wanted to leave but could not get their ticket. Everyone had to ask for silverware, which was rolled up into a napkin when needed, but not for future customers. After having some salad and a couple of soft drinks, and realizing after 30 minutes that the main portion of the meal was not coming out soon, we stopped the server, told her we were done, here's $20 for what we had, and walked. If you ever find yourself in Walterboro, SC, go anywhere else for food. We should've gone to Dairy Land or Cracker Barrel or any of the other, better-rated places to eat. I hope some local eatery will hire our overworked server and show her how the real thing operates before she's too burned out to ever try serving again. read more

100 percent happy with our carry out order. My wife got the chicken tenders which she said was very good. I got the Hickory Bourbon Salmon. I was surprised at how good the salmon was - among the best I've ever had. Baked potato was prepared very well along with a crisp salad. Excellent staff here too when I went in to pickup the order. I have not been to a Ruby Tuesday for a couple of years but now I'm going to use their carry out more often for sure until we can all eat safely indoors again.
