I usually don't complain but my experience here was awful. We got our appetizer before our drinks, the waitress kept disappearing, she would say that she's going to refill our drinks and then disappear for upwards of ten minutes and then serve the tables next to us then refill our drinks, my wife asked for A-1 sauce and was given an empty bottle, when we were done the table next to us asked for A-1 so the waitress came to our table and said I'm taking this, my wife replied that it was empty when she got it, we waited about 20 minutes to get our bill after we were done, all in all it took about an hour and a half to complete our dinner. I received this comment below so I sent 3 emails per their instructions and it's been days and haven't heard anything. Update, I sent the email to the address they provided below and it's been a week with no response so maybe they just post this to make themselves look redeemed with no actual follow through?? read more

This place was little run-down with holes in the seats. The salad bar is always delicious. Not a huge fan of their menu though.

Note: I believe there are 2 Yelp listings for the exact same Ruby Tuesday's location, so I'm copying and pasting this from my other/original review. Giving this location a 2-star review merely because I enjoyed my meal but service was definitely lacking, overall. Our waitress mentioned that she was new and I honestly think this might be her first job as a server, so we cut her some slack and still made sure to tip well. As for the food, we ordered the Philly Cheesesteak Potstickers as an appetizer and, while they were tasty, the first batch brought to the table (after a 15 minute wait) were stone cold and had to be refired. And I put together a really delicious salad from the Garden Bar, but not before having to request that a number of items be refilled, which didn't make much sense because there were no less than 3 hostesses/waitresses at the hostess stand the entire time we were there (it's right in front of the Garden Bar: if you see lettuce, dressing, etc. is low/empty, common sense would tell you to refill it). Oh, and the Broccoli and Cheese soup was on-point, as always. So, we'll probably be back because it's the only Ruby's even remotely close-by, but I hope they step it up in the service department next time. read more

Couldn't tell you I never got my food until everyone else was finished and ready to leave. Waitress forgot to put in my order and had to wait on a potato to be microwaved. I did get a bite of my wife's steak and mashed potatoes. Steak was the right temp but extremely tough. Potatoes were skinned over heavily from sitting under a warmer. read more

My wife and I came to Ruby Tuesday's in Wytheville, Va. Our server was Talon, he did an excellent job. He remembered our order to perfection without even writing it down. He was extremely friendly and engaged in conversation with myself and my wife, making it a very comfortable atmosphere like I was with friends or family. Talon kept our drinks fresh and constantly checked how things were. When our food was served everything was a hundred percent correct with not one flaw. Talon kept a smile on his face and I observed him engaging all his tables the same way. As we completed our meals he quickly and efficiently removed our plates. Talon did not miss a beat the whole time we were there. Talon is definitely without a doubt the star of the show at this establishment. I will give much credit to where credit is due. The food was cooked to perfection, the other servers and hosts were outstanding as well and I noticed them doing a great job as well. The restaurant was extremely clean. I travel a lot for work and I feel all restaurants should model themselves around this particular store. I love to see so many people take pride in their jobs. Once again I will say Talon is definitely the star of this store and I can hope one day this young man is running his own store, cause I know it would be a delight for all those working with and for him. We stopped here on a road trip to Nashville. The food was adequate-everything you would expect from a Ruby Tuesday's. We started with the chips and queso...this I would not recommend. We both had one chip and didn't have anymore because of how awful the queso was... From there I had the salad bar with the a veggie trio-green beans, mashed potatoes, and grilled zucchini. The salad bar was really well kept and all the veggies were fresh. My sides came out shortly after the queso and were warm. The zucchini could use ALOT more seasoning. The real reason I am giving this place a five star rating was because of the service. The hostess was super sweet and energetic despite us arriving an hour before close on a Thursday night. Our waitress Brandy was super speedy and gave us excellent service. When we left we were invited to come back it...just excellent service. read more

As of yesterday, this Ruby Tuesday location is starting to slide and sit down at the bottom of the barrel like all the others ones. The staff are still sweet and mean well, but their vision and attentiveness has faded. The salad bar's onions were rancid and semi transparent, the lettuce selection was wilted and was starting to show that aged reddish color. Gross. Tilapia was bland and tasted boiled! I also liked how the server shafted us and charged the full, regular price for one of our drinks that was ordered without alcohol! Besides a longer wait than I would of liked I understand there is a major staff shortage basically everywhere across the country. The food was good, they took good precautions to keep things clean and sanitary, and despite the wait the staff was friendly and courteous. read more

Let's face it, there aren't many good places to eat in Wytheville. I can probably count them all on my fingers. Ruby Tuesday isn't the greatest, but in this town it stands out because it's edible, not greasy and offers a salad bar where you can get something healthy. The service here is average, but the food remains at par with all the other stores in this chain. It's a great place to bring the family for a burger (or turkey burger) and better than average sides. Probably wouldnt come back. Salad bar was very good, very fresh!. Gentleman refilling frequently. Unfortunately $5 I paid for salmon with my salad bar, salmon was prob barely more than 1/2 cup. - dont do the $3-5 add ons. Not worth it! Generally speaking the town this Restaurant is located in literally shuts downs on Sunday. Although this is not a good reason in my mind for their poor performance at least its a possible reason. Food quality was just ok. Bartender was inexperienced and overburdened with too many tasks. They ran out of glasses to serve drinks in and the restaurant was at 25% capacity at best! Food order delivery time was beyond slow. Overall, poorly staffed, poorly trained, average to mediocre food quality. read more

Due to Covid 19 this location had just opened when we were there. It was almost 2 hours to get seated and food. That said they are trying so hard. Be patient. The staff was very friendly and tried hard to accommodate! The manager was hustling and went to every table to see how they were. To me any negative comments would be due to circumstances beyond their control, so I have none. read more

I give this three stars only because it's a chain restaurant. The food at this particular Ruby Tuesday is always good. Their garden bar is always fresh and every entrée I've ever ordered here has delivered. Way better than Applebee's! Their chicken Parmesan dish is amazing. That's what I always order. Ruby Tuesday has the best salad bar around. I cannot think of anything else they could put on it. It is always fresh and the salad bar is always clean. The serve great hamburgers and french fries and steaks, also! The waitresses are friendly but the wait for your food can be as much as thirty minutes at times. My cousin and I decided for a light lunch so we came to Rudy's where we both got the salad bar. But let's start from the beginning . As we try and pull into the parking lot the manager, Jack, almost T bones us in the parking lot. Wasn't watching where he was going at all. Well we went inside and got seated. Waitress came to our table within 5 mins and took our drink orders. Took another 10 minutes to get our two waters with lemon. Finally time to hit up the salad bar which was very much a disappointment. The lettuce was all wilted and the veggies dried out. Ruby Tuesday is surprisingly vegan friendly. They have the unlimited salad bar with amazing toppings and the vegan dressings are the balsamic vinaigrette and the oil & vinegar. They have the option of getting the veggie trio which is 3 sides and unlimited salad. I ordered the spaghetti squash without cheese and the grilled zucchini. The food was absolutely delicious and the service here is IMPECCABLE! All the waitresses were all so sweet and made sure we were all satisfied with our food. This is by far our favorite Ruby Tuesday's! I've been to several when traveling and to the one in Christiansburg (50 minutes away) and none of them compare. The staff is attentive and kind and their food is almost always perfect! We eat here all the time. read more
