I can't say enough good things about this experience. He was friendly, funny and extremely knowledgeable. The quote was fair and the work was done quick. He also alerted me to the fact that one of my tires was dangerous to drive on, even though he was not going to be able to make a commission on that sale. He alerted me just because he's professional and was concerned for my safety. I highly recommend this place. I will definitely be returning to Kenville automotive.

Feeling desperate, I agreed, but quickly came to my senses and called back to tell him no. So he tells me that it is already been installed, but he can put the old one back in. Fine, no problem(btw I paid half at Etd in kinnelon) so I arrive at the shop to pick up my car and I asked if he could jump start me so I could be on my way and he replied "no, sorry we dont have a jump box". Are you kidding me? That's right, He charged me $70 to install and uninstall a battery and left me in his parking lot with a dead car. I had to call someone to come and jump me. What kind of man or human being for that matter does that?! He is the worst kind of business man and I advise everyone to stay away from this crook. I took it to my mechanic thinking it was a malfunction. The lightbulb was literally hanging out, which the mechanic confirmed someone messed with it. There was no reason for C & L to touch that headlight. I ended up paying to replace the bulb. I would not trust these people with any of my cars ever again. Shady if you ask me. Easily the best repair shop, no question about it. I went in with a really loud noise while…read moredriving. I was told by a supposed expert that it was a major transmission issue and that if I didnt fix it for 4k soon I'd be out of a car. I couldn't accept that outcome, the cars only worth about 5-7k as is. I went to CKO for a second opinion. Pretty quickly I got a call from Dan over at CKO telling me that the transmission is actually in good shape all things considered, and that the crack and leak they alleged it had didn't exist. The real problem? A few things unclipped that were digging into my wheel well. Dan and Colin worked together to identify the real issue while thoroughly examining the alleged issue and ruling it out, all in amazing time. They added the clips, and the noise was gone. Honestly, the cars driving better than it has in a long time after they did that. This experience really made me question all the other work I've had done recently from other mechanics that pushed me into it. I think they just thought it'd be easier to convince me because of my cars age, but Dan and Colin kept it honest, straightforward, and sent me on my way after clipping everything up. CKO is my new forever mechanic, so whenever I get any issues moving forward they're the first place I'm calling or heading to. With my location, I've got to skip about 10 other mechanics that are within roughly 10 minutes of my place, but I'm so happily driving the 30 minutes it takes me to get there no matter what the issue is from now on.
