OK there are few invitations that make me happy like an invite on a Chiva. If you are not familiar, a Chiva is a colorful Colombian bus and in this situation it is open air and a party on wheels. Just add a perreo playlist and you'll feel like you're at Andres Carne de Res in Chia...or maybe that's just me. My friend booked one for her birthday and it was the most fun time. You can book the chiva for 2 hours and it drives you around Miami and drops you at a destination of your choice. We drove around Brickell, Wynwood, Little Havana and ultimately got dropped off in the Grove. The bus has bluetooth so whatever musical vibes you desire for the adventure is totally up to you. You cannot bring glass on the bus, but you are able to bring drinks. They have a cooler loaded with ice for you and the staff is super nice. You can also bring food - but I'd suggest hand held things since you're moving a lot. The best part about the Chiva is that you can dance since there are railings and ropes for you to hold on to while the bus is moving. Do nooooot miss out on the chance to get your Chiva on. I am not sure what the capacity is but we were a group of 12 and it's pretty affordable - we each paid $43. TLDR - book a chiva and live your best life! read more

MUST DO!! Crazy fun! This was literally the absolute best party bus that I've ever been on and I couldn't imagine a better way to celebrate my 28th birthday this past Saturday. Originally, I tried to book the Rumbachiva but due to my procrastination, got the RumbaTrolley. The RumbaTrolley was equally as fun and the bonus is that it has air conditioning. Everything was seamless and easy with this company from booking, payment, locating the trolley, etc. We had the best and most lit host, Luis! He looks just like Drake so we called him that all night lol. He was so accommodating and went the extra mile to ensure that my group and I were having a good time. He even gave me his phone to just play whatever music I wanted and of course turned up with us. Our driver, Alex, was amazing as well and at times I saw him doing a little dance here and there lol. The Colombian bar that we stopped at was amazing!! I wish I could remember the name of it. Everyone was on the dance floor. We took our free shots, danced for a bit, then for back on the trolley to finish the route and our night. We danced, drank, and really enjoyed each other. Luis told me they have public tours so I'm interested to check that out. You don't need a club when you have a party bus such as the Rumbachiva. Just bring liquor and yourself. If I could give no stars I would. We rented the trolley 11 months prior to my daughters wedding and paid per schedule a few weeks before. The day of the wedding they called an hour before departure time to let us know the trolley was broken and they were sending a tour bus. No options. The bus was horrendous and did not fit through the neighborhood streets. It even for a tree while turning. I called the manager for a refund and he promised a miserable 150 refund.That empty promise was almost 2 months ago and no refund. Our party bus was over 15 minutes late to pick us up. Jose Povea (JP) asked us for a playlist and he played a ton of his music that the group was not even familiar with. Shortly after the bus picked us up we could smell Marijuana and come to find out JP was smoking in the back of the bus. We had a double birthday party we were looking forward too. The head of the party was going to book online the person that helped her over the phone said not to worry he would book it for her over the phone. They asked for her to call on Monday to confirm the amount of people, when she called she got the surprise that our reservation was cancelled. The reason was that we never left a deposit which is ridiculous since we were never asked for a "deposit" which we would've gladly given since we were a group 21 people. We tried to reason with them and all they could say is sorry you never left a deposit. This business won't make it far with this terrible customer service. Even after speaking with the owner they couldn't help us out in anyway. It makes the customer believe we were probably pushed aside for regulars or even for a higher bid. Rented a wedding trolley almost a year in advance for my daughter's wedding and 4 days before the wedding we get a call that trolley broke down. George said he'd send another alternative which he did. We had paid for continuous trips between hotel and venue, about 6 miles each way in Miami. Issue #1: Knowing the venue, George sent us a vehicle that was too big and was not able to enter the venue and needed to leave guests dressed in formal attire, including elderly with walkers in the street about 1/4 mile away. Issue #2: Neither driver nor on duty Rumba management spoke English or even gave a crap when I enlisted a bilingual translator. Issue #3: Driver refused to make continuous trips back and forth as paid for and had guests sitting on a bus for over an hour until bus was full, even with a sick passenger vomiting on the bus. Issue #4: Email sent to company after event and response back from George was lame and lacked genuine concern or remedy. read more

Seriously one of, if not the most fun I've had in Miami. My family visited from Mississippi, so I rented for a party of 15-20 ppl. Got a nice tour of downtown, south beach and wynwood before dropping us off at our final destination. The staff was super sweet and patient. My family gets a little rowdy especially when alcohol's involved, but the staff remained polite, while making sure everyone was safe. They really showed us country bumpkins a good time in the MIA! We booked it for my birthday with a group of 18 of my closes friends. Unfortunately, we weren't happy with the service provided by Luis our DJ/Bus Attendant. My bestfriend provided a playlist of music our group wanted to hear and he only played 3 songs and one of those songs he played twice and just continued to play reggaeton for the remaining of the two hours regardless of the many times everyone asked to please change the music. NOT EVERYONE IN MIAMI LISTENS TO REGGATON! Music is everything to a party and the vibe! We asked to extend another hour to see if we could turnaround the vibe but we the answer was NO! We were surprised since everyone we know that has booked the bus before said they got an extra hour for free or paid for extra hour. I recently booked the Rumbachiva bus for a private birthday party to celebrate my birthday. The bus fits up to 30 persons. It ended up being only 15 of us and we had the absolute best time. Jose, our host on the bus, was extremely accommodating throughout the entire process - pick-up, DJ'ing the music on the bus, coordinating with the bars for our stop and drop-off, he even ran to a gas station halfway through our bus tour to pick us up more ice! Our party bus tour was during Art Basel so we skipped on the Wynwood area due to the congestion, but went around Downtown, Brickell, and Little Havana. It honestly doesn't even matter what area you go through since you're so busy having a good time dancing and drinking on the bus itself. The seating on the bus was perfect - bench seating with tables with cup holders so everyone had a place for their drinks while dancing. We made a stop a Fonda La Chismosa for a bathroom break and shots of guara. This bar is a traditional Colombian fonda bar. At the end of the tour, we went to Los Altos - a Mexican themed bar/lounge. We enjoyed the vibe and music at this place so much that we spent the rest of our night drinking and dancing here. We will definitely be using Rumbachiva again for a future event. Had an amazing time with friends on the chiva. The music was great and the bus was spacious, we had about 17 people. They took us around Brickell and South Beach for a 2 hour long ride. The gentleman I was in contact with was very polite and helpful. The only downside was that they were an hour late. They did compensate the hour at the end by staying later, but it was not fun waiting for them after we had driven so far to meet them at the pick up site. read more
