We went with Reno's Roofing after talking with a few other companies. Talked to Roger on the phone and he promptly came over to give me a quote. Price was very competitive, which was better than most quotes that I got. Quote didn't include any plywood, but he threw in 2 plywood for free (only had to replace 6 plywood total, so paid for 4). We got our roof done during busy rainy season, so picking a date was a challenge. The project itself went well. On the first day of the tear down, I was surprised how fast and efficient the team worked. By the end of the day, roofing materials were already delivered, damaged plywood replaced and underlayment installed. They finished the project exactly on time, as they said they would. He showed up 20 minutes later and it was the oddest thing, he parked in my driveway. When he came up to the door he asked if it was okay and I said okay, but honestly, I found it really strange and just didn't want to prolong the appointment. Upon inspection, he seemed very knowledgeable and personable and did a pretty thorough inspection taking pictures and videos of the roof and surrounding areas. As mentioned, I am the type to obtain multiple quotes, so I expected that after he did the inspection, we would go over his findings and a few days later I would receive a quote. After he did the inspection, he showed me a video of something the other roofers didn't, which was nice as I like a thorough job, but then said he would be in touch with a quote. I received a phone call a few days later asking to discuss findings, but when I called back, I got an AI bot which was then followed up by a call back from a real person. Oddly enough, when they called, they literally said nothing. They asked if it was a good time to talk and I said yes but they wanted to talk when "my husband was around." Even though I said it was a good time, they said they would call back. I followed up via Yelp message. It has been over a week and I have yet to receive any quote from them.
