Peanut butter crunch and High Tide Smoothies. Yum!
    Robert S.

So good! Incredible variety of smoothies and acai bowls. You can't go wrong with the Beach bowl. High tide smoothie and Peanut butter crunch smoothie were favorites! Akela, was super friendly and helpful!

Fun options for their specialties, love that they have protein and milk base choices as well. The portion was generous (especially the almond butter I added as a topping!) and the bowl was delicious. My only complaint is that each signature bowl comes with very few fruit toppings (if any) compared with other acai bowls I've had. To add beyond one topping is $0.75+, which i think is kind of steep for chopped blueberries or something... Service was friendly and quick, the place itself is a little small so I wouldn't plan to hang with a big group inside.

JP always greets us with a smile and conversation no matter how busy he is back there. He doesn't stop working magic but still makes us feel valued. JP is amazing!! He BLENDS it just right. The flavor and texture be on point!! No frozen chunks ever!! I LOVVEEEE WHEN I SEE JP IN THE WINDOW MIXIN!!!!

The bowl is here are delicious! I love that everything is real fruit. Being able to add a booster is also really nice. Thank you, AK for your amazing service. She really went above and beyond to help me customize my bowl and it tastes amazing! I will definitely be back next weekend for your personalized recommendation!

    Berry bowl!

Delicious bowls at Rush today. Friendly and knowledgeable, Owen helped us make great choices!

My experience at rush bowl was phenomenal, customer service went above and beyond. The bowl was beautifully done, fresh, and so delicious. The person who helped me was "Rob" or "Robert"!! :) I believe he's the owner! Such an awesome, incredible and sweet soul with excellent customer service. I would recommend for everyone to come here!! 1,000/10 experience!!!

Owen was really amazing with explaining my options and took the time out to see what I really wanted in my bowl. He had excellent customer service skills this has been the best experience, I've had while in rush bowls.

Small cute store -- come support the business. Personally not a big smoothie person but best fruit bowl/smoothie place in the downtown Berkeley area! Fresh ingredients, fast service.

PB and J Bowl (I ate some of it because it looked so delicious )

Excuse the atrocious picture as it does not do the pb n j bowl enough justice! Compared to vitality bowls or nektar, they LOAD up on the toppings. In fact, you can clearly see the heaping amount of freshly made peanut butter they slathered onto my bowl. In retrospect, their pb n j bowl might be one of the best smoothie bowls I think I've ever had. The employees are also incredibly nice, and the establishment is super clean. Overall, this whole experience is an 11/10. I will definitely come back to Rush Bowls!!

    Rush Bowls in Berkeley

I recently became obsessed with smoothies and bowls. I had book marked Rush Bowls Oakland as a must try. When I mapped it, I noticed there was one in Berkeley! So convenient. It is on Addison street, down the road past Revival. It is kind of hidden. I would never have guessed it wasn't just part of the apartments on that street. Its a tiny adorable little shop. The customer service was gracious and helpful. They have bowls and smoothies. The bowls are basically a super thick smoothie consistency with granola and various fruit toppings. They're all around $10 to start. This seems a little pricy but i'm sure its because they use such great ingredients. We got the paradise bowl. It was flavorful, light and delicious. I like their granola. I will definitely be coming back to try an acai bowl!

Not too sweet and strong enough that I wanted another lol My friend just had coffee which the staff made sure to always ask if he wanted refilled. Breakfast came quick. The chicken and waffles is a classic. I always order it when I come. Chicken was thick and juicy. We had been to Tarocco for lunch and figured we would ask them for a quote, too. My daughter warned me that the owner is trying to be an "influencer" on Instagram and posts photos of herself in crop Tops so I should beware, but that's fine by me. We called to get a quote and had a discussion. After we gave the owner all of our information, she told us she wouldn't give us a quote unless we came in person (?!) Which is weird because this isn't how restaurants work. Typically for events restaurants will give you a quote via phone or email for the sake of convenience. We had gotten 3 quotes already from other restaurants via phone. Making us drive 45 mins just to get a quote is a total waste of time. Especially if we can't afford it. So my daughter called again, left a VM explaining we couldn't come in person due to time constraints, and again asked for a quote. No reply. We waited a few days and called again. No reply. Finally we got a voicemail from the owner saying that she didn't like my daughter's attitude ?!!! Apparently you're not allowed to ask this restaurant how much they charge for events unless you're face to face. This lady has absolutely no idea how to run a restaurant. We took our business elsewhere and recommend that you do, too.

The workers and the owner were all very kind and welcoming. I got there a little after they opened in the morning. As for the food, I ordered the kimchi fried rice along with the chicken and croffle. The fried chicken tasted a bit interesting. I'm not sure if the frying temperature was off or if it had something to do with the condition of the oil, but the texture of the breading wasn't quite right. I used to work at a fried chicken shop in Korea, so it was a texture I recognized--the coating was fully cooked and wasn't necessarily soggy, but there was no real crunch. Instead of being crispy, the breading was soft and kind of gave way when you bit into it. Unfortunately, I couldn't continue eating it. I'd give the chicken a 2/5. As for the kimchi fried rice, I liked the addition of cilantro and beets, which gave it a refreshing touch. My only issue was that the kimchi itself was way too sour for kimchi fried rice. I don't mind fermented or sour kimchi, but in this case, the sourness overpowered the rest of the dish. Overall, the cafe itself is cute and the people working there were genuinely very kind. I just wish the food had been a little better, especially the fried chicken. Will be back next time to try out the coffee!! It is a cafe after all.

We ordered, settled in, and then watched every single table seated after us get their food while we sat there starving. After 45 minutes of playing the waiting game, we asked what was going on and found out our order was never even entered into the system. Heavy lapse in service.
