Ordered a few pieces of furniture and a rug with pad; We were informed everything was in stock and should see items in about 6 weeks...After waiting over 15 weeks the furniture arrived but was MISSING the rug and pad!!! Rug&Home Buyers Beware!!! Shedding rug fibers - Ouch! We purchased a beautiful rug from Rug&Home a few years ago. Unfortunately, it continued to shed fibers throughout our home. We contacted a store manger a few weeks after purchase to tell them about our observations. We were told us that the shedding would soon dissipate. Even vacuuming the rug resulted in a bag full of more rug fibers. It has been over two years. Ouch!! We also went in-person in 2023 to the store and spoke to an employee who seemed to be aware of this type of rug problem. She assured us that it would stop as well but we've had no such luck. My advice to anyone purchasing rugs from Rug&Home is to question the staff up front about the potential for shedding fibers. They may not answer you honestly but perhaps someone will have a conscious. They also give a 3 day grace period to return a new purchase. Please do your due diligence (test the rug, vacuum it, etc.) and not simply admire your gorgeous new find. All that glitters is not gold!! Finally, Rug&Home did not care about our feedback nor did they offer a viable solution to our problem. Hopefully this post will prevent anyone else from having a similar experience. D. This place is amazing. I just moved and want to get my house together for the holidays. Lori Ann was fantastic. I had gone in once before but didn't realiz that it was right at closing time. No one told me and Lori Ann assisted me as if she had all day. I looked around and realized that they must be closing but found out that they were closed. I felt awful keeping her so I left. I went back in today with plenty of time to look. I was on the phone talking to a friend. I walked past Lori Ann working on something. I said hello and proceeded to look. I was on the phone so really wasn't looking for assistance. Next thing I knew she was silently behind me helping move the rugs to make it easier for me. How sweet that was. I got off the phone and we chatted. She had the guys take down the rugs for me. They were just as sweet. She gave me tips and pros and cons on my looks. She was incredibly patient, kind and helpful. I have to tell you that this is really the best place to buy a rug. They eve let you take the rug home and try it out for 7 days. You do have to pay for it but it comes with an easy exchange or return policy. They load it into the car for you. I had such a wonderful experience that I am trying out 2 rugs. What an awful experience. I entered the store and was welcomed by a very nice lady named Maddie who was quite helpful in helping me pick out a rug for my bedroom. It was quite an expensive rug, but had a large sale sign on it marking it down just into my price range. Great!.... until checkout. That's when we were told the rug was actually THREE TIMES more expensive. We showed the sale sign that was attached to the rug and had a matching SKU # assigned to it. This lady, Lynn, told me she had to check because she thought it was more. She scanned the rug three times and couldn't come up with a number - another coworker kept telling her it wasn't popping up. Throughout this whole experience, the staff did not explain the issue, they just ignored us while we watched them and tried to surmise what was going on. Eventually, Lynn comes up and asks, "did you think this rug was _____?" To which I answered, "well, yes. That's the price on the tag." She told us that while she COULDN'T FIND THE PRICE, she wouldn't sell it to me because she thought it should be more expensive. All of this was done with the worst customer service I've ever experienced and zero explanation about what happened and indeed acted like I was the one in the wrong for even thinking this rug was the price that they had it listed for. 0 stars if I could. I do not recommend this store. I went in looking for living room furniture. I was very excited when I found a couch that matched my needs. I also found a recliner and was torn between two colors. Gabe was helping us and when I asked if the darker of the two would look good he said "oh yes" . We took the chair with us that day, it was all wrapped up by the employees. The couch would take a few weeks to come in. We never unwrapped the chair we waited for the couch. Once the couch was in and we picked it up we unwrapped the chair. The two looked awful together and did not match at all. I immediately called the store and asked if I could exchange the dark chair for the lighter one. The chair had tags and everything. I was told no. My two pieces look awful and unfortunately I'm stuck with the chair. Do not agree with their policies about exchanges. read more

We bought 5 rugs of different sizes at this store along with two rug pads to prevent the two entry way rugs from skipping. When we got home we opened one of the pads to see if it did prevent the rug from slipping. It did not so we decided to return the pads. When we got to the store they would not take the opened one back. They pointed out that it said that on the receipt. But we had just spent almost $2,000 there and they were going to stand on that technicality for a $25 return. Very disappointed in the customer service. read more

Janice and Gabe were both great in assisting me to find 2 rugs. I took many rugs home to try, and ended up with a beautiful Hamadan rug and a plain one to complement it. The store was bright, clean and attractive, and the personnel were pleasant, patient and helpful. The rugs were not cheap, but they offer competitive prices in their quality range. They really want you to be happy with your purchases long term. They also have many additional rugs on their website. Note: I went to the Rug & Home in Kannapolis today to check out their rug selection, but it was sketchy looking, and the personnel there were unbelievably rude to me, so I'd advise sticking with the Pineville store. read more

We purchased 2 Italian leather sofas on October 26, 2021 that were coming from Italy. The sales person told me that it would arrive before thanksgiving we have called on 11/12/21 to ensure it was on schedule only to be told yes it was. Then when it didn't get delivered before thanksgiving I called on 11/30/21 and was told it was still on the water in a shipping container then on December 10th I was told it would be docking in a few days snd should be deluded by Xmas. Well I just called today on 12/19/21 and Josiah told me the same story it's still on the ship on the water and there is No way it be here before Xmas and they have a no refund policy and I have no choice but to wait. First they screw up our thanksgiving now on Xmas we will be taking turns sitting it the only 2 chairs we have in our living room. Apparently Scrooge is hanging out at our house. No furniture abs no customer service. If you are thinking of stopping to Rug and Home anywhere speed past and save yourself the grief. Extremely disappointed. read more
