They're moist, good crunch, delicious and just what I need to lift my mood on a tough day. Here are some of my favorite cookies: Chocolate Chip, Chocolate Crackle, Rascal, Mexican Wedding Cake, Russian Tea Cake, M&M, etc. Don't think I've ever eaten a cookie I didn't like. When I come here, just about every time I get a big box of cookies so I can eat them over the next couple days. The shop is small, there tables in case you want to sit down, and there is the large counter where all the cookies are on display. It was a huge hit. This morning, I re-toasted a piece and had it with 2 eggs easy over. It is as good or better than last night. I will definitely find my way to the Heart and Stone Bakery. I might even take a day trip from my home here in Chico,, to see this bakery in Cohasset. This location had a sign on the door that stated they were in the middle of remodeling but still open for business. They had the new large kiosk screens in the back waiting to be activated but will definitely be nice for busy days and being able to see the menu and order on a larger screen. The inside of the store seemed a little messy because there were lots of ingredients out on the counters of frosting and only one girl behind the counter boxing up orders. I hope she wasn't there alone but there were quite a few people trying to get cookies and the free dirty soda so for one person it was busy. Overall my cookie tasted great in the new peach ring flavor and I got the Coke Zero dirty soda but the girl said the Coke Zero was not working and I had to do Diet Coke instead. Still tasted good but wish I could have gotten the correct soda to get the full flavor effect of that dirty soda. Would recommend stopping by Crumbl in general but maybe wait until this location is done remodeling and they hire a few more people.

It is very clean inside and they were baking as we came in. They don't have alot of choices but what they have looked really good! They are priced alittle too high for the area ( 3 very small cookies for 10 bucks). I got a cookie with banana flavor topped with brown sugar for 5 bucks. The cookie was pretty good but I am not big on sweets and so for the price of one cookie ...well it's not for me. Nice packaging in a pink box. I hope they do well in this challenging economy as they are providing quality cookies! I think they would be a great gift when visiting someone! Ps. Employees need to be nicer!

Dave Miller makes all the bread in the best old world tradition- he mills all his own organic stoneground flour each week and makes all the products himself, selling only at the Saturday Chico farmers market. This sort of craftsmanship is unheard of even at the Acme and Tartines of the world. The loaves are wonderfully light for using whole grain products, the biggest challenge using a complete flour. The flavor and look of these loaves are gorgeous as well, the craft of a true master baker.

I also love that they are completely gluten-free even though I am able to eat gluten, again, because friends and family who cannot eat gluten can eat freely here. Even though I'm not really a cone person, the scent of the cones baking entices me to get them often. Their new location is much bigger and has a much better flow with a dedicated section for the line, and they have a nice outdoor space to enjoy the ice cream outdoors as well. I am always really excited to see their new monthly rotating flavors even though I most frequently get my usual, which is a mini scoop that is half caramel and half coffee, which I think is the perfect pairing. I think for what they offer, their prices are completely reasonable. Just the other day I got two mini scoops (personally I think that volume is plenty!) and a cone, and my total came to $9. Finally, they just do customer service right and have a lot of cute little touches: the little gold spoons for samples or their flight of four ice creams, allowing you to purchase said little gold spoons for $3 (I may or may not have purchased two for myself), the employees are super friendly and on it and maintain a good flow (the line moves fast, even though it's super long usually!), the list goes on! Now, if I were to be completely nitpicky about making it a *seamless* customer servive experience, I personally love when that awkward tip screen does *not* come up when I am getting counter service, but I also acknowledge that that may just be a hot take. Not that I don't think they deserve it because they absolutely do, but I just find obligatory tipping pretty dystopian and would rather have faith that everyone is getting a living wage without having to "perform," and the prices are the true prices making it possible to do so. But again, overall this is an amazing place and I am so happy this local business exists in Chico. A cute little sidenote: one day the spouse of the owner was kinda helping out in the front, and he was just gushing about how proud he was of his wife and the work they're doing, and it was such a sweet endearing moment.

I love that she comes up with a variety of meals, such as: salmon cakes, Asian chicken wraps, turkey meatloaf, beef stew, various egg dishes. I tend to follow a Paleo diet, but she has all types of meals, including vegan. Even more importantly, because I have a sweet tooth, I love that she makes the most amazing healthy treats. For the first time this week I tried her orange cranberry scones and thought they were delicious; not to mention that they were keto. Another favorite is her strawberry shortcake. It's made with whipped coconut cream so it's gluten-free, sugar-free and dairy free. Hard to believe it's so good. And I love her orange carrot muffins. I try to get a delivery to my home every Monday (she delivers in Chico) but I also check her out at the farmer's market. Her prices are very reasonable considering the quality (organic fruits and veggies, grass fed beef etc.) I also feel that the energy of the person cooking your meals is important, and Mary has lovely energy, always smiling, kind, flexible.
