I will limit my observation to the willingness of middle and senior level staff to treat my parents with respect, listening carefully to what they say and working diligently to craft solutions that work. We recently presented them with some unusual problems. They came together, worked outside the box and creatively, energetically, proactively turned a family crisis into a little oasis of safety and calm. I'll let others talk about the normal day to day routines that make a place like this a home for our honored parents and loved ones. And it's all good, believe me. But, when we needed help ... they were there. Impressive. That's a sign of deep corporate cultural health.

I was one of the early residents of their villas, and they were initially a great improvement to the facility. I felt the facility fully deserved a five-star rating. However while the staff is still outstanding, the quality of services has degraded. It seems that they added over fifty villas to the facility but failed to increase the kitchen size, the transportation support, and likely some of the staffing needs to maintain the high standards of three years ago.

My journey with this home and Madonna... Originally met with Madonna and I was excited to get the process rolling for my loved one who is diagnosed with ALS. Her facility is very peaceful outside. Due to Covid we were unable to go inside. I explained to her that he had Medicaid during the visit and she told me that it may be more difficult getting him in due to what the home charges and what the daily rate Medicaid will pay. Fast forward I push hard for Medicaid to do as much as they can to get my loved one into this home. They express that Madonna will need to submit certain paperwork to explain why the daily rate would need to be more than what they are offering. July 2nd Madonna agrees to come out and meet my loved one to assess his needs. July 7th I receive a text from her changing the meeting time from 10 to 9:30. When first interviewing the place, we were told there is a doctor who comes every Monday. When we met the doctor, he was clear to us that he is a nurse who has a doctorate in nursing. He was honest. The Quarry continues to refer to him as a doctor and even a primary care doctor. A federal court case out of California clearly ruled that this is illegal because it is misleading. The Quarry should stop referring to this wonderful nurse as a "Doctor".

The last executive director who was fired had no etiquette whatsoever and became very narcissistic when I set boundaries with her and the facility. Little did she and the staff know, when I was being vetted I received a copy of the court visitor report and to my surprise, Arcadia threw me under the bus stating I was not fit to be a guardian because I was an actor, see attached picture. If this is not enough to go here, continue reading the shit show that is Arcadia. This place lacks professionalism, accountability, and respect. The new executive director is the same as the last executive director -- gaslights, claims to never hear what you are saying and makes you question if you are really in the right for not wanting your loved one or yourself to live here -- no you are not crazy, a narcissistic soul is to not be messed with. With a narcissist, 5 + 5 = 2 to them and you know it's 10 but they will find a way to argue their way through their truth lie. During the time my father was here, he went to the ER three times, one of which was an ICU visit. The executive director then wrote to me that how could I think that's a lot of time to be at the hospital when the whole point of moving my father to a care facility was to keep him out of the hospital and instead he went and the ICU visit he had pneumonia and was on a ventilator and all times he had a UTI with the main issues he was in the hospital for. The level of inadequacy in this facility especially from the two executive directors is beyond dark and the facility is to not be trusted. The last ER visit I told the social worker to move him to the new care facility that was better suited for my father's needs and instead she worked with Arcadia and like the last times, I was blown smoke and mirrors. After this visit I called to speak to the in house social worker and asked if he was brushing his teeth and taking showers and she said no and then Jose Garcia told me I heard no such thing. The weird part is that after the social worker Candy told me of this who had a nurse with her when this conversation took place, she was let go immediately -- wrongful termination is illegal. I have every right to know what was happening with my father and Arcadia wanted to never provide accurate information until I got resources to find out they were lying right through their teeth. When it came down to moving my father, they did not help with discharge, made the process extremely difficult and continued to harass me about my decision. They then said my dad owed for 30 days for a notice I never saw the entire time I was there nor did I sign and being his guardian I'm legally supposed to be shown all documents especially when a signature is needed. Arcadia thinks they are above the law and they are learning through my experience they are not. Tammy the nurse then told me my dad owned furniture but never in anything I've signed did it ever say that the room furniture is the tenant's responsibility. Arcadia will make up rules as they go along to try and drag you through the mud in hopes you will give up to them and let dark energy win. Jose the new executive director was extremely rude to various outside medical staff trying to help me with my father and sent photos of other residents to me with my father in the photo. The social worker she worked with at Milwaukie Emergency geriatric psych was extremely disrespectful to me for getting a nurse care manager to do research into these evil souls and give me the real truth about my fathers medical chart. Google what an ARCHON is, they are Fallen angels and operate from ego and drain human life force energy, money, resources, etc. Both executive directors with the social worker at the Milwaukie psych unit are all one and karma has already sent the original executive director to her appropriate timeline. Jose, I hope the universe is kind to you because you can't avoid the time continuum and your karma is manifesting quite well. Peace and blessings, when you mess with me, you mess with my whole divine team! To tie it all together, I paid over 10k a month for my dad to not take his medication for almost two months and was then notified when it was too late sending him to the ER and then right when he came back to Arcadia he missed three sets of medicine and the executive director denied the whole thing yet I have physical proof that my information is accurate. If paying Arcadia results in multiple ER visits, missed medication, no showers, poor mouth hygiene, then I am in full legal rights to have made the emergency move for my father!

My stay was in 2025 from June to October in the acute care unit of the facility. I received very…read moregood wound care for my amputated leg by conscientious, professional nurses (mostly Nicole, Joshua, Carrie & Serge ...), the CNAs (mostly Kelly, Adriana, Trinity), the shower aids, my RCM Alicia and the therapists. Transportation to and from doctor appointments were reliably handled by the staff. Overall, good people dedicated to giving quality care to both acute and long-term residents as far as I could tell. I'm confident I was in much better health (especially my amputation) when I departed than I was upon arrival. The only major complaints I have are these two: (1) more nurses and CNAs are urgently needed for every shift because wait times for assisting residents in distress are frequently way too damn long; (2) the quality of meals is routinely subpar at best (not as good as hospital food!) and menu variety is monotonous. Frequent visits by a resident's family can partially help alleviate these problems. Well, that said, I very much recommend Lacamas Creek Post Acute facility even for my own family and friends; from what I hear you could do a lot worse in the Clark County/Vancouver metro.

I had many complaints against this home, about the treatment, neglect and emotional abuse that my mother suffered during her 7 month stay. The owner and the care givers all lied! No surprise there. Pages and pages of lies! Just wow. They would even eavesdrop on my mother's personal phone calls and write those things down in their care notes. Can you believe that? Please do not under any circumstance place your beloved parent or relative at this facility. You will be sorry! This place might look real pretty and ritzy on the outside, but inside is a house of horrors. I wonder if the other residents families are aware of the treatment their loved ones are receiving.

The Riverview Adult Care Home is a five star resource for seniors in need of TLC. We placed my mom…read morehere to continue rehabbing after breaking her femur and could not be happier with the way she was cared for. Breathtaking views and resort like food was her daily routine. She experienced high quality interactions with the owners, aids, residents and community during her stay. They integrated her medications and her therapy visits seamlessly. We were welcomed at off hours, dropped in when necessary and received regular updates about her nutrition, social interactions and personal needs. I cannot speak highly enough of the owners and the care. (I am a Registered Nurse and I'd like to spend my last days at the Riverview!) It's a small tight knit family of residents and the rooms have private bathrooms but showers are assisted. I hope if my mom needs future care the Riverview has space.
