It was thick and very sweet. Fries were standard shoestring that also felt like they were store bought, but they weren't greasy at all. I'll try the wings next time. If they are not on special, they are pretty expensive if you calculate the cost per wing. Decent beer selection. Guinness comes from the can and they use the small 12oz tulip glasses. They do have a small selection on tap. Prices are reasonable, even for the specials, although the serving size is only good enough for a snack for anyone bigger than a 6th grader. Burgers seemed much bigger and plentiful from what I could see. Trivia on Thursdays is fun, although it is corporate trivia, which is not as much fun as personally tailored trivia that you see in some other places. They have lots of numbers questions or facts that no one would ever know because they are too detailed and the host generally does not understand the answers or mispronounces them. Definitely worth a visit if you are local, but don't come hungry if you plan to order a special.

It really is surprising to me how so many restaurants in the area that claim to offer "authentic Mexican" seem to care so little about the quality of their tacos. My chicken tacos were simply plain grilled chicken on tortillas with a couple pieces of radish and 2 lime wedges on the side. No cilantro, no onion, no cojita, and the tortillas weren't slightly grilled the way most people like. My expectations were severely dashed as soon as I saw what they looked like. I know how much Mexicans take pride in their tacos, and I believe Mexicans are some of the most culinarily gifted people walking this earth. So my question is why do so many Mexican spots, especially this new one, put forth such half-assed effort into their tacos. I hope the decision makers of this place read this and take my advice, sell better tacos. It's a nice atmosphere, decorated well, with a nice bar that has as big a selection of tequila as I've seen around here.
