Rumble has truly changed me in a way that's hard to put into words. Yes, the physical changes have been amazing. But it's been even more mental and spiritual than I expected. The discipline that's shown up in my life because of this place has transformed me. It's shown me that I can do hard things. Things I never thought I was capable of. I've tried so many different workouts. I love Pilates. But there's something about hitting the bag in a dark room, locked into my own zone, surrounded by other people pushing themselves, that feels different. The straight boxing days and the weightlifting days have both made a huge impact on me. When I first started, I felt disconnected from my body. I was carrying COVID weight and honestly didn't feel like myself. Now I'm the person at the 6am or 7am class, and people ask me if I box outside of here. That alone makes me so proud. I've taken close to 200 classes at Rumble and absolutely love the workout. While some classes can be less full, that actually creates a great opportunity to receive personalized feedback on form from the instructors. I've been a member since they opened in 2024, and it's hard for me to enjoy any other gym after Rumble. When I first started, I was not in good shape at all and couldn't do a burpee, pushup, or sit up. Since joining Rumble, I've lost over 30 pounds and gained a good amount of muscle (I'll still skip burpees on some days though). I also love that the workout is in a dark room with a club like atmosphere. It's nice to know people can't see how crazy I look while working out and I'm not hyper focused on my image or how I'm being perceived. I truly love all of the trainers, but Kaylee, Kari, and Joe are standouts for me. They've pushed me when I needed it most, and I've even followed Kari to Equinox and her private classes because she's an all star. I never thought I'd find a workout I genuinely love. I'm not a professional boxer and don't plan to be, but if you're looking for a fun and challenging workout, I highly recommend giving Rumble a try. read more

Rumble Boxing is a real treat because you get your workout done in 45 minutes and don't even feel it because it's so much fun. Lights are off, music is on, and the coaches are fire getting you through your workout; you'll walk out feeling great every single time. You start by choosing your own start to the adventure: picking to start either on the bags or the floor. It doesn't matter where you choose to start because the workout has you rotating equally between both sides so you don't miss a thing. The workouts are also organized weekly to hit upper body, lower body, and full body. The studio has lockers, towels, and a water bottle fill station. Bring your own wraps and gloves, or you can buy wraps and rent gloves if you forget yours or until you buy your own. The only downside is there are no showers at this location, so plan your visit accordingly. The coaches and front desk staff are friendly, helpful, and encouraging, creating a positive environment and community. People usually say working out gives you more energy, but for me I haven't found that to be true until Rumble. If you're curious, give it a try! read more

I am always looking for fun new ways to workout. I was scrolling on TikTok when i came across someone in a Rumble Boxing class. I looked it up and Long Beach was closest to wear I work. I signed up for the intro class which is free of charge. They followed up with me twice to confirm attendance. I showed up about 20 min early, I paid for the wraps and glove rental. You can preorder online if this is something you are serious in pursuing long term. The intro class was about 50min. 5 rounds. Each class is split up into 2 groups. 1 side is on the bags and the other is on the floor. Intro class is 5 rounds and the regular is 10 rounds. Intro class goes over punches and position. Every other class after that does a brief overview. The floor exercises are literal floor exercises combined with weights and bench exercises with weights. Typically itll be 3 rounds before you alternate with the floor side and vice versa. Since my first class, I have done a total of 4 classes. After my intro class I automatically knew this was something I wanted to continue doing. Everyone is friendly and helpful. Great space with good instructors. Very clean space. Towels and wet wipes are provided. Pricing, they have multiple packages. Just pick whatever works best for you. read more

I used to be a huge gym rat and then covid happened. I filled my house with the full gamut of gym equipment and had a little interest in signing up for a public gym again. One day, I strolled by Rumble, and it was something new to the area and a concept I hadn't tried before. My friend and I took a free first class, and I immediately bought a set of classes that same day - eventually upgrading to an unlimited membership. I've been there for over a year now and feel so much stronger. It's a nice balance of weight training and intense cardio. The layout is great - half of the room is set up with individual benches, and each person has their own set of weights (no scrambling around the gym to snag weights from a shared rack). The other half of the room is individual aqua punching bags. Time is split equally between weights and bags. They project the workouts on the wall so it's easy to see the set of moves you have to do. The coaches are dynamic and involved. I also appreciate that the class is done in dimmed lighting, so introverts - this one's perfect for you. It took me a bit of time to learn the punches, but trust me - once it clicks, it'll stimulate your mind and make you fast & strong. When you go all out, it kicks your a$$ too! It's good for boxing enthusiasts but also for people who just want to get a great upper body and cardio workout. I can't recommend Rumble Boxing enough! Oh Rumble. I had great results because I was consistent. Coach Eli and Kaylee are great they push you! Joe has the best music in the classes. HOWEVER a MAJOR problem (and the reason for my 1 the lobby music. As BLACK WOMAN it's hard to come to a place daily and hear music with N WORD and violence DAILY!!! And it was being played by non- Black folks daily. It's about respect for all because i am sure they would never play derogatory music about OTHERS - they'd be on the news and sued. You have to write an email to cancel and the email is not readily avail. I asked them to waive my final month because I just could not go back any more - its not about the $ but i should not have to go to a place that had been traumatizing. I have reached 46 classes with Rumble Long Beach and wanted to wait to write a review to give my perspective. A little background about me: I am a pocket-sized fun foodie. Some family health issues caused us to pivot, and what was normal to us no longer existed. Stress and depression pretty much took over. Being a full-time caregiver and leaving my new career in the beauty industry was getting to me in a negative way. I was "doom scrolling" on social media when a Rumble ad popped up. I was intrigued and inquired. The rep gave me info and prices. At that very moment, all I could think about was being able to punch something. The thought that I would be able to defend myself came second. I was sold. I picked the 8 classes a month plan since this was my first time back on a fitness journey. I've been on many fitness journey and tend to quit after a couple of weeks. I downloaded the app and waited for the gym to open. Unfortunately, my dad needed surgery, and we were not close to Rumble. I asked if they could pause my membership until my dad was discharged, and they worked with me to do so. I was finally able to book and took my first class. My first trainer was Kaylee. First of all, I've never boxed before. I was never able to commit to working out consistently and would just stop going. Kaylee picked a good playlist and taught us the movements we would be doing and what weights would work best. She counts down and lets you know when it's time to change up, keeping you in rhythm. You go at your own pace, and if you have health issues, let them know; they will recommend different movements to keep you safe. After that first class, I was hooked. I was hooked on the energy, the vibe, and the community here at Rumble. Kaylee is one of many trainers here. You got Christian, Joe, Kari, Amelia and Daniella. All the trainers are really good, caring, fun, full of energy, and positive motivators. I realized that I was really enjoying Rumble. I upgraded my membership to unlimited. I love the bench workout (the cardio we all need without having to run and ruin my knees) and then the bag time. I think I have punched my anger issues all out . I have made and will continue to make new friends who are also on their fitness journey. Rumble definitely has a place in my heart. It's my home away from home for an hour. 46 + classes in, and I have lost 8 lbs. I am blessed to be able to do a boxer sit-up (which was nowhere to be found when I first started). I am working out almost 7 days a week. My mindset, spirit, and body have evolved into the best version of me. I'm looking great and feeling great. My confidence has boosted. I work out in a sport bra. There's no judgement; just good vibes. If you are looking for a positive community to help you get back on your fitness journey or if you just want to try boxing, hop into Rumble Long Beach. I thought it was time for a review after my 20th class! If you're interested in a boxing/strength class, but not sure you're going to like it, sign up for a free class. Early on before the Grand Opening, I did just that. I initially started with 8 classes a month and liked it so much, I switched to unlimited. I love that since I started, the offering of classes have grown along with themed and now 60 min classes. It's an awesome workout that has you working mentally and physically. You'll switch from the bag with combination punches to the floor during a 45 min/60 min class. The floor has a bench that matches to your bag number, where you'll work with hand weights, work on your core, and complete a set of various exercises. The setting can be party like and your instructor will be at the top of the class working both the bag and floor side with instructions. The app allows you to pick your spot in advance. So, you'll know where you'll be before the class starts. I believe you can sign up for classes 3 weeks in advance. My favorite instructors are Kaylee, Joe, and Christian. They are super motivating and great at breaking down the routine. If you get lost, you can look up and it's displayed on the screen above. It's best to buy your own gloves. I bought my gloves on Amazon and my wraps at rumble. Towels are provided along with sanitation wipes. This spot is located in 2nd/ PCH next to Active Culture. Parking is free directly across the street or you can park in the structure, where you get the first 90 mins free. If you're looking for a high energy workout, this place has it! read more

Staff: The staff at Ruble Boxing are kind, attentive, respectful, knowledgeable, and professional. Studio: Front Area: The front space is bright, clean, and open, with free lockers and two spotless bathrooms. Classroom: The classroom is divided into two sections: one for bags and the other for the workout station with weights. The room is decorated with pictures of celebrities, which adds a fun touch. It's also incredibly clean, and they provide free towels--something I really appreciate. Members: Although I've only taken three classes so far, every member I've encountered has been warm and polite. Even those who prefer to keep to themselves are friendly and focused. I became a member of Ruble Boxing before they even opened because I was so excited. Unfortunately, I got sick, ended up in the hospital for a few days, and later had surgery. When I emailed the studio and explained my situation, the manager was incredibly understanding and kind. They put my membership on hold for three months, which gave me more than enough time to recover and get back to normal life before starting my first class. When I went in person to reopen my account, they were closed, but a staff member saw me and kindly opened the door. She quickly got the manager on the phone, and the manager patiently walked me through how to download the app and sign up for a class. That experience reassured me that I had made the right choice. Finally, after four years of not being able to work out due to my illness, I took my first class. I was so overwhelmed that I cried, releasing all the stress I had carried over the years. After class, I approached the instructor, Kaylee, to thank her and ask for guidance on which classes would be best for me. She was so sweet and informative, giving me the direction I needed. From the moment I walked in and was greeted, to the time I left, I felt safe, seen, heard, and appreciated. I wasn't just another bank account--I was a valued member. Long story short: Rumble Long Beach has been one of the best things that I have ever done. I am approaching my 100th class, and each one has been nothing less than fun, empowering, and therapeutic. That goes for the class itself, the instructors, the staff, and the wonderful people I have met along the way. I've done my fair share of fitness classes: Barry's, OTF, yoga, pilates, bootcamp, gym classes (Gold's and LA Fitness), and nothing takes the cake like Rumble. Not knocking the other classes, but Rumble has definitely stood out in the best way possible. What makes it stand out the most is the best fitness community that I have the pleasure to hit bags and lift weights with. If you're new to the boxing scene, it's completely normal to feel intimidated and worry that you won't be "skilled" enough to try. That's how I felt prior to joining Rumble. Plus, as someone with periodic knee injuries/issues, I definitely feel safe here even when I go all out. Everyone at Rumble will make you feel completely supported from pre to post class and there is absolutely nothing to worry about. It's really hard to play favorites of the instructors because honestly they're all amazing. If you're trying to catch a particular vibe, here's my personal breakdown of each instructor: Kaylee - Head coach, she will kick. Your. Butt. But in the best way! She's very big on form and very attentive to everyone taking the class, so if you're fresh to Rumble LB I suggest starting with her. You'll definitely feel well taken care of in her hands. She's so full of life and energy, and you'll definitely get that huge sense of accomplishment and confidence post class. You can never go wrong with Kaylee! Joe - OOF. Another coach who will definitely kick your butt. He'll call you out and for sure let you know when you can definitely level up on the weights. He's definitely not for the weak. The big thing with Joe is intention and purpose and making every move count! He really gets you to tap in and lay out all your burdens and excuses out on the bag. I definitely appreciate Joe for when I'm in an emotional rut. Kari - Ladiessss, you'll definitely have a great time with Kari. Her playlists are QUNT and I love the little dance breaks even when she gets you on the verge of plopping on the floor. She teaches the kind of classes that make you wanna go yaasss. Christian - This guy got jokes. I always laugh during his classes. He's super chill and gives off that older brother vibe. His classes are always a fun time and in my experience, he's got a lot of sick speed combos. Daniella - Another amazing instructor for the ladies! QUNT playlists and her classes are a good amount of challenge. She's also really good at keeping an eye on everyone's form and will gladly help you out. She's such a sweetheart in and out of the studio, very approachable! Last but not least, I have to shout out Nelita, Stacey, and Aaliyah. These lovely ladies will be the ones who will first greet you and give you the warmest welcome. Customer service has never been better with them and they will take good care of you every step of the way. Nelita brings so much joy and light to the studio as the manager and she's definitely down to join the classes when she can! If you have reservations about Rumble, don't. Just give it a try and you won't regret it! I say try everything at least once. If you catch me in the studio, please say hi! I joined Rumble as a founding member, and it's all thanks to their amazing manager, BC. From the minute we met, BC was welcoming, informative, and attentive to all my questions about the new studio opening. His warm energy makes me feel like a valued member of the community every time I walk in, and it's what motivated me to get three of my friends to join too. Rumble's 10-round "fight" structure--5 rounds of boxing and 5 rounds of strength training (my personal favorite)--is both challenging and empowering. What I appreciate most is that no two classes are ever the same. There are days that you can take themed classes as well as 60-minute classes too. Each workout is a new experience, and I leave feeling stronger, more agile, and confident that I could handle myself if the situation ever called for it. The facility is *immaculate*. From the spotless bathrooms to the sleek Rumble room and the vibrant murals you can see from the open windows, this location is impeccably designed. The lighting paired with the music and circuits sets the perfect vibe. It helps me get in the zone and focus completely on the workout--it's a viiiiibe! I also appreciate how thoughtful and creative the team is when it comes to making members feel special. They're so detail-oriented, especially when it comes to first-time class-goers. When I brought one of my best friends, they surprised her with "Happy 1st Class" written with her name and complimentary glove rentals. That extra touch made her feel so welcomed that she signed up for a membership on the spot! The trainers here are next level--impressive, experienced, and they bring the energy! Kaylee is one of my favorites because of how she breaks down the circuits and keeps the class amped. Christian also brings incredible energy that keeps me motivated throughout the class. And let's not forget the music--it's always fire and perfectly synced to the workout. Every class feels like a party while getting your sweat on. You need to do a much better job at putting clients first instead of pushing for sales. Back in May, I was out by your gym and saw a $79 promo offer, I purchased it. One of your managers, shortly left after (I wonder why). Long story short, her and I made a verbal agreement to what to do about cancelling and avoid being billed. 6 months later after attempting to dispute with my credit card, you took $200 from me. I wouldn't trust this gym ever If I was brand new. The classes are empty, real boxers don't go here and I'm not saying that people cannot learn about the sport. This is a nice new facility but lacking in customer service. Was told I needed to email them to cancel my membership, but was not told I had to give 30 day notice. Emailed them twice weeks before next payment was due but never even received a reply to let me know they received my email. Was charged another months fees for membership. When speaking with the manger was basically told it is what it is but he would cancel moving forward. I was only able to go to one class due to my work schedule, would have been great customer service had he looked at my history and offered to refund this months payment. 10 out of 10 do not recommend this gym. I joined Rumble LB as a founding member as I'd been waiting for a solid boxing studio / gym in the area. For some context, I've been boxing for about 6-7 years on and off. I value consistency in training, cleanliness, and genuine interest in a fitness community. Facilities: Everyone has their own bag/work bench, a variety of weights, plenty of fresh towels & wipes, glove rentals available if you're new/trying things out, two bathrooms, always a selection of merch, cool mural of Snoop and Long Beach on the walls. During the workout, there are fans and AC, but real talk--most of the instructors don't turn them on or only do it intermittently. Some people prefer this, I personally don't. But I guess it makes me punch harder? Parking is super easy if you come in the morning, a bit harder in the afternoons/nights/weekends--which is to be expected. Workouts: Style varies across instructors (see below) and focus varies depending on the day. But each workout I've ever attended has always been solid--whether there's 2 or 20 people in class (I go 3-4 times a week). Generally, you get to box half the session, work on strength the other half. There are longer classes on the weekends if that's your thing. I also once asked if they plan on integrating more advanced boxing classes and they informed me that's the plan, but their priority for now is in growing with the member community they've started out with. Mad respect for that. Community: All staff and trainers are friendly, helpful, and accommodating. They love to celebrate member milestones and welcome new folks with enthusiasm and excitement. I'm gonna mention a few by name here, only bc they're the ones I see on the regular: Stacy and Aaliyah - These front desk ladies are always quick to wish you a good morning/hello and they've helped me out with my many merch purchases. =) They are also the ones responsible for the celebratory milestone illustrations on the lockers. Kaylee - Kick-ass, polished, intelligent head trainer. Kick-ass because she'll push you, polished because she conducts her classes efficiently, and intelligent because she can explain the reason and functionality of the boxing / workouts in layman's terms or as a kinesiologist. This is important bc I find boxing to be a very mental sport. If you understand WHY you're doing something, you get better at doing it. Christian - My personal fave, probably bc his classes are more suited to my own personality. Not a lot of fluff. You go in, you get shit done, and if you're lucky, he'll throw out a random comment or joke that makes you laugh no matter how many more punches or burpees you have to do. Also knows how to pivot. One time someone set off a fire alarm at 2nd & PCH so we had to vacate the building in a middle of a workout. He said, no big deal, we can go outside and keep working. And so we did. Kari - Literally the NICEST, most positive person I've ever met. She's the one to go if you're bringing new people or are a new boxer yourself. She definitely checks on form, makes sure to mention modifications, and never stops encouraging you. I really enjoy the class structure where there is a balance of both boxing and floor/strength work. The atmosphere is very judgement free (low lighting) so I am able to do the routines to the best of my ability. Each class is also not the exact same which is great for repeatability. Lots of towels and wipes available which is great. Maybe the facility could use some more benches in the waiting area for the busier classes but beyond that the facilities are nice! Rumble Boxing fills a very good niche in my exercising needs. I have a very broad-based loosely self-scripted training program that, outside Rumble Boxing, includes stretching, isometrics, bodyweight exercises, yoga-like movements and kettlebells. I do very little cardio so was specifically interested in HIIT and working to improve some of my martial arts skills. Enough about me ha ha - how about Rumble Boxing? If you are looking for HIIT workouts and dumbbell full body workouts, this is the place. The enthusiastic trainers are very good, the workouts are clear and scripted, easy to follow, and, most importantly, along with the team spirit motivation, you get exactly out of this what you decide to put into this. If you want to press yourself from the bench, you choose a slightly heavier weight and burn it out. On the bags, you can take your mental strength and just keep going and going. This work out is fun, reasonably priced, and they have a reasonably broad schedule to allow early birds, daytime exercises, and early evening workout routine people. It is not boring! It is challenging. There is a lot of room for anyone regardless of skills to improve those skills, and the workouts are really perfect in terms of HIIT. read more
