Told him what I was looking for. Glad he did ask how much my budget was but he basically kinda followed me around. The place is big..kinda overwhelming.... The sales man didn't really help me narrow in what I want. I was seriously just looking for a plain beige rug to fill my living room because I have soft travertine floors. My kids play Legos on it and it's getting a nice beating. When I told the sales guy plain... He was kinda like telling me well ...people don't get plain rugs or else it wouldn't look like a rug. It will appear more like carpet. Well maybe... That's what I was going for! It was just frustrating because three's carpets in here with a price tag of $10,000 to as low as $800. He told me it was take 40% off the price tag on all rugs. There were areas of clearance rugs... Just FYI, if you have a sensitive nose, it's not pleasant in the clearance area... It was just hard to look at the prices this way. It makes me wonder if I can negotiate the price like how I would with car buying. It was friendly in here. Stayed a good 30min. Didn't find anything that screamed, "buy me!" Probably because there's just too many rugs... Please note that prior to coming here and I did message them via Yelp.... DO NOT BUY FROM HERE. The rugs are extremely poor quality. I purchased a rug in July 2022. 6 months later in December 2022 it already begun to show damage. It was normal use. In a living room in a house where we do not wear shoes in the house and only 2 people living here. I tried to clean and treat it but despite my best efforts it kept getting worse. In February 2023 I contacted the manager Ghandi and explained the issue and sent the pictures below. They would not help me in any way. They called it normal "wear and tear". Rugs are supposed to last more than 6 months ESPECIALLY for what you pay here (very expensive). Rugs look great at first in the show room but they will not last and the management will not help. I was a little worried when I walked in..I thought "here it comes...like a car lot"...salesmen running up asking if they could help...but it was very low pressure. The staff is is very nice and knowledgeable. I hate buying stuff online so I really needed to see and feel the area rugs. There are very few places with the selection RugsPLUS offers. They will take any rug off the hanger and let you walk on it. They have catalogs of rugs they may not have in the store or different sizes. I came here for my first time about a week ago, and fell in love with the wide range of rug selections they have here. (Wool, velvet, micro-fiber etc, in all recent and trending styles and colors). I went towards the consignment section, where Dan (store owner/manager) helped me look for the exact piece of furniture I needed for my new spot. Each piece of wood furniture they have here is EXTREMELY unique, and of the nicest quality petrified wood pieces. The one thing I really loved about Dan.. was that he made sure the piece I wanted was fit for my place and to my liking. I think I came back about 4 times returning and re-purchasing new items just because I didn't know what would fit in my space visually until it was set up. He was extremely patient with me, and was able to guide me towards selections that I had not even considered at first. Finally I decided on a teak wood bar set for my patio, after purchasing a wool rug from the rug section. I'm not kidding when I say these rugs/consignment pieces are about 50% of the rugs you would see on Houzz, Allmodern etc. I'm genuinely grateful that Dan helped me throughout my search. Each piece seemed to come with its own story, and he was willing to work with and around my budget. Most of the pieces come in sets, and the products are rightly-priced, without the quality being compromised. This place is really a hidden gem, and the guys really seem to know their clients. So I came in here about 7 years ago and bought a rug that was very expensive. The rug did not hold up and I later found it much cheaper at another store and was kind of upset. My husband really wanted to go in this store today so I went. To all my yelpers out there not much is changed... The place has a huge selection but I would have to say 60% of the rugs seem outdated. Stuff I would have seen in my grandmother's house 20 years ago before she died. I seriously will never go back to this place every time it here a huge disappointment. Guy, the GM was just the best. He showed us around the labyrinth of rug displays but the key was to show him a picture of what we were looking for. We had shopped around at Ikea, Home Goods, HD Buttercup, and a few other furniture stores but had problems finding a decently priced rug that would fit under our Cal King bed frame. There were still a few people shopping around at the same time as us. The salesmen here are very friendly, not pushy, and can answer any questions you have. On the regular floor, we saw rugs for 40%. In terms of pricing, then can range anywhere from a few hundred to thousands and tens of thousands of dollars. In the back, there's a huge clearance section with more discounted rugs. We ended up getting one for $120 that worked out nicely for our bedroom area. They have a huge variety of designs - everything from elaborate, Turkish, heavily-designed, to a more modern, simple look. At the end, they rolled it up for us, tied it up, and helped put it in the trunk of our car for us. If you come here, it can definitely be overwhelming - I'd highly recommend coming with an idea of what you may want and an idea for size, so they can at least direct you to the approximate location of things. read more

Saw this place off the freeway for years and as new home owners, we decided to stop and check it out on day. At first we were turned off by the presence and energy of the sales guys. They were closing and stayed open 5 minutes to let us look around assuming we would buy that day I'm sure. A week later we came back to look without feeling rushed. We were acknowledged by a different employee and showed us around but still not a good vibe/connection/energy with him. We were later asked by "Joe" Joven if we had any questions, and he was great! Former sales and customer service experience really showed and he was very knowledgable, answered our many questions as first time rug buyers/shoppers, etc. We found a couple we liked and he explained the reason for such different price variations based on material, how its made, durability, etc. We ended up taking a smaller size then we wanted home to check on color and before we ordered the bigger size with no returns, refunds, exchanges on custom orders. That was a helpful options that Joe gave us. Long story short, We ended up getting a nice rug at a great discounted rate, a discounted rug pad, and even a gift for leaving them positive feedback in their suggestion box.
