This is a remodeled store with lots of new perks! There is lots of parking available for shoppers as well as handicapped spots. The produce and deli sections are some of the first things you'll run into. The produce is usually well stocked and has things I don't see at other Schnucks. The deli section is fairly large with lots of staff so you don't have to wait to order. The deli staff is helpful and quick. There is a hot section, a prepared foods cooler, and a beautiful cheese cooler where you can find anything! The Bakery section, while small, has everything you need. This is a large store, so if you have trouble walking long distances, you might want to get a motorized cart as you enter! I'm used to one person maybe being polite or nice at an establishment but everyone there was nice and helpful beyond the minimum. At least five people made me feel like my finding what I needed was their priority and left me feeling well served and appreciated as their special customer. After Shop and save closed I was left without a lower price store to shop at but the service at the Crestwood Schnucks is worth considering. It is a very clean and bright store as well. read more

More unique then i've every seen. Huge selection of groceries, including hot foods, florist items, fruits and veggies, bakery items and prepackaged goods. They even have little restaraunts, cute graphic design and delicious. The little sliders from the burger place were impeccable. Pricing is good and the store is well-kept. Nothing out of place. Schnucks cannot figure out what they want to be. They lose on quality to Dierbergs and to service and value they lose to Aldi. They want you believe their commercials but they don't deliver - classic over promise under deliver. The family's ego and vanity shines through by actually thinking everyone believes them. Before Dierbergs and Aldi we were held hostage with no other choice. My family has been shopping here since the later 60s but enough is enough. The employees are clueless and those that are good the family treats them horribly. They are constantly out of certain items and the store looks like a warehouse. I've talked to some of the employees and they tell some they refused to provide modest increase in wages, while at the same time forcing them into a DEI mode. The family wants you to believe they are your hometown friend and for the working class, while putting more profit in their pockets at the expense of the customer and employees. When they started selling that cheap Asian Cod and other foreign products of inferior quality I decided to move my business to Aldi and Dierbergs. You have alternative - try them! read more

This is the best Schnucks in the area. The bakery selection of fresh doughnuts, bagels, and danishes is the best of all the local stores I have visited. The Kaldi's coffee shop always has Highlander Grogg. Great spirits selection. The store is always well stocked, and huge! I dropped off a few work files nearby and ran in here in the morning to pick up lunch for work. I got a container of blackberries and a Superfood Salad (kale, dried cranberries, nuts, edamame, etc with raspberry dressing). This salad was actually great. I loved it and I would definitely get it again and I'm picky. Really big and nice and convenient Schnucks. This is a pretty standard Schnucks for the area. It isn't the largest of fanciest Schnucks I've been to in St. Louis, but it also isn't shabby by any means. It has a nice selection of goods , a nice deli, and solid produce. The produce section is probably the best aspect of the store. There is plenty of parking and it is easy to spot off of Watson. The only thing I would say is a let down is the bakery. It is well below the standards of most grocery stores I've been to in the area. read more

This Schnucks location is one of the better ones in the area. The staff are very friendly and helpful and the store is clean and well-organized overall. I have only been here twice so far but each time, someone has always asked me if I needed help or made some small talks while I was browsing through some items. I am going to be doing my weekly grocery shopping here from now on and I am excited to announce that I really have no complaints so far. They have a good variety of fresh veggies, the location's remodeled look reminds me of the Richmond Heights location as far as the organization goes but with the lack of the big crowd (a major plus!), they have a better deli/lunch items selection available for purchase, the bakery is abundantly stocked with freshly baked items, and just overall amazing grocery store. What more could you ask for? If you live nearby, you should definitely come in and take a peak and perhaps buy a grocery item or two... Maybe peruse their wine selection. Pretty run-of-the-mill Schnucks. Easily accessible off Watson from either direction. Large parking lot where I've never had to find a spot more then 5 cars away. The produce section seems larger than the other local Schnucks stores and more spread out. Keep an eye on the expiration dates of some products. I find that most of the sale products are either already expired by a day or about to expire. This was the case on my last visit with 4/5 items that you wouldn't expect (like packaged cookies or packages donuts). Not sure if that's the case because this store is less frequented than the other Schnucks I've frequented. read more

I can't believe no one has reviewed this Schnucks. It is a good one! It's redone inside and really nice looking. The parking lot is big and no problem finding parking. It's located across from Crestwood Court on Watson by Best Buy. They have a huge produce department and bakery, bigger than most Schnucks it seems. I like the baked goods, especially the cheese bagels. The produce is always fresh and they have good deals on it. I wish they had more organic produce offerings (especially lettuce - they only have the cut packaged type). I buy most of my organic produce elsewhere. Selection is great and they often have 10 for $10 promotions. The self check outs are super convenient too. The cleanliness and niceness of this store keeps me coming back - looks so much better than the Webster location! read more

I love the restaurant they open in their stores and the new sushi store, which I prefer than my local Schnucks. Also the aisles are really neat and the staff will ask you if you need help on finding items if you need help. This Schnucks has great organization and just feels ready. read more

been an avid Schnucks shopper for over 30 years, and still to this day each new store I go into doesn't surprise me on the factors that I am looking for, friendly employees, a clean shopping environment, and fresh appealing food and grocery items on a regular basis all which factor into making me return year after year. This Schnucks is no exception, its super clean easy to navigate and the employees are some of the best around with their knowledge of the products and overall operations. One of the better Schnucks locations. Large, clean, what i refer to as a Super Schnucks. Reminds me of the Hampton Village location. None of the departments appear to be lacking, which I find at some of the city locations (S. Grand, Lindell). I came to this Schucks for flowers only, and the two women working in that department were extremely helpful and nice. I grabbed two bouquets, asked that they be wrapped up together in one big bouquet, no problem she said. She noticed one of the flowers in my bouquet was a little wilted (i hadn't noticed), and so she removed it and replaced it with fresh flowers from a different bouquet. I would normally post a good experience at this location but not tonight and I can tolerate a lot, I know people have bad days but the kid in the deli that was in the hot food, was so put out by the fact that an older lady was making up her mind about what she wanted, this kid waived the bag of dipping sauce in her face. I thought it was just frustration from dealing with an indecisive and obviously confused customer but he gave me the same attitude when I asked him a question and then gave me the same put out look. I should have said something in the store looking back, but maybe his manager will read this and maybe give him some training on how to be more tolerant and this can be a positive experience for him. read more

Schnucks has gone down a little bit lately; most noticeably in their produce Dept. Some of the produce goes off way too quickly despite being kept in pristine conditions. Some, like the potatoes are just plain bad when you get them. An 8 or 10 lb. bag usually has 50% of the contents rotting inside and must be thrown away. read more

Crestwood Schnucks has ruined shopping at Schnucks for me. Let me start by saying how absolutely friendly and helpful the staff is - I believe the issues at this store has everything to do with management and nothing to do with the employees. - 1. I shop here at least once a week with my children and every single time - not just sometimes - they have one main lane open with a long line of people. - 2. After waiting in an extremely long line with my children - the bagger is MIA, so I'm forced to bag my own groceries. Something I expect at a discount store like Aldi where the prices are a fraction of the cost, but not something I expect from a high end grocer such as Schnucks who charges full price. I choose to spend more at this time on my life, for convenience since I'm shopping with small children. - 3. I have purchased molded or rotten food here on several occasions. I purchased molded bread and when I went to exchange it, had a hard time finding a bag that wasn't molded in this brand. This is unacceptable. Someone needs to be doing quality control so I'm not having to double- triple check myself. Again - not convenient. I have also had to return rotten meat and produce purchased same day. I have opted out of purchasing certain produce on many occasions because what they are selling looks so bad. - 4. They are ALWAYS out of stock on staple items. This Schnucks is the absolute worst I've ever been to and would not recommend anyone to shop here. read more

Pulled a bait & switch in the meat department. Refused to cut a sirloin in the counter to 8 ounces for me...first time I've ever had a counter refuse that. Referred me to the front for an 8 ounce cut. None there. Just inferior, fatty 6 ounce cuts in packages of 3. I just needed a single 8 ounce cut. Go back to counter & person there grudgingly asks in back. Comes back with an already wrapped cut. Despite my gut instinct to not accept a piece of meat I haven't seen, I take it. When I get home, it's one of the inferior 6 ounce cuts with half of it fat from one of the 3-packs. My husband, who was a Schnucks fan, was angrier than me. He now refuses to ever shop at a Schnucks again. Meat person was rude, service was below par & of course the bait & switch was unforgivable. Never again shopping at a Schnucks. read more
