Happy feet... When you're looking for some shoes and I've been here many times to get some much needed support for my feet from socks to various accessories to make the process easy and comfortable, and though I've been there many times I still though I knew which shoe would work best for my workout. The staff here are very helpful and knowledgeable and I just love how they display their shoes to make the viewing process easy. It can certainly be pricey though I think that the foundation of your feet is absolutely worth the price but they do have great sales as well so I do stop by frequently to see what they have. They have a community board for events and clubs which is great if you're starting or just curious where to begin, lots of free parking right beside the building though the entrance is on Sheridan Street and the exit is on Kapiolani Blvd or if just you're running in check them out. Thank you!

My husband and I came to Hawaii for our honeymoon and he wanted to stop by here since he is getting ready to run a marathon on December. We've had our fair share of awkward interactions at running stores since a lo of the employees have no idea what they're talking about. We were so excited to talk with the staff here because they actually knew what they were talking about. I feel like staff like this makes the experience that much more personable and special. We walked in just wanting to look around but left with a pair of runners that weren't even released in stores on the mainland. I'd definitely recommend stopping by here if you enjoy running both for fun or sport

    Asics best support!

Excellent customer service! Thank you very much charles! Needed to find myself a pair of shoes that'd help running much easier and better for my knees! Charles was very helpful and knowledgable! Answered all my questions and educated me on which shoes would be best for my needs. Would definitely be back!

So I had a great experience here. They opened at 10am right on time. I received great service and the ladies answered all my questions. I forgot to bring my socks, so they were kind enough to loan me some. Total Rookie mistake and I highly recommend you bring your own. They still have signs up asking that customers wear a mask, luckily I had one in my glove compartment . They have a great selection of shoes but they are kind of pricey. Expect to spend well over a $100. Here's some helpful hints 1. They offer a military discount on certain shoe brands. Hoka is not included in the discount but my ASICS were. 2. Bring your own socks and don't forget your mask! 3. You will not receive a refund of any type ... you will receive store credit which never expires. 4. They are currently hiring!

$86.90 shoes and toe socks and out the door! Awesome!

Just went here for the first time. Michael and his coworkers were most knowledgeable and helped me find the perfect footwear for my 12+ hour shifts at Queens. I am so happy! What a great store, well sticked with multiple options and genuinely friendly service! I am very happy and the price was excellent!

My only regret is not stopping by Runners Route sooner. This is the best store in the Ala Moana neighborhood for sports shoes and apparel. It has a wide variety of running shoes, many of which are on clearance. I compared the prices at Runners Route with Amazon, and you will find better deals here! You will also receive individualized attention that you will not get at big box stores. The sales associates are very friendly, attentive, and open to having you try a number of shoes until you find one that is the best fit. I love walking and I walk a considerable amount everyday. Walking is another form of meditation for me. Putting on my headphones to listen to music or a podcast while walking to work is a ritual I look forward to every weekday morning. On average, I walk approximately 15,000 steps everyday, excluding the exercise I get at the gym. On the weekend, I can walk up to 30,000 steps if I decide to walk to and from Downtown and Waikiki. That means I put a lot of mileage on my shoes. Over the weekend I discovered that the soles of the Børn walking shoes I bought only five months ago were already crumbling apart. I wanted to replace them with a pair of versatile and comfortable running shoes that I would be able to wear when walking around town, running at the gym, or hiking Diamond Head and Makapu'u. I saw that Yelp friend Kathy H. had recently bought several pairs of Hoka One One at Runners Route, and was happy with her purchases. I had worn Adidas, Brooks, and Sketchers sneakers before, but never Hoka. After doing some research on the internet, I learned that the maximalist Hoka shoe was founded by two French trail runners in 2009 when minimalist shoes, like Vibram FiveFingers, were considered trendy. Hoka is the antithesis of that. It is known as providing maximum cushioning. With all due respect to barefoot runners, I like as much cushioning in my shoes as possible! So, when I read that Hoka is, as Runner's World calls it, "the king of cushion", my decision was set to purchase a pair. Runners Route has Hoka One One shoes for men and women. For women's Hoka shoes, Runners Route sells the Bondi 6 and Clifton 5. One of the sales associates offered to have me try on the standard B width size as well as the wide sized shoe. I chose the standard B width because the wider shoe felt too big for me. I immediately wore my new Hoka shoes to the gym and wore them on my walk to work this morning. Hoka is now my new favorite brand of sneakers. I haven't worn a sneaker this comfortable in a long time. Hoka lives up to its reputation as being the most cushioned running shoe that is also lightweight. I will be buying my next pair of Hoka shoes at Runners Route.

At the time of purchase the salesperson said TNF has a lifetime warranty on their product and I appreciated the heads up. I take good care of my jackets and today I wore it for protection from the heavy rain. When I got home I noticed the inside lining of the hood was peeling. Other than that the jacket was in mint condition. Non fading, no tears, all zippers were in good working order. Fortunately, I still had the receipt so I went to the TNF store at Ala Moana Shopping Center to see what can be done. Salesperson 969009 assisted me with my issue with the jacket and after answering a few questions he then inspected the jacket and agreed it was well taken care of and in good condition. I filled out a form and to my surprise I received a full refund in a gift card. Not prorated but a full refund! I immediately looked around the floor and found another light jacket to my liking and purchased it from the store. Just want to say the salesperson (unfortunately I didn't get his name) was very helpful, professional and very knowledgeable. If I still worked as a store manager for Nordstrom I would have recruited him immediately.

The store is a good size with a decent amount of staff to help customers. Joyce is a model employee there and I hope management promotes her or gives her a raise! It's rare you'll need a puffer to wear in Hawaii but they do have rain jackets for local use. If they don't have the item, you can order through the store for free shipping. Their start was aimed at women yoga instructors and their fashionable and functional women's yoga pants are still a signature look at yoga classes. Today, Lululemon is an athletic apparel empire. The brand is not without controversy, starting with the founder, Chip Wilson. He stated in an interview about deliberate mockery of the multiple use of the letter "L" in Lululemon, to make it difficult for Japanese to pronounce. He also made critical and unappreciated remarks about women's bodies following criticism over Lululemon's unflattering and revealing sheer black women's yoga pants. And it continues with his criticism of the diversity and inclusion initiatives the company has emphasized after his departure. Nevertheless, I am a fan of the brand. Not everything fits me well but what does makes me happy. The material is comfortable, washes and line dries easily, and will last for years with only minor dark color fading. I find their athleisureware perfect for traveling. There are several newer athleisure brands out there with products as good or better in quality or price. But the large numbers of Lululemon stores makes it easy to shop. I have bought clothes suitable for the weather while traveling in Tokyo and Seattle - very convenient. I visited on 4/26/26 around noon and stood at the Victoria's Secret side of the registers (separate from the Pink side). Two employees were at the counter with no customers in line. When I explained what happened, the cashier just said "sorry about that" in a flat, scripted tone that made it obvious she wasn't actually concerned. "Keep your sense of humor. There's enough stress in your life not to let bad shots ruin a game…read moreyou're supposed to enjoy." - Amy Alcott, LPGA Hall of Famer We've passed the Travis Mathew lifestyle and golf apparel store at the Ala Moana Center many times since its opening in late February and chuckled at their catchy quote sign. I've known about the stylish California-inspired Travis Mathew men's golf wear for several years, and my current favorite PGA play, John Rahm, wears this brand while on tour. During several passes, I have urged my husband to go in to browse and upgrade his golf wardrobe as he has insisted that I do the same. My husband hadn't gone in to try on the performance polo shirt that he had seen while window shopping, so I took it upon myself to scope out the performance wear and inquire about Travis Mathew's upcoming women's golf apparel line. Walking in, the two employees, who were toward the back of the store unpacking inventory, greeted me with smiles and Aloha. I let them know that I came in to browse for my husband and asked about the arrival of the upcoming women's sportswear. They said the women's line was delayed but should be coming into their inventory in about two weeks, or hopefully, earlier. Just then, my eyes caught sight of the DAD BOD mannequin, and I burst into laughter. My Yelp Friend from Palos Verdes, Chris G, had pointed this mannequin out while visiting his local Travis Mathew store recently. However, because my husband and I hadn't gone far back enough into our Ala Moana store, this was my first time seeing the local version. The male sales representative said the mannequin is quite the conversation piece, and he, although much younger than me, said he's on his way to looking like that even though he's not yet married. Um, I didn't think he's even close to looking like that! Besides, my husband and I took up golf before Tiger Woods came onto the golf scene, and it seemed that most male golfers, amateur and professional, looked like that mannequin. Anyway, we chatted a bit about golf as I browsed and never felt rushed or smothered by this sales representative. The female employee was assisting another customer near the fitting rooms and later joined into the discussion on aging "gracefully" and maintaining fitness to improve your quality of life. We all agreed that playing golf, no matter what skill level you have, is a sport that one can play and enjoy until one's later years. They understood that golf challenges one's mental acuity while not requiring muscle-bound (but fitness, flexibility, and proper techniques are keys). Yes, golfing is paradoxical, and we agreed that accuracy and touch are better than power. Heehee, but, yeah, having strength and agility could be more fun to watch, eh? As more customers came into the store, I quietly stepped to the side to not bother the sales representative with more frivolity; after all, they're working. As I continued to browse, I thought my husband would enjoy the casual apparel for on and off the course and vowed to return when the women's line is released. We'll be back to upgrade our golf attire because my husband teases me about looking too much like a gardener or hiker when we golf.
