I would definitely recommend Rush Flyer Printing without reservation to anyone needing printing services. I am the Cultural Editor for Society & Diplomatic Review, a magazine and website dedicated to serving the needs of the diplomatic global community.  We are also a public relations firm that is engaged by established artists devoted to humanitarian causes to arrange and promote exhibitions at the United Nations, embassies, missions, consulates, galleries, etc.  One such artist, Neil Kerman, was recommended to us a few days before his exhibition at the UN for Alzheimer's disease awareness.  We needed 800 copies of a top quality 32-page booklet printed overnight. This was one of the worst experiences I have ever had when ordering printed materials. First they charged $50 dollars to design our business cards. Then when my company asked them for a native workable copy we were entitled to, they said that the fee would be another $100. This is unacceptable because I specifically asked if I would be getting the native file. Instead they sent me a blurry jpeg image that is of no use. Second, they claimed they could complete my order overnight, however that was not the case. After about 20 minutes they called me back and told me the only way they could do an overnight order was if I purchased 5000 when I only wanted 1000. I said that was fine, because I had no choice and I needed the cards. 20 minutes later I get a call saying they can't complete my order in 24 hours like they claimed. Instead the job would take 4 days! So I canceled my order for 5000 and went back to my original amount of 1000. Basically they are horrible on all levels! The individuals I worked with were so upsetting because they use bait & switch tactics and everyone told me something different. I would NOT recommend this printing company to ANYONE!!!!! read more

If care about quality do not waste your time & money. The quality is just OK, Customer service - the WORST EVER if you are so lucky to talk to someone. The shipping dept. Has no brains, they shipped 3 boxes FEDEX overnight to my office 12 miles away, at the cost of $140. You will NEVER talk to a manager or person of authority. I know who is the gen. It bothers me that my first review is negative. I usually don't write reviews for anything, but this company displayed such a fantastic level of incompetence that I must caution others about using their service. I have to give a star so I am, but I'd give negative stars if I could. Learn from my mistake and save yourself the headache. I called to get a double sided, oversize file rush printed which most places only print to 11x17. They assured me they could do it in the short time frame I had stipulated (less than 48 hours) and certainly charged me for it ($775), then asked me to call at 12 pm on the day of to confirm the job was finished. However, when I called, not only was the job not finished, but the printer had conveniently broken down and he was not sure when the "part" needed would come in. I settled for a smaller version of the file I wanted at no charge and was promised that the file would be ready today at 12. But come today at 12:00 the job was again not finished and he could not give me an idea of when it would be finished. I have chased him around, requesting updates and getting none and talking to ineffectual receptionists. At this point no one is answering the phone. The fact that he was twice unable to complete the job and twice did not call to notify me so I could make other arrangements for a rush job (rush means important) is unacceptable, but I also just don't believe him. I don't believe that a competent, honest businessman would conduct himself this way. He said that he spent all day on the phone and he has 15 people standing around not working, when I asked why one of those 15 other people couldn't have called to notify me he had no answer. At this point I have called other services and to rush the job for today would cost me over $1000. I will never, NEVER use this service again. They were listed at 1800 Printing but have other aliases on their invoice, one of which is rush flyer printing, and Eli emailed me from that domain. Looking at other reviews for Rush Flyer Printing- though they also use 1800 Printing, PrintingManhattan.com, flyerboyz, and gorilla printing so look out for those- make me realize that these guys have a history of terrible excuses and awful customer relations. Seriously stay away from this hot mess of a business. They list themselves as on 154 Grand Street, but it's just where you go to pick it up. This place has a reasonable quality printing service but their customer service is the worst! Eli is extremely rude and impatient. If there's a mistake on your prints, don't bother trying to get a refund or the mistake amended. They already have your money, they don't care! I ordered company business cards from here a month back. Emailed the images and specifications, no problem. When I received the cards, they were not printed as specified in my email. I called to report the mistake and all I got was a lady with zero power to issue me a refund. I explained to her the mistake and she said Eli would call back (which he never did). I later called back and she explained to me that they couldn't print the cards as specified in the given time frame. Why did no one tell me this when I emailed my order and paid for the cards?! To make a long story short, I did not receive a refund and now have 600 useless business cards. read more

I have had nothing but first rate quality, service, turn-around and competitive pricing from Rush Flyer Printing through dozens of jobs. The last time I looked this was a wholesaler or "trade printer" which might explain the negative posts. As industry pros we all get preferential pricing and turn-around because the work we are reselling can go straight to prepress. In other words, unless your job has physical problems (which would be corrected before you even got the job), I am guessing the mistakes are yours! Rush Flyer Printing saved us. We were running over two and a half weeks past deadline on a very large and complicated job that had zero flexibility on its delivery date. Our original printer bailed on us saying he could no longer guarantee all the bells and whistles in the short amount of time left, and now the calls I was putting through in search of new printers was making me feel as though I was asking for the impossible. Then by some stroke of unexplained luck, I found Eli at Rush Flyer Printing. After hearing the demands of the job coupled with its nasty deadline his first response was "Of course we can do it". Not only was he and his staff extremely gracious and helpful, they treated the job as though this was the sort of thing they dealt with everyday, no problem. The pricing was very reasonable (especially considering the circumstances of this job) and there were no outrageous surcharges. Whenever I had a question I could always reach someone by phone to answer it for me. They promised to deliver by truck 5:00 pm on a Friday in mid-town Manhattan which is the height of rush hour on the worst day of the week. Well, it was delivered two hours early. The printing was flawless. They did such a gorgeous job printing it that even people who know absolutely nothing about printing were asking where it was done. It was perfect. I am so impressed with their work and their reliability --and the ease with they handled everything-- that I wouldn't think twice about sending my next job there, big or small. I must also add that the job they did for me was not one that's included on the list on their homepage, so if you're looking to have something special done and you don't see it on the list, just ask them.
