Cool food options you won't see any where else. Had some really good pickle dip. Shared some loaded potato bites and a Runt's wrap. All pretty good. Will have to come back to try the corn dog waffle.

Cute Place. Great selection of munchies!

Cute place. So many munchies to choose from. We had the pickle dip, loaded mashed potato bites and the runts wrap. All tasted good. You can get their food delivered thru MyTownToGo and view their menu on there.

Remember school lunches and savoring mom's homemade lunch on rare occasions? That has been my Runt's Munchies experience every time.

This place prides itself on having menu items which change with the seasons. This desert merits being an exception to that rule and hopefully will become perennial. Despite being a Vegan and Gluten-free desert, it is one of their most popular. I hope it's there the next time we travel through this area. The other Vegan items were good but this is truly great!

I was a guest to my bankers and they made a couple recommend recommendations which were outstanding. I ended up getting the tuna poke, and the appetizer with tuna. Everything was outstanding. If you're looking for a nice place with great service in ambulance with good food to top it off you'll definitely wanna check this place out.

I knew I had to try it on a recent visit back home. My experience was mixed. The excellent: our table service was next level with each dish being thoroughly explained. We were educated on the thought process behind each wine pairing as well. Between each course our table was cleaned and we were presented with fresh silverware. The great: the food was presented beautifully and our meal looked incredibly impressive. The interior definitely invoked the Brooklyn vibes that inspired the restaurant in the first place. It feels very upscale hipster. The disappointing: though the overall experience was tasty and texturally perfect, each dish we tried had some overpowering element and flavors were not balanced. After the tuna crudo all I could taste was celery, after the morel mushroom pasta all I could taste were the pungent chive blossoms, and the trout skin/asparagus were over-grilled and I felt like I was eating a well prepared charcoal briquette. Maybe I'll give this place another try next time I'm in town and hope the flavors make as much sense as the rest of the experience.

It was a slow Tuesday but the service was pleasant and everyone was very nice and service was quick. We didn't wait more than 10 mins for our food to get to us. The vibe of Hip-Stir ha always been cool and kinda niche and this was no exception. If you don't know that they changed up their menu.. they did. It's not bad by any means, but I am pretty heartbroken about them removing the Spinach Artichoke dip. It was the best around and I'll be overjoyed when it returns. The new menu still features ramen, sandwiches and other yummy dishes. I ordered a side of Mac and cheese with my entree and the food was out in about 20 minutes which is great! Unfortunately my Mac and cheese was forgotten- our server apologized and went to "get that started", no worries. The next time our server was at our table I inquired about it again since it had been about 10 minutes, but she had forgotten yet again. She rushed back to "get it started", ok. At this point everyone was getting full and I didn't even want it anymore, but she returned a few minutes later with it. A little frustrating. The ramen has changed, unfortunately. My sister ordered the spicy pork (which has historically been amazing) and didn't even finish it, which is pretty weird for her lol. I tasted nothing but soy sauce and spice. I'm not sure where the aromatics went, but they need to bring them back asap. Don't order the carrot cake. It was served over coffee (yes, hot coffee) which ruined it. The cake was overly soggy and tasted of nothing but the coffee flavor. I'm sure it would have been great without it, the frosting looked great. I'll probably be back and love supporting the Fun not Fancy group in CR, but last night was a miss.
