Very disappointing. Despite having sent my records both by email and in person, I kept being asked for them again. Sent a total of FOUR times, and was then told after it was too late to return that they needed an additional fecal. Was not told in advance that day play would be closed (deep cleaning?), even though I had spoken to them about the reservation several times. Desk staff was beyond rude and had an extreme attitude. Was overcharged by one day and dogs items were not returned on pick-up. Avoid this place at all costs. Cold. Rude. Did not even seem to like dogs. read more

Fact: I've never boarded my little furry baby before. Fact: I don't trust anyone enough to watch my furry baby. Fact: The Dog Lofts in Flower Mound are amazing! Boarding your pet here cannot be an easier. Everything you need is on their website. You make your appointment online, get a call from them confirming your appt. and voila you're good to go. I love that! I left Vincent, my little Cairn Terrier, here for 4 whole days. I was so worried something horrible was going to happen....but nope. I watched him when I could on their webcams and came to the realization that he was having a total blast playing with tons of dogs. It was like summer camp for him. They keep dogs separated by size...which I love. I don't want some huge dog chomping down on my little guy. And just in case anything was to happen they have a vet in the same building. The prices are great. Compared to Petsmart Hotel it was a steal! You can check out their price chart on their website. Be prepared to be pleasantly surprised. The staff all seemed to love pets and were very gentle with Vincent when he was checked into his new scary surroundings. The best part for me had to be the report card they give you after your pet's stay. It told me what other dogs he hung out with most, if he ate all his food and who he liked to tuck him into bed the most. So cute! Very Disappointed! This was the first time to board my dog and while she was there she was attacked by another dog. The vet told me the other dog was not welcome back, but the front desk told me that it was the dogs second time to attack a dog. My dog left with multiple puncture wounds, pain killers and antibiotics. Nobody was willing to comp any of the charges and they lacked empathy for the situation. I understand dogs can behave this way...just dissappointed in the companies lack of customer service. They could have kept me and my friends as customers if they had even shown in the slightest that it mattered to them. read more

Been taking my pup Biscuit here for about 4 years for day play, boarding and grooming with Charlotte. My baby never never looks back when I drop him off. The staff has changed from time to time but once they get to know my pup again we are all good. Something is comforting about them knowing who he is when he prances in the door. Charlotte is a great groomer. She is very personable and kinda just knows what to do with my baby. read more

**Update** We have added a second dog to our family and the staff at The Dog Lofts and City Vet still as amazing as always. We board our dogs here and see them for our vet needs. Every time I call they know who you are and are quick to answer your questions. I always love how to they call to check on Coco and Ginger! Such a great staff and great facility! I recommend checking it and tell them that Coco and Ginger sent you! We use the dog lofts for day play, boarding and for our vet needs. The staff here is amazing and gets to know and care about you and your pets. They have a great selection of dog and cat food, treats and toys. My dog looks forward to every visit. While the dog play area may not appear very big, the staff does a great job of keeping the dogs split up according to size and then match up dogs based on temperament. Coco always comes home tired from her day of play and is excited to be there as soon as we pull into the parking lot. When we have boarded her the staff is great because we call almost daily to check on her and when you pick up your dog they give you a great report that details what she was doing while you were gone. You can also add on day play at a discounted price. Anytime you get animals together there are bound to be problems, but there is always a staff member present watching and they have webcams available. I recommend The Dog Lofts and wouldn't take my dog anywhere else. read more

I want to start by saying that I have not boarded my dogs at dog loft. I'm relocating to Flower Mound from California and was looking for a place to board my dogs for a day, while the movers deliver my furniture and unpack my boxes. So I found this place online and had them give me a tour of the facilities to check it out. Because the place was run so poorly; I am compelled to write a review. If you care about your dog, please do not take them to this business. Con's: supposedly all the dogs get supervised play; well there was nobody in the room with the large dogs when they were roaming freely their "suites" contain of old, beat up wire crates or built in wired fencing. the dogs were standing on bare concrete floors; none of them had any bedding to lie on; just the wire crate bottom or cold, concrete flooring in the grooming area they had music blasting out of the speakers; how this is supposed to be friendly to dogs sensitive ears is beyond me they had an area where "blankets" where piled up. Basically 1'x2' pieces of shredded blankets - some of these where in the crates for dogs. I have small dogs and those pieces would be way too tiny for them; let alone sufficient to provide a soft spot to lay on. They have a room where they "inside walk" the dogs as they call it. It is a 5'x5' prison cell with urin soaked floors; some of the sub floors has been ripped out all the dog rooms were unsupervised; I did not see one person looking after the dogs, interacting with them or anything. This place is the most depressing "dog care" place I have ever seen in my life. I don't ever board my dogs and have somebody say at my house instead; I just need boarding for one day while the movers where in the house. But I just had to write this review; I have never seen anything this bad. Unbelievable. Please do not take your dogs here; this is worse than dropping them off at the shelter. read more

We had our loving mini schnauzer in the care of the Dog Lofts (Flower Mound) for nearly two years. We took him everyday to day play and used their services for boarding. He was blind and deaf and became terrified when at home for extended hours as he grew older. The team at the Dog Lofts provided a loving home away from home for him. His personality began to blossom, as if he were young again, and that can only be attributed to the care and love they showed him. The staff was prompt with updates on his progress. Provided daily reports and always seemed to go the extra mile for him and us. When the time came for us to put our sweet boy to sleep...the vet and staff was truly saddened. Some couldn't even visit him before he fell asleep forever. This is evidence they seek to build lasting relationships with clients as opposed to being truly driven by th bottom line. ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE BUSINESS Becky S. Absolutely Terrible!!!!! I had to board my dog for the holidays and unfortunately took him to the wrong place. First off, he was supposed to do day play with the dogs during his stay. I called to ask how he was doing because he is a very shy small dog. The staff gave me attitude and told me that they tried to let him play but put him away because he was scared. He was there for SIX days in a fricken cage that they call a "studio". I was told that they would work with him and try to make him feel comfortable in the play area...they tried once and then just said screw it! I was so disappointed. So, I call to see if he is eating and being fed correctly as I clearly explained when I dropped him off, they tell me two days before I could pick him up that he is out of food!! I fricken brought plenty of food and even brought extra "just in case"...where the heck his food went I dont know. I asked the girl onthe phone how this could happen and she just sat on the phonein silence like duuuuuh. I couldnt get a straight answer of how my dog was being taken care of and all of the staff had major attitudes. So, I pick my distraught unhappy lil guy up and they try to overcharge me! OMG my poor dog! I will never take him to the DOG LOFTS ( none of the locations) ever again and I will probably never board him anywhere again. I dont think I can trust any of these "Doggie Hotels". Whatever you do..DO NOT TAKE YOUR DOG TO THE LOFTS IF YOU CARE ABOUT YOUR PUP! read more
