I must say, Rudy on Duncan falls well short of the college location. Seriously, you guys need to up your game and staff accordingly to the needs of the time of day. We ordered in person and waited 20-30 minutes! As a result, the burgers were lukewarm at best. These Rudy smash style burgers need to be piping hot in order for the flavours of the meat to come out in full. They were definitely not here. That's what makes the burgers so incredible at the college location... the heat and the attention to detail of the staff! Rudy on College is a top 5 burger in the city and this location is most certainly a shell of that one. Sad to say but this Duncan location seems like a cash grab. The goal seems to be pumping out burgers left, right and centre to the business crowd. It was clear our burgers sat in a bag with no care for them from the apathetic staff, and got cold which was really disappointing. I had the rude dude and the poutine. The parties had a nice crunchy crust to them just how I like. The poutine was great. Never had it before then. Honestly don't know why it seams so odd of a mixture. It's really no diff than mashed potatoes and gravy, but the potatoes are French fried and there's cheese curds added. A+ burger spot. read more

For initial context, ordered the burger through a delivery app. First time having Rudy, have heard very positive things. Ordered Rudy burger with bacon and fries, totalling about $10.50 for the burger, plus $5 for the fries. Food arrived late and cold - not the fault of the restaurant, totally the fault of the delivery folks. All that said, and accounting for the fact the food was in less than ideal conditions to enjoy (again, the fault of delivery), the burger was a total disappointment. For starters, there really was no burger, as in I pulled the burger apart to confirm there was in fact any ground beef inside the sandwich (I honestly did this). It turns out there was around the edges, though very little, and in the middle there was a hole where there was literally no meat. Picture a wafer thin ground meat donut. With no exaggeration, the toppings (lettuce, tomato, bacon, cheese) physically would have weighed more than the burger patty. I was glad I added the bacon, as it provided the much needed protein, and actually turned out to be the star of the sandwich, which turned out to be more of a BLT with cheese than a burger (cooked really well, tasty... not that half-cooked stuff that makes an appearance on most burgers). Fries - not really fair to rate them, given the delivery issues noted above. If hot, they had the makings of being good fries. You get a lot of them, which was good because I needed the carbs to make up for not having a burger to eat. Will I try it again? Yes. Everyone deserves another shot, and it's not fair to write them off if this was just an anomaly. I would likely do it in the actual restaurant. If it is better the next time, I will update the rating, but for now it is what it is solely based on the fact I ordered a burger (for over $10, no less!!) and I didn't really get one. read more

Probably my favorite burger place right now. The place is small and so is the menu. The burgers taste great and is a good value for your money. I recommend going here and giving this place a try. read more

The beef patty is delicious and tender like no other but it's heavily laced with greasiness in fact it's so greasy that the buns dripping oil too. Buns thin, soft, pale colored, no grains, small size like patty hanging out. Not many toppings just patty, cheese, tomato and Rudy secret sauce. Personally, I found the burger tasty but not so great which make me wanna go back. Also, the burger lacks the creativity and toppings, sort of boring burger. But, I agree it's a no non-sense burger which gives you finger licking beef patty for sure. So if you are game for that then this is a must try. Yes, Toronto version of Shake Shack! They don't offer combos so Fries are separate around $4-5 - Didn't try Milkshakes $6-7. I tried very bad milkshake they just add Cadbury chocolate syrup.. waste of money. My girlfriend and I walked almost a mile to get this burger and it was well worth it. Two regular cheese burgers and fries were beyond what we expected. The soft bun and juicy burger curbed our hunger after visiting the towns remarkable tourist sights. Also, this was the first time we had ever had poutine so without anything to compare it to I have to say it was still very delicious. This place is definitely not a sit down restaurant at this location at least but more of a quick grab and go. Still for that I have to say the burgers were very good quality. read more

Not exaggerating, RUDY's burger is one of the best burgers i've ever had!!! I loved everything about the burger from the buns, patties, to the sauce - the burger was so juicy and flavourful (not gonna lie writing this review got me daydreaming about the burgers). They also have homemade brownies and since it was my cheat day, i went all out and got them as well and they were soooooooo good! I absolutely love this place, the only downside is that it is very small so it's more of a grab-and-go kind of place unless you want to eat at a cramped-ish spot. Delicious!! A really great burger and love their fries. Next time I have to try their fries with gravy, I saw people get it when I was leaving and looked pretty amazing. The only thing is that the wait is a bit long. I would try to order through Ritual next time but I actually prefer my burger without cheese and always hesitate to order something to exclude an ingredient in the notes incase they don't catch it. I might take the chance next time though! It's a small place so I prefer not to wait ~15 mins for a burger. Other than that, my go to burger place! Smells great from the outside. read more

This place is bomb. You can only order about 4 items from this location, which I am okay with because I only ordered the cheeseburger. The cheeseburger was delicious and juicy, and the slightly toasted bun was just the right amount of bread with it. I prefer this burger to Burger's Priest surprisingly. The burgers here are super delicious. However, the burgers are small, and the fries are generic shoe string fries. For what you order, it's a little pricey, but the flavour of the burger makes up for it. The service is good. I recommend giving this place a try. read more

This is like a lighter, less greasy version of in and out yet the burger is actually more fresh tasting, crumbly and thin with a nice burnt crust to it. Excellent burger. Not better than the P&L burger but still really good. read more

Toronto Life said this place had some of the best burgers in the city. Very good in the "smash" style of burger. Cooked on a hot griddle with crispy outside and juicy inside. I don't like any sauce on my burgers so I got it without the Rudy sauce and it was great. I liked the burger so much I ended up getting another as my only complaint would be that the burger is a bit small. Guess I'll have to go for the double next time! read more
