You would never know the difference if you ordered from the vegan menu! Good options in a pristine atmosphere. They have outdoor seating which is pet friendly! Love this more relaxing part of town ( but growing rapidly). I got the mint chip and I think a salted caramel flavored ice cream. The mint chip was awesome! Whatever I ordered for myself was a bit too sweet for me ( not a big ice cream lover) Quality organic ingredients and very popular! Great addition to this area! Insanely good ice cream with great vegan and traditional options! Savor is located in a new-ish shopping center in Chico. We had lunch nearby and strolled around, only to stumble into Savor for an after-lunch treat. Boy, am I glad we did! Two mini scoops of vegan birthday cake ice cream are all we needed to know that Savor is the real deal. I am always a bit skeptical of vegan ice cream, but this stuff was legit. The texture was great, and the chunks of birthday cake were insanely delicious. There is a great selection of indoor and outdoor seating, and the boho decor was nice. We ended up visiting again in the evening, where the line was out the door! Clearly, Savor has a reputation in Chico. We picked up a pistachio chip cheesecake and an almond frangipane blondie to enjoy at our hotel. The blondie was absolutely to die for. The cake-like texture was amazing, and the almond flavor was perfect. Warmed up with ice cream? Yes please! The cheesecake was very good and had a mild pistachio flavor. Been here multiple times over the past few months & OBSESSED is an understatement their flavors are so amazing we absolutely love the coffee flavor & mint brownie, the vegan ones are so good and creamy. We stopped by after hiking and had a hard time choosing because all the flavors are so tasty! We ended up going with the ice cream flight which let you pick 4 different flavors. We had daycamp coffee, earl grey and honey, vegan matcha, and maple bacon ice cream. The ladies there were so helpful and the decor is super cute. Will be back! read more

Their non-dairy/vegan Rocky Road ice cream is insanely good (it had been so long since I'd had Rocky Road!). The star of the show is their gluten free waffle cones though! They've perfected them. I love this place! Our kid goes to school in Chico and we hit up savor every time we visit. The flavors are unique and delicious, not overly sweet. My classic chocolate tasted similar to the soft serve I used to get at buffets. I wanted to get a flight, but my partner and I were very full from dinner, so he got a mini scoop. My family and I went back for a redo on the customer service front after our rocky experience last time. I'm very pleased to report all parts of our experience were perfect. We were glad to see full indoor and outdoor seating at the shop. Lots of happy customers and kind staff. I took the same brood of people as last time (three crazy kids and husband) plus another adult. We got even more ice cream than we did last and they were quick about getting us everything we needed. They were awesome about us trying the new (delicious!) vegan chai and vanilla even with a line forming. Everyone got out quickly with samples and cones. I'm still obsessed with the tiny spoons and the flavor did NOT disappoint. I've eaten vegan ice cream all over the United States (big and small cities alike) and Savor is, by far and away, the best. No question. I'm stoked we had such a better customer service experience this time. I was hoping to have only the best things to say to match the products Savor provides this community. Ok listen I love this ice cream so much, I'm gf and df and it's an amazing option. Yes the price is high but it's worth it. If I could just rate the actual ice cream this would be a 5/5 rating. The service is just so bad. The employees are always so rude and act like you're inconveniencing them by politely ordering and paying for ice cream. I always tip too and it's still the same thing. I genuinely don't understand how you can have such a bad attitude working at an ice cream shop. I've been coming to Savor since the official opening and the service has just gotten worse.
