Do not bring your dog here to get groomed. We have had two awful experiences here with their only…read moregroomer, Amy. I'm not gonna lie, she does a great haircut, but Amy is not a people person or a dog person and that's not someone you want to be your groomer! The first time I brought my dog in for her first haircut, Amy was very rude to me and didn't even say hello to my dog-she just took the leash and walked away with her. I thought it was very strange but didn't know since this was my first time bringing a dog to the groomers. I like to give the benefit of the doubt and thought maybe Amy was having a bad day and that's understandable. Then this most recent second time, I had my husband bring our dog and he had the same experience that Amy was very rude and didn't even greet our dog, give her a pet, or anything. When he was trying to give her instruction on the haircut we wanted, she responded with no expression "put her up there on the table". That was it and he left. After pick up, they recommend (for the second time) that I sedate my 10 month old puppy in order to give her a haircut. I recommend, instead, that Amy put a smile on it and at least pretend to like dogs so that my dog can feel more comfortable. She does not need to be sedated- She's a 20 pound sweet puppy at the groomers for the second time and doesn't know this lady that is not trying to build any sort of relationship of comfort with her. I shared my thoughts with the owner Susie who said they are well aware that Amy is not a friendly person, but that she gives a good haircut and is going to be there for the next 14 years. I said good luck with that and that we will be moving on from them as our groomer. If it's important to you to have your dog comfortable at the groomer, have a nice person grooming your dog who actually likes dogs, etc., do not use this place.

After 8 years with this location through several changes of ownership we are done. Last visit my…read moredog was cut and had a bleeding spot that took weeks to get back to normal. I know accidents happen and I got over it. Today my dog was dropped off at 7:30am with an appointment and he still wasn't done at 6pm. Marty apologized and said she was the only one working, but I never would have left my dog for 11 hours had I known this was how he would be treated. He was the 2nd dog in the door this morning and he should have been finished well before. A glance to the back shows half consumed beverages all over and dog fur from many different colored dogs all over the tables and floor. As if going the day with minimal bathroom breaks and no water (she blamed him for not drinking- my guess is that the water was dirty) wasn't bad enough, our little dog still smells disgusting. Like no shampoo was used or he sat in a dirty kennel all day and picked up a nasty scent. Just not acceptable. For $75 a groom, we will go elsewhere. As it is, I need to find a place tomorrow to bathe him as he reeks.
